Girls Golf/Shopping Trip

Everything was perfect! The house was beautifully decorated and had everything we needed. We loved the location being so close to the beach. The house was very spacious and the bedrooms were large. We definitely want to come back for a longer stay!

Great stay!!

We stayed at Emmeline cottage previously and were so disappointed. Everyone needs to know the new owners have removed the gross carpet upstairs, updated things and the house is so much cleaner! We had a wonderful stay and the house has everything you could need. Multiple coffee pots, awesome stocked kitchen, lots of beach towels and bikes. We had a blast!! Perfect spot for a big family gathering, we will be back!

Amazing location and views!

We had a wonderful time at this home. The beach is right out the door. The pool is as well, it was a busy Easter week and having the porch and roof deck to hang while watching the action was fantastic. This would be a fabulous place for kids too! House a little worn in places, upstairs carpet and downstairs couch but otherwise a lovely home with all amenities thought of including beach chairs!

Emmeline is Divine!

We had a fantastic stay at the Emmeline Cottage and look forward to our next visit. A couple of items to note is that there is no pantry storage so if you plan on eating in you will need to be creative on finding places for storage. Realizing that oceanfront homes are very difficult to maintain on the exteriors, I would point out there that was some deferred maintenance needed on the exterior trellis, patios, etc... mostly peeling paint but some rotted wood and pressure washing that would help spiff up the extior.

Thanksgiving family reunion

I was hoping that this rental property would provide a beautiful setting for my family to gather for Thanksgiving (it did!). I hoped the pool would be warm when heated during the holiday week so we could still use it in late November (it was!). I hoped my family who flew in from across the country, even from San Francisco, would find it a worthwhile destination (they did). I hoped the charm of the rooms, decor, and design would provide a setting for wonderful memories (yes!). I hoped the view of the beach would make even time in the house a special experience (the view was even better than I expected, and was visible from so many different bedrooms and decks and living areas of the house). I hoped access to the beach would be easy - it really was, even for grandparents and toddlers and teens. Totally glad we booked this rental and would do so again!

Lovely house but needs maintenance

The house needs a deep cleaning, treatment for bugs, new bed linens (hole in fitted sheet) door handles hard to lock due to age and exposure to salt air, burned out lightbulbs, AC is not adequate for the size of the house! I’ve lived in the south my entire life. In small and large houses. I have never had an issue heating or cooling any of those houses because they all had the correct size hvac. Beautiful house, great location but house has been neglected.

Home had a great ocean view, spacious and well equipped but requires maintenance to be a great value! Rain caused paths to ocean to be flooded with up to 6 inches of water and unreal mosquitoes that requires deep Woods Off.

Great house BUT...

Can't beat the look, the location or the view. The decorating is great for a rental home but some of the furniture and the carpets could use updating. We had a few minor problems but they were fixed immediately by the property management company. Our biggest beef was that there is only one medium size refrigerator for a 6 bedroom house. We only had 8 people for 4 nights...don't know what a house full of folks would do if staying a week. There is literally no place to keep drinks cold. The second biggest beef was the kitchen. It has a "choke point" right where all the action is...(coffee makers, silverware drawer, etc.) Otherwise, I would highly recommend this house.

Great location-but not able to access beach because of massive mosquito problem right on beach. Also wine cooler not working, ice machine was filthy and AC in BR with best view not working. All addressed by manager. House is well equipped in kitchen and for beach. House needs some updates- looks a little tired.

Summer vacation success

We had a wonderful time at Emmeline! Beautiful property and lovely accommodations. We’d stay again for sure. We had a few minor repairs that were required during our stay, and the property managers were so quick to fix and remedy our issues. Only recommendations for the future - additional refrigerator and additional storage for pantry items.

Simply outstanding all the way around!

Spectacularly beautiful property, and closest one to the pool and to the beach! Clean, well-kept, and luxurious. Our family of nine had plenty of room, and we enjoyed every minute of our stay! Our only regret was that we couldn’t stay a few days longer . . . . this time. But we definitely plan to return for a longer stay in the future!

Celebrating 50 years

The house was all one could ask for. The ocean front location adjacent to the pool was ideal. The weather was beautiful-intermittent rain not a problem-actually refreshing. Celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary with our family, children and grandchildren was most precious to us. These accommodations provided the perfect setting for us all. Thanks to Adam and Beth for their service.

Amazing break

We loved our time at this house...clean, comfortable, and such a great proximity to the beach. Sunrise & sunset just lovely from the top floor! If I had one complaint, and I truly only have one that is so minor it’s not even a big deal, but there is little to no space for dry foods, so end up completely stacking things on the counter. I say this only because big groups & families might find it a small drawback. Otherwise 99.9% amazing, awesome & wonderful!!! Loved it and fully hope to come back here someday!!
