Fantastic mountain cabin

Great mountain home - very private setting, with great views. Easy to find, close to everything, and with the quintessential a North Carolina mountain view. Comfortable space and well-equipped. Hosts are easy to communicate with and very accommodating. Hope to return!

Wonderful Getaway!

A well appointed cute house far enough away from everything to be very relaxing yet still close enough (15 minutes) from town if you need to venture out. The views are great! The house is comfortable and is stocked with the normal stuff you'd need for a vacation. The fire pit was quite enjoyable on our last night up on the mountain. The kitchen worked well for Thanksgiving dinner. Definitely a trip we'd take again. The owners were very easy to work with and communication was easy.

Great family getaway !

My family and I ( including two kids one 3 and one 8 the latter with mobility issues) were beyond comfortable in this lovely cabin! The property is clean, cozy and has all the conveniences of home. We enjoyed the wrap around porch, fire pit and even saw some friendly deer during our stay. I couldn’t have asked for more- we will book again :)

Great Getaway

Outstanding View

The view is the real attraction at this nicely appointed home in the Appalachian mountains outside Boone, NC. And the view is spectacular - of the ridge in the distance, Grandfather Mountain off to one side and the fog that fills the valley below. But there are other reasons to rent from the owners of this mountain cabin. When we couldn’t figure out the TV, the owner invited us to call and follow directions. When that didn’t work, a technician arrived in less than 2 hours. The kitchen is well-appointed with most of what you need to cook here. The living room is comfortable, and the A-frame windows provide the view when seated on the large sofa or at the dining room table. As others have said, the .7 mile road is gravel and steep. So be prepared for that.

Week working and hiking

My husband, friend and I stayed for ten days to work, hike and relax. We had an amazing time. House is full of light and views in all directions, very comfy beds, chairs, and well-stocked kitchen. Great wifi and LTE too. Communication was seamless.

Overall a lovely spot to spend an October weekend

Our family definitely enjoyed our time in the mountains. This property had amazing views. It was very clean - the full bed was a bit undesirable and it could have used more casual seating on the front porch - but overall the spot treated us well. We ended up spending a lot of time in Banner Elk and Valle Crucis; not many hikes nearby except for Laure Creek Falls (which was amazing). Access to Boone was quick and downtown Boone was lovely. Cute spot if you are looking to get away from it all.

Beautiful views!

We had a very relaxing stay at this property. The views are beautiful and the peace and quiet was a wonderful escape. The road to the cabin is a little tricky...not unexpected, but definitely an adventure! Thanks to the owners for sharing your little piece of heaven.

Kings Cove getaway

We were looking for a place to meet up with our family, hang out and relax. The Kings Cove met all of our needs and was an enjoyable part of our trip to Boone, NC. Lauren gave us great input before our stay...and was very helpful during our stay. And if you like to enjoy nature...this is the place to do that. Wonderful cabin and wonderful hosts!

Wonderful mountain getaway!

The view was fantastic and we spent half our time out on the well maintained deck. The house had all the amenities we needed including good wifi. We appreciated the fact that it was very convenient to get into Boone and nearby hikes. We would definitely stay here again!

What curve

Great location for peace and quiet. The house was well appointed and well stocked. Lauren was extremely quick to respond to any question. Wifi is superb at the house. Boone close by for dining or shoping. Ingles is closest grocery store. King St in Boone was very busy with traffic and we opted to go around on sr150. The road to the house is interesting. Saw lots of deer. Highly recommend this host and there property.

Incredible Views!

We so enjoyed our stay at Kings Cove. The home is very tasteful and the kitchen is well appointed with everything you would need! The surrounding woods are abundant with wildlife! We did so much exploring, Boone, Grandfather Mountain, Blowing Rock, Woolly Worm Festival , Antiquing & Gem Mining. The area is so beautiful this time of year with the fall colors. We ate at Carolina Pizza & the Local in Boone both were very good. The Cellar in Blowing Rock was outstanding ! Can’t wait to come back and highly reccomend staying at King’s Cove!!!

Gorgeous Views

This property has the most gorgeous views!! The front deck faces the Blue Ridge Mountains, and you will not be disappointed by the view. My friend and I enjoyed painting our canvases while watching clouds move over the mountains, and hummingbirds coming and going on the deck. The decor is really cute, modern farmhouse style. Love how secluded it is. Highly recommend! Lauren was great to work with! Had a great time!

Convenient location to Boone yet secluded

My wife and I feel lucky to have found this place with so many rentals to choose from in the area. It was perfect, quiet and secluded. We were able to relax and enjoy the simple pleasures of life. She literally sat for hours on the deck watching the hummingbirds. We also saw wild turkey and deer on the property. The views were amazing! The pictures don’t do it justice. When I did have to do some business, the AT&T cell coverage was excellent at the house. We will definitely come back!

Perfect Relaxing Getaway!

This mountain cabin is so cozy and has the most amazing views!! My boyfriend and I stayed here for my birthday weekend and it was much needed! This cabin would be great to go up with a few other couples since it has 3 bedrooms! The king bed was so amazing, I slept like a baby on the tempurpedic mattress. Don’t even get me started on the deck! It was so nice to be able to go out on the deck with my cup of coffee in the morning and listen to the sounds of nature! Definitely recommend this for anyone wanting to have a secluded relaxing getaway.
