Worth the hike

Great location near the piazza and town bells. Bit of a hike to get there each day-but that way you burn off all the pasta and focaccia you eat. Eat near the apartment and avoid eating down near the busy tourist areas. We had better food up higher in Manarola compared to lower.

Wish we could stay longer!

So beautiful! Location is perfect ! communication was fantastico! We appreciated the extra blankets, and comforts of home. Hope we can return and we'll definitely lick this place up again! Molto Benne!

Wonderful stay!

We thoroughly enjoyed staying here! The communication was clear and continual. We were provided with accurate and timely information and they were quick to answer our questions. The property is near the top of the town, which gives you wonderful views. There are a lot of steps, which they clearly note in the listing and confirm with you when you book. The property is classic Cinque Terre and was clean and neat. It is located next to a church and a bell tower, but the bells added to the experience! We would definitely stay again.

Convenient location to visit Manarola

We had a wonderful time visiting Cinque Terre. The property was in a good location and the property manager was very helpful with check in, directions and parking arrangements. The house was clean and as described. The only upgrade I would mention was the futon in the kitchen needs replacement and the furniture on the upstairs porch needs repair.

Great place, cute town

Clean apartment on two floors. It is located at the top of a building on top of a hill, I wouldn't recommend for anyone with difficulty climbing stairs (but pretty much everything in Cinque Terre is stairs/hills). Checkin process was quick and easy (we arrived during business hours). There is a fair amount of street noise with the windows open, so bring earplugs if you are sensitive to that. Manarola is a beautiful town, touristy during the day but much more relaxed in the evening/night - I'd highly recommend the town and this rental for Cinque Terre hikers!

Awesome View

You need to check in at a shop in town, close to the train station. They will check your bags (for a small fee). From the shop, it’s a hefty climb up the hill to the apartment, and then the apartment is on the third and fourth floor. The apartment is well equipped and there a supermarket nearby with everything you might need. Very airy, with windows on three sides with great views.

Beautiful Town

We greatly enjoyed our stay!! The views were beautiful and we enjoyed sitting on the patio. Lots of windows and a nice breeze kept the apartment comfortable, and we didn't need the air conditioners every night. When needed, the air conditioners both worked great, but one bedroom did not have one, only a fan (with a mist system). Be prepared for hills and stairs, in all of Cinque Terre. I had been worried about the clock tower bonging, but it does NOT ring in the night. I wish we had more days here!

superschöne Lage

Wir finden, dass Manarola das schönste der Dorf der Cinque Terre ist. Die Lage ist super: oben im Dorf etwas abseits des Rummels. Beim Frühstück am Morgen auf der Terrasse im Dachgeschoss hat man seine Ruhe und blickt auf den Domplatz ehe die Besucherströme kommen. Oder am Abend bei einem Glas Wein mit Blick zum Meer und zu den Weinbergterrassen. Nur 4 Punkte, da die Wohnung nach Schweizer Standards nicht ganz blitzblank sauber war.

Excellent Location in Small Town

We had a great 3 days in Manarola. Everything was pretty much as advertised; lots of steps, but you wake up to bell tower next door and a great view. We enjoyed that. Most things worked as expected, heat is noisy but that seemed like part of the charm of this old building. Definitely needs a new futon/couch upstairs (it has lived a nice long life); would have given five stars otherwise. With bad weather the only place to sit was in the kitchen chairs at the table. Excellent outdoor patio space to watch people come and go all day long. Quick walk to everything in town and what a neat place to explore day or night. Nice people checked us in and out. We would stay here again if in Cinque Terre area.
