Surrounded by towering trees and just a short stroll from Lake Michigan, this cozy retreat blends rustic charm with modern comfort.

Inside, the knotty pine interior and lofted ceilings create a warm, inviting atmosphere. Curl up by the stunning two-story fieldstone fireplace, unwind on the screened-in patio, or gather around the backyard fire pit table under the stars. The cottage has been thoughtfully updated with central air conditioning, ensuring a comfortable stay in any season.

Explore gentle trails leading to the lake, where you might spot deer sipping from the creek or catch a breathtaking sunset over the water. Whether you're looking to relax in nature or explore nearby attractions like Indiana Dunes and Michigan’s Harbor Country, this peaceful getaway is the perfect escape.

We kindly request that guests refrain from hosting large parties or family gatherings out of respect for the neighboring homeowners, many of whom reside here year-round. By fostering a sense of harmony and consideration, we can ensure that everyone enjoys a peaceful and rejuvenating stay.

This property is well-maintained and equipped for the comfort and convenience of our guests. Our vacation rentals include well-equipped kitchens, living, and dining areas. Linens and towels are provided. Homes have washers and dryers, a dishwasher, central heat and air conditioning, cable/satellite television, DVD players, and high-speed Internet service.

We ask that renters bring condiments, dishwasher soap, laundry soap, extra toilet paper, and convenience items like plastic wrap, aluminum foil, and zip-lock bags. We do not resupply anything during the stay. We provide two rolls of toilet paper in each bathroom, 2 rolls of paper towels, 4 garbage bags, and hand soap in each bathroom so plan according to your needs.

This property is Dog-friendly. A non-refundable fee per stay, per dog ( 2 dog max) is assessed during the booking process.

Minimum Age Limit for Renters: The guest signing the rental agreement/contract must be 30 years of age or older (ID at check-in required) and must be responsible for the group during the entire time of the stay.

Maximum occupancy restrictions: The number of guests at any WAYA-managed property can not exceed the maximum occupancy number (or sleeps number). This includes invited guests, friends, or additional family members. Events, parties, or family gatherings are not permitted without express written permission prior to booking.
