Absolutely wonderful space and was perfect for my partner and I on our trip to Acadia NP!! Very clean & not too far of a drive (30 mins to entrance, 45 to Cadillac for sunrise) and very conveniently located for the price! Host was easy to communicate with about check in and responsive when needed. Will definitely look to stay here again once we return!P.S. would recommend making sushi plans as they have a nice set of utensils if you’re into that type of thing ;)

Loved this cottage, very spacious and clean. Has everything you need. The entire atmosphere is just serene and peaceful. The view from the deck is beautiful. Lots of opportunities to observe nature and wildlife

Great secluded cabin

Modern, comfortable and close enough to Acadia and Bar Harbor. The rural marsh setting and wildlife are wonderful. We would stay here again.

Perfect getaway!

This cabin is perfect for 2 people who are looking for a quiet cabin with an easy drive to Bar Harbor, Acadia, Ellsworth, etc. It is clean, accommodating, and super cute! We would definitely stay there again.

The location of this cabin is dreamy! Wow! So glad we stayed here rather than Bar Harbor. We struggled to use the coded lock at the front door. It shut down on us a couple times and the alarm went off on the lock a couple times. I had to Google lens it to get it to stop.The whole place was spotless. The jetted tub is dreamy and felt so good after loads of Acadia hiking.Climbing the windy staircase up and down in the night when we need to go to the bathroom got tiresome and it was hard to go back to sleep.Beds were super comphy and we only need to use the heat for a small bit to warm up the place at night.We loved walking down to the Jordan inlet with fall foliage everywhere.Would definitely stay again!

Anniversary getaway

Beautiful, serene landscape in a cozy cabin perfect for 2! Lots of wildlife seen and path to river nice little escape. Close to Acadia National park but also a wonderful visit to Historic Castine with gorgeous views, a quaint little museum and good eats.

Great location to visit Acadia!

Husband & I wanted to visit Acadia. This was the perfect location!! Away from the crowds of Acadia but just a short drive to all Acadia had to offer. Beautiful setting!!! We saw deer each night just the right amount of space for the 2 of us. Highly recommend!

Beautiful cabin near Acadia

We loved this quaint cottage. It had all the amenities and was perfect for our girls trip. Luis was attentive to our needs and very responsive. It was convenient to Bar Harbor and Acadia. It was also close to Ellsworth for food and other shopping. Would definitely stay here again.

Peaceful getaway

Very quiet and enjoyable. Watched turkey, deer, and firefly’s from the deck. Far away from everything and close enough at the same time. Acadia was a very easy drive to from the cabin.

Beautiful home and area

This home was perfect. Had everything needed for a nice getaway with my wife for our anniversary. The owner was awesome and communicated well with great instructions on everything set needed. If you have an opportunity to stay here, you won't regret it!

Natural Beauty

Deer visited us every morning. Easy drive to Lamoine State Park and beach. Convenient to Bar Harbor. The cottage was beautiful and perfect for relaxing on the deck, watching the sunset. We hope to be back!

Perfect lil getaway cottage

Very clean and cute place; well stocked and comfortable. Private but not isolated; a quick 30 min drive to Bar Harbor. Only cons is the couch is not very comfortable. You sink into it quite a bit and half to pull yourself out. The bed and bath are on separate floors so if you frequent the bathroom through the night it might not be the place for you. Overall we enjoyed it very much and would stay there again.

South Carolina Mainers

We are from a rural area in South Carolina so this home located in this semi rural area was perfect for this part of our Maine adventure! We were able to get to several areas to hike and witness the true beauty of New England Fall foliage. The highlight of our entire trip was Cadillac Mtn. and gracious what a sight to see! My wife and I still can't believe what we witnessed from the summit. I would highly recommend this home to anyone planning a trip to Maine!

Great Maine retreat!

The cottage was a fantastic place to stay during our trip to Maine. Everything is exactly as shown in the pictures--clean, modern, and comfortable. Very easy 1/2 hour drive to Bar Harbor. The only thing about the place I didn't expect is that it's directly in the approach of runway 22 at the Hancock County - Bar Harbor Airport, so there were occasionally some very low-flying corporate/private jets directly overhead. This wasn't a problem for us, but it might be if you're looking for more of a serene stay. Overall though, the cottage offers a lot of space and amenities for a great price and I would stay here again if ever back in the area.

The home was perfectly relaxing. No neighbors' homes were visible from the back yard unless you looked for them. Deer came by the house almost every night while we sat at the fire. The fire pit was epic to have fresh oysters and wine at under the starry sky. The kitchen was very roomy and had modern appliances but a few more cooking utensils would have been nice. It still managed to make some stellar meals with fresh fish from Parsons. The laundry machines are modern and worked well. The upstairs loft gets very hot but if you crack the skylight a bit it makes it comfortable. If you are a little more elderly or rickety when you wake up in the morning, be warned there is a spiral staircase from the loft down to the living area/bathroom. Luis was attentive to all our questions. Checkin was easy. The location is great and centralized for getting into Mount Desert Island, nearby Ellsworth for groceries, and the rest of Maine. All in all we loved the place and we wished we could have stayed longer.

Absolutely amazing!!

We couldn't have asked for a better experience at this cozy rental. All amenities were provided and the atmosphere was beyond relaxing! The owner really thought of everything you would ever need. This is by far our favorite rental using Vrbo. We definitely plan to return in the future.

Perfect honeymoon destination

The cabin is cozy for a couple. New kitchen amenities and a wonderfully powerful jacuzzi bathtub. Deer frequent the area and the lush scenery is breathtaking. Close to Bar Harbor and Acadia with plenty to do and see in between.
