Nick spent several days at Can XERA, enjoying the house, the sunshine, the peaceful surroundings, the nature, and wonderful moments with friends. It was a pleasure to have him as our guest. We highly recommend him and would be delighted to welcome him back again in the future. Montse

For the first time I am due to reply to a contradictory and indescribable comment and then it is also the first time that my property is poorly and wrongly described forgetting all the facilities,and presumably manipulating and falsifying reality.To start answering Mrs Nicole comment,I have to reveal the message that Mrs.Elisabeth sent us when she and her husband left: “Thank you for everything.We've had a great time in Amer/Girona and the pool here has been fabulous! We are leaving early tomorrow (6am).Thanks again”.We personally welcomed Mrs. Nicole and her family,and after all the explanations and having visited all the area neither her nor the other visitors, did not object anything,and it was two days later,when she had to pay her part of the stay,that the question arose. Suggesting the sleeping area was dark, means to ignore that at first,Ancient houses do not have big windows because of tax and security problems mainly, a fact we had already told.But the windows are much bigger than the traditional ones and the former house was built around 1707 and in the recent 2008 restoration maintained carefully, rigorously and scrupulously the original structure.But the house has light all day, since it is a rooftops building, and the sun touches all four facades with blind curtains in every window.One of the house advantages is that being old thick walls, in winter they can keep the heat, and in summer they do not allow to enter the intense heat and keep the natural freshness.The house does not have at all any moisture and does not smell musty,that was the other question.Otherwise the house would not have counted on the essential Certificate of Occupancy and never the official authorization to develop the hotel and touristic business.As our report says,"if not happy,we will refund the money",we coherently offered Mrs.Nicole to refund her the amount already paid and revoke and terminate the contract.When Mrs.Nicole, opted to stay, she haggled her part of the price, (the Hauler family had already paid), we understood the problem: somehow she did not want to pay all,what truly meant,it had nothing to do with conditions and facilities of the house.The contradiction comes when she paid the amount agreed on the contract,and at the end of the holidays she gave a tip to the house worker.Then we cannot recommend Mrs.Nicole,since her family turned out to be very problematic and quite impolite and they left the house very untidy and pretty dirty,as well.
