A great location. Short walk to what has become our new favorite Florida beach. Beautiful sand and water and surprisingly low volume which has been perfect. The property itself is great! Comfortable, well stocked, the hang out nook and the laundry really stands out! Everything has been great!!

Wow- we were so impressed with this rental! It was clean and exactly as advertised. The location was fantastic ! We loved that so many things were included and provided such as beach chairs, toy, towels , essentials like napkins, towels, soaps, toilet paper and more. The rental was comfortable and perfect for our family trip. We will be back!!!

The house was perfect for us! We could not have asked for a better location on the island! The owner went as far as making sure there were plenty of beach chairs, umbrella, wagon, cooler for us to use at the beach. I will be returning! Cheers!

Absolutely loved the AMI Beach Shack!! Super clean and comfortable. They thought of everything you could need. The little park on the bay a few steps away is perfect for watching the sun rise... And of course the beach is right there as well. Great place to stay!

Perfect weekend in paradise

We loved everything about this property. The location was perfect, 3 short blocks to the beach, even closer to the bay. Communication with the rental owner/property manager was smooth and easy. Early check-in option was worth the few extra bucks. Property was clean, well maintained, comfortable beds, and kitchen had everything we needed during our stay. We loved the microfiber beach towels so much we both purchased the same ones when we got home! If one thing could use an upgrade it would be the beach chairs, but we are low maintenance and we were happy just to have something to sit on at the beach. A few restaurants within walking distance. Quick drive or Monkey Bus ride to most other places. We were only 2 people, but this house would suit 4 comfortably. I would definitely stay here again.

AMI Beach Shack March 2023

We are a family of 5 + dog. This place has two bedrooms and ample space for all 5 of us. The sunrise can be seen from the deck, and the walk to the beach is so short ( ocean side and less then a 2min walk), and from that side you can watch the sunsets. The house has all sorts of amenities for convenience (i.e grilling utensils, baking utensils, quick dry towels for the beach). Evenings (sleeping specifically), beds are comfy. However, due to the stress on the AC, the house can only be cooled to 72, which is not the ice box we enjoy at home so if you have a personal fan, I'd bring it as the house is not equipped with ceiling fans. The yard is not fenced in so if you do bring your dog take note of that as the locals (neighbor next door) is a pest when it comes to pets. She didn't ruin our enjoyment of the home, but for future renters, she is a bit aggressive and will not hesitate to complicate your stay. Vacationado and specifically Lelia Smarte was very easy to work with and very professional. I would definitely stay here again as the house is cute and Vacationado was very accommodating. I'm giving it a 5star as it came as advertised and we enjoyed ourselves immensely.

AMI Beach Shack

The AMI Beach Shack had everything we needed for a girls' beach weekend including beach chairs, umbrellas and towels. The location was great, just three blocks to a beautiful beach and a short trolley ride to restaurants and shopping. The Shack itself has been completely redone and is clean, comfortable and cute. The Vacationado hosts were easy to reach when we had questions and communicated quickly. We enjoyed our stay here!

Live like a local, 2 blocks from the beach

The entire experience, from booking, to checking-in, to checking-out has been smooth sailing. The property itself is perfectly sized for a family, with two sizable beds; the couch bed is comfortable enough that my children often preferred sleeping there. The laundry room has a generous assortment of beach equipment and the shaded patio is perfect for doing some grilling and enjoying a few beers out of the heat. If you've never been to AMI before, the location is ideal: adjacent to a free trolley stop (useful for going places with limited parking, such as Bridge Street stores), close to the supermarket, pharmacy, and the main bridge on/off the island (for day trips), while also being in a quiet residential neighborhood near a playground. Lelia and Justin were welcoming, helpful and prompt in their communications. Highly recommended.

Perfect little place

Our stay at the AMI Beach Shack was wonderful. The house was perfect for 3 adults and I believe 4 would have been ok too. Communication with host was very easy. The house was very clean. I’m not sure the dishwasher always works too well as after we ran it some dishes were still dirty. The kitchen is well supplied for all your cooking needs. The beds were comfy! We did find it odd that there was no dresser for unpacking in the queen bedroom and the half the dresser in the king bedroom was inaccessible due to the closet doors. Perhaps changing out those doors with an accordion type or a curtain would be better! The beach equipment that we were able to use was great, we flew down so we would have had to rent stuff. If you have kids there are plenty of beach toys for them to use! The area out back was perfect for evening cocktails! Overall a great little house that we would definitely rent again!!

We Love the Beach Shack

We are heading home from 5 days at the Beach Shack . This place was perfect for us ! So cute, spotlessly clean, everything you need already there'. Centrally located to easily get around AMI. The trolley service is great and very useful I adult and 4 teenagers found this spot to be perfect for us ! Recommend !!!!

Great time!!

We recently stayed at the AMI Beach Shack The unit was very clean upon arrival. The location was great, a very short walk to the beach and the Free Trolley stop! We were very comfortable here, there were 3 adults but 4 would have worked too! The beds were comfortable. Kitchen well stocked for cooking if you choose to do so. The dishwasher doesn’t work too well but if you rinse all dishes really well it’s ok. There are beach chairs, umbrellas and toys for use during your stay which came on quite handy as we flew down. Would definitely recommend and would stay again.

The Beach Shack did not disappoint !!

This property was really perfect for our group of 1 adult and 4 teens. It was very clean and had everything one would need , whether you wanted to cook or go to the beach. Speaking of the beach , a very short walk across the street and you are right there!! There was also easy access to the local free trolley that can take you up and down Anna Maria. We loved this place and highly recommend the whole area !

Sweet and simple

This is a sweet beach house that met the basic needs for our family. I was super impressed with how clean the property was given the sandy nature of the area. The location is very near the public beach and a small playground. The shopping area and restaurants were about a 20-30 minute walk, and it was nice to be able to get around without a car. I didn’t realize that the home actually has two units, with this one being on the front. We were able to hear the other renters but it wasn’t overly disruptive, and the property does offer a degree of separation in the shared spaces. Overall we had a pleasant stay.
