We stayed in the penthouse on the top floor with a family of 4 (kids 4 and 5 years old), grandparents, and aunt (7 people total) and there was plenty of space to spread out and enjoy. One of the bedrooms went completely unused during our stay which shows how much space this place offers. The beach was good, a little rocky directly in front, but good for surfing and snorkeling. About 30 seconds walk down the beach is a much more sandy area where rocks are not a concern. A great spot for food is only a 30 second walk in the other direction and the harbor 30 seconds further. You can take boat trips from here easily for fishing, whale watching, Marietas islands, etc. The town is very close (only another minute or two walk) with lots of great choices for restaurants and some souvenir shopping.
We’ve stayed at many resorts in Mexico on both coasts and this was one of the best trips we’ve had. Very comfortable, beach isn’t busy, just a great laid back vacation. There’s a good chance this location could become a yearly spot for me and my family.
