NP visitors

We loved our stay at this home. We were able to easily drive to the 3 big National Parks while we stayed. Vons grocery store is not far and a wonderful place to shop. We enjoyed the home and felt comfortable during our stay.

Comfortable house in a quiet location

We stayed here once before, and it was great both times! Spacious and well-equipped, super comfortable, and at the end of a quiet street. We'll definitely be back.

Nice place to stay at.

We enjoyed our stay. Quiet neighborhood. There was enough room for us to stay at. Great location to the Sequoia park, Kings canyon, Yosemite, 3 hour drive to L.A. and San Francisco just a great location. Really liked the communication and friendliness of the host.

Wonderful spacious home

Gathered for an annual family time in Central CA. Very relaxing atmosphere and super close to Kings Canyon. We visited Cat Haven too- very fun.

Perfect place to relax and enjoy the parks and Fresno

My family of six enjoyed our stay with plenty of space for us. The fruit trees were beautiful with fresh ripe fruit during our stay. I can’t say enough about the property.

Nice home

This house provided plenty of space for 4 adults and two small children. The checkin process was easy with very responsive communication with the host. Good spot for weekend getaway to the national parks.

Visit to National Parks

We enjoyed our stay. The house was as advertised. It was clean and kitchen was well stocked. It was very convenient to have washer and dryer available after visiting both Sequoia and Yosemite. The house is pretty centrally located between both.

Perfect Home Base

This was a perfect place for our family of 4 to use as our Home Base to visit Yosemite, Sequoia, and Kings Canyon National Parks. It's at the end of a quiet street and was extremely clean, well-equipped, and spacious. If you are ever in the Fresno area, I highly recommend this property.

Perfect location for seeing parks

We wanted to do day trips to Sequoia and Yosemite and this place was perfectly set right in between the two. It was about an hour and a half/two hours to each of them. The host was helpful and communicative. Their list of recommended restaurants was great. Thanks for helping make a great start to our trip!

The absolute best place to stay if you have a family looking for a safe, scenic spot to enjoy the Fresno area. This house was perfect in every sense of the word for what we needed. Located on a dead end road, close to our friends we came to visit, close to good eateries, as well as gas and grocery. The sunrise over the mountains and the sunsets over the pond, all from the front porch. Somehow the view in the front yard made the stars look bigger at night. This will always be the home that made us want to move to Fresno!!

We had a nice stay at this property and visited all the surrounding National Parks was a good location for visiting both Yosemite and Sequoia National parks also Drove to San Francisco for a visit to Alcatraz. The property was very clean and as stated in ad. The only issue was the automatic door lock got stuck often

Basecamp

This was a quiet, rural property which works for us. The owners were always in touch, we had a great time. This was a great base for our explorations of the national parks. We checked off 4 from this location . Those were parks 30-33 for us! I highly recommend this property.

Park vaction

We came with a family of 7 to visit several national parks. Chose a location that was fairly centralized to all of them. The house was in a quiet street and easy to get to things around town. Easy to communicate with host. No issues.

Perfect!

We were in town for our son's wedding. The property was exactly as advertised. It's a beautiful, comfortable home. Everything you need for cooking is there, plus coffee and beer! We didn't have any children with us, but noted that there was everything there for a baby, and several outdoor games for kids. Lovely!

Two Nightspot

We stopped for two nights at this little jewel. The house was so clean and very accommodating for two families to stay in while we visited Sequoia National Park and Kings Canyon National Park. We had everything we needed during our stay. The fruit trees in the front yard are great bonus that we enjoyed very much. The owner left us a basket of fruit and waters in fridge (thank you) The stay was pretty close to perfect, it just needs some softer mattresses.

Handy House

We chose it for being relatively close to Yosemite and Sequoia parks, and our three day stay was very comfortable. We did no cooking, but liked how well equipped the kitchen was, and did appreciate coffee machine and fixings. I’d book this place again to do some things in Fresno— Farmers Markets** being one of them and also the Forestiere Underground Gardens. (**Cooking with truly farm fresh produce would be a delight!) We knew the home had a washer and dryer, so we were able to pack light for our plane trip. Good stay!

Mostly decent

Overall, the place was fine. It had everything we needed for a home base while we explored the parks. The back patio was unusable however. The table and chairs were pretty gross. The neighborhood was ok, although it's not really walkable, especially at night. However like I said it met our needs just fine.

Easiest process ever

The owner communication was superb!!! The house was in excellent condition. They offered some of the essentials like laundry soap, coffee, and initial cold drinks in the fridge. The owner communicated with us promptly during the stay. I am definykeeping this in my favorites to visit again.

Just Wonderful!!

This place was even more lovely than we anticipated! Besides for the hosts being SUPER flexible, accommodating and easily available, this house has everything in it to make a vacation memorable! This place is just as spacious as the pictures make it seem it's FULLY stocked and so kid friendly. Our experience surpassed our imagination and we would definitely recommend this place to family and friends.

Beautiful house in a central location to 3 National Parks!

We loved staying in this lovely house for our vacation. We sat on the front porch to watch the sunsets and the side patio to watch the moon rising (we were there for the Strawberry Super Moon!), enjoying the cool breeze and watching the bunnies, squirrels and birds. The central location to Sequoia, Kings Canyon and Yosemite National Parks was great, and even though it's out of town and quiet, it was close enough to Sanger and Fresno for whatever you might need. The kitchen was well-appointed with everything we needed, the beds were comfortable, and having Netflix available was a plus. The only time we had to contact the owner was to get the current password for the WiFi and the response was immediate. I would definitely recommend staying at this great home away from home!

Located in the country but also close to grocery stores, restaurants and near highway 180 with easy access to anything in Fresno.

Fifteen minutes to Fresno Chaffee Zoo, Wild Water Adventures, Woodward Park, Foriestere Underground Gardens (a one of a kind experience), Old Town Clovis, Tower District, Savemart Center, and Downtown Fresno.

Yosemite & Kings Canyon/Sequoia
Only one hour to the gates of Yosemite and Kings Canyon, Sequoia National Parks. Our Vacation Rental is the perfect "home base" for all of your adventures to the surrounding parks.

Skiing
We are also an hour and a half to China Peak Ski Resort

Nearby Lakes
Millerton Lake and Pine Flat are only 30 minutes away, Bass Lake and Shaver Lake are an hour away.

Local Wineries
Kings River Winery, Oak View Winery, Marechal Winery, and Cedar View Winery, are wonderful and offer wine tasting on the weekends. They are within 10 minutes of the house.

Fruit Stands
Two seasonal fruit stands are within 5 minutes of the house.
