We Loved this location and the Pools were amazing... On our block there were 3 pools.. On my Morning walk I discovered several other pools which was funto be able to choose a different location to swim and hangout in the sun

Annual Golf Trip

The property was perfect for our annual golf trip. Great pool location! The place was clean and comfortable for our 3 week stay. Utilized both courses during our stay.

Relaxing Stay in the Desert

Great location, we enjoyed the pool right across the street. Very easy check-in process and good communication with the owner. The patio was fantastic!

Enjoyed Palm Valley!

We found the Vrbo unit to be comfortable, well stocked, and clean, exactly as advertised. Access to the golf course was the highlight of the trip as we played many rounds while there.

Great Desert Getaway

Wonderful location in a gated community with quiet pool right across the street! Great communication with the owner. Very easy check-in process with very detailed information!

Golf adventure

Was traveling with golf buddies to play some golf courses in area. The course at our place turned out to be one of the nicest courses we end up playing! The house was great and Randy was very attentive to our needs thanks

Palm Desert Get-away

My husband and I just returned from a very relaxing stay at Randy and Nicole's condo. The condo is everything described and more. We enjoyed watching golfers tee-off from the green, and visiting the multiple pools. There are several shops and restaurants within a short easy drive. This was our first time staying in a gated country club setting and it was lovely. My only regret is we needed to return home! Would definitely stay again.

Worst VRBO experience ever...

We will try not to exaggerate, but no garage available as locked with owner's property (listing didn't mention "no garage" and was misleading if not dishonest) for the first time in ten stays at Palm Valley CC. Car parked outside and temperature rose to 125 degrees inside, steering wheel too hot to touch, unload golf clubs etc. after each drive as parking not secure. Men's undershorts in MB dresser !*, TV inoperable as directions very technical, out of date and new equipment didn't match,* needs PIN* we didn't have although we have same cable channels at home on Orange County, MB shower inoperable, * set screw backed out and no tools available, maybe in locked garage*, owner said we broke the shower ! For long time VRBO customers and many times in Palm Valley CC it was literally unbelievable. Asterisk indicates photographs available.

Very comfortable and well appointed condo in golf club setting.

My husband and I and adult daughter visited Randy’s 2BR 2 BA condo for a week in a golf/country club setting in North Palm Desert for an unplanned end of summer season Birthday getaway. The condo was clean, very well stocked and the king beds were comfortable. Fans and AC worked well, pool was perhaps twelve giant steps away across the street. We didn’t use the community assets but they looked very nice and were quite nearby this condo’s location. Our daughter had to work remotely during the day and the WiFi was robust. The “front” living room gave her a nice space to do that apart from our other activities in the condo. When a couple of questions arose about working the electronics Randy was responsive and quite helpful. The location of this country club condo allows access to all the desert vacation community has to offer. The view of the 18 hole activity was pleasant and wind in the palm tree fronds night was exotic to listen to. At this time of the year, all Desert locations are ramping up for the return of both visitors and snowbirds and there was lots of gardener and prepping activity, but it happened in short bursts and all were very courteous as we walked the Country Club drives. Thank you, Randy for a very put together restful vacation spot.

This was our experience

Nice home with great layout and furniture. Beautiful country club setting, great patios and views. Quiet location. Parking on drive for 2 cars. Owner reimbursed us for items not in home or in need of replacement as we were there for 28 days. Cleaned the front door and screens due to the build up of sand and dirt causing an odor. Vents in bath ceilings had a build up of dirt all around them. Did not take long to do; however cleaning company should have noticed this. Main concern was that the bathrooms were not maintained. Shortly after check in we asked if a plumber would check handles on both showers that were difficult and stiff to use. The owner said he did not see the need for taking action as they were functional. One week later the shower handle in second bath came off and we could not place it back on. The plumber replaced the cartridge and suggested that we not use the shower in the master bath (which we did not use for the rest of our stay) since the valve could break at any time. We were fine with using the second bath and sleeping in the master bed as it was only the two of us.

Not what was expected

I based my decision to rent this property in a gated country club community from the VRBO description and photos. What I found was much different: ~Overflowing trash & recycling bins, steps from the front door ~The cleaner was still there after 3:00; the washer/dryer continued to run after she left, leaving me to complete the loads ~Cigarette and cigar butts filled the ashtray on sand covered patio ~Master bathroom-broken fan & shower light; closed tub stopper, trapping inches of dirty water; porcelain sinks had large chips; one faucet didn’t work-no water ~Second bathroom-chipped porcelain sink; broken cabinet door; filthy shower pan Because of these major issues plus several other smaller concerns, I vacated the property two hours later to stay with family in the same neighborhood. I contacted the homeowner, providing pictures and a written letter with my concerns. His response was the sinks were scheduled for repair and the cleaning crew would do a “thorough redo on cleaning” and would let me know when it was done, which he didn’t do. I’ve rented villas in other resorts for over thirty years and have never encountered these conditions. Since I remained with family for the two weeks I requested a reimbursement from the owner. He stated he wouldn’t because they were “fixable issues.” This is the first time I have used VRBO, and because of this experience I will not use this company ever again.

We can’t wait to come back!

Listing exactly as described and pictured! We loved the unit and its location on the 18th tee and across the street from the pool/hot tub. We watched golfers tee off in the morning and enjoy the pool all day. The community itself is centrally located in Palm Desert and a short drive from the local grocery store. The neighbors were so friendly and nice. We’re already planning our next trip back.

Relaxing Desert Getaway

This property is great for 2 people; lots of room and amenities. It has 2 double beds. The condo is very clean, and the pool and jacuzzi across the street are the best. The owner was prompt in communicating regarding our needs. The garage was not available for our car but we found a shady spot to park down the street. .

Great Escape
