Absolutely beautiful home in a quiet neighborhood, but close to shops, restaurants and three blocks to the tram station. Host Aude-Marie and her husband Mathieu had very prompt communication with us. Aude-Marie met us at the house when we arrived. She gave us a tour of the house and a map to the city. Her recommendations for shops and restaurants nearby was very helpful. Loved the high ceilings and big windows with lots of natural light. Kitchen was well equipped, including a dishwasher. Loved the washer and dryer! Showers and bathrooms all updated. The house is as pictured. The staircase is wider than it looks which was nice. There are two flights of stairs so not well suited for guests with mobility issues. Overall a 10 ! Look forward to returning!

Quick trip to Bordeaux

Very nice property perfectly located in Bordeaux. Close to the tram, shops, cafés and restaurants. Owner is very quick to answer any questions. Would definitely stay here next time.

Ideal location, vintage charm

This beautiful home was perfect for our family of 5 adults to explore Bordeaux for the first time. Matthieu was helpful with advice on travel plans, restaurants, shops and sights. Easy walking distance from excellent restaurants and shops, close to tram too. Would not hesitate to stay here again.

Lovely home very close to tram station

The hosts were super responsive and made check in/check out very easy. The location was convenient to the tram station and getting around was easy. The property was comfortable and clean. Having a washer/dryer was also great!!

Great property

Such great hosts that were very responsive before and during the trip. Even gave us a map with suggestions of city highlights. Beds comfortable and property as described on website. Good location near a beautiful park. Not a place for individuals with challenges on steps or small children. Would definitely stay there again

Prime location, "bohemian decor" heaven, best hosts!

My husband and I enthusiastically recommend a stay at this Bordeaux townhouse. Aude-Marie was an extraordinary host, taking about an hour to introduce us to the features of the house, and most importantly giving us invaluable information on Bordeaux, complete with annotated maps. Awesome! The neighborhood seemed extremely safe, with lots of families. The home was only a block from the gorgeous public garden. The townhouse was built in the late 1800s, and is obviously a portion of what was once a grand mansion. Your hosts have lovingly crafted a three bedroom dwelling within the restrictions of the old building. As noted in other reviews, it is on three high-ceilinged levels, connected by a lovely spiral staircase. Take note if you have mobility issues or if this would be an issue for children in your group. As noted in other reviews, each toilet is in a separate little room of its own. The one for which it's impossible to shut the door was not a problem for us, as it opens into a small hallway of which the doors can be shut at either end. I loved the hosts' aesthetic, mixing the bones of the old house with eclectic furnishings. Great modern bath fittings, lovely bedding, art on the walls reflecting the best of Bordeaux. The hosts even arranged neighborhood parking for us for a small fee.

Perfect for a long weekend

Ideal location near the beautiful park and short easy walk to the tram. The house is very comfortable with stylish mix of modern decoration and period features. Two excellent shower rooms. Two toilets but the second one is very small. The local area has loads of good bars and restaurants. The hosts were very helpful and welcoming and took the time to give us some great tips on things to see and do. Thank you for a great stay!

Appartement qui a beaucoup de charme

Appartement très joli, situé à 2 pas du parc. Nous n'avons juste pas eu de chance avec quelques travaux proches mais à part cela tout s'est très bien déroulé. Les propriétaires ont été réactifs.

Great House, Conveniently Located

The house was just like the pictures, well outfitted and conveniently located to central Bordeaux via foot, tram and bus. There were nearby shops and restaurants. The owners were very responsive before and during the trip, and very helpful with recommendations and general guidance. We'll certainly look to stay here again the next time we visit Bordeaux.

excellent moment de découverte de Bordeaux en famille

La maison est très bien située et la déco sympa. La propriétaire est charmante, arrangeante et honnête. Le quartier est chaleureux et pour ceux qui aiment marcher un peu, la découverte de la ville peut se faire à pieds, ce qui a enchanté nos ados, ravis de pouvoir être autonomes !

Week-end cousines à Bordeaux

très bien placé dans Bordeaux, y compris avec une voiture à garer. A éviter pour bébés qui apprennent à marcher (beaucoup d'escaliers). Très bons équipements avec la toute nouvelle machine à laver juste installée. Nous essaierons de revenir.

Beautiful house in a great neighborhood!

What a lovely home to have in Bordeaux. Elegant touches everywhere, but all the conveniences for us to relax and cook. Fantastic master bathroom. Wonderful neighborhood for walking, sightseeing, and making use of the tram. And our hostess was absolutely charming, and extremely helpful. She made this e periwnce much better!

Great Find

This property is in a wonderful location. Walking distance to much of what Bordeaux has to offer. The house is very nice. We enjoyed our five nights there.
