We were a bit hesitant about coming to this area in August, due to possible bad weather. We were very lucky and while we were there were some very hot and some very rainy weather, we were able to do everything we wanted to. We opted to stay on the property for the most part, several of our party took a diving trip out of Freeport, this time of year do you have to go there and not from the resort. The overall property of these units are a bit dated, but in the end, we all decided that was part of the charm. The natural beauty is what really sells this place. I’m not sure if anyone actually pays the rates the hotel charges, but these units are very well priced. We had 2 adjoining rooms, as we had our college aged twins with us. The kitchenette facilities are extremely limited, we made do, but it would be nice to be able to be provided with a little package of dish soap, a sponge and paper towels, there was no real way to clean up. We were also surprise there was no place to get ice, but then found we can get a large bag at the marina, but then had no place to put it. We never went offsite for dinner, and really enjoyed the dockside restaurant and the teasers bar for food and drinks. The staff is incredibly friendly, and helpful. Harold and Briana are to stand outs. Our kids took amazing underwater photos snorkeling, right on property. For those that can bring their own gear, that will probably be preferable as what the Hotel provides is pretty limited.
