Charming home near Glaze Meadow Rec Center

This house has a great floor plan and a very effective use of square footage. We love the proximity to the Glaze Meadow Rec Center. Very nice deck and plenty of space in the backyard.

Great house for families

We really enjoyed our stay. We love the location to the athletic center and pool. The only thing I think would make her stay better is that the master bedroom downstairs needs a new mattress. My husband and I ended up rotating nights sleep with the kids because the upstairs beds were much more pleasant on our backs

Great Family Rental in BBR

Classic BBR home — although a dated kitchen and some of the furniture has been swapped out since the original rental photos have been taken, the bathrooms are completely updated (x2) and the (x3) bedrooms were spacious enough. The wood fireplace was heavenly and they also provided both wood and bikes for us to use. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home.

Another very pleasant stay at this house

This is the second time that my family has stayed here with the last time being probably around 5 years ago. They made some improvements in the years since and we really enjoyed ourselves. Floor plan was very conducive to our needs and the location is fantastic being so close to the Glaze Meadow Rec Center. We recommend it highly!

Good option close to GM Pool

The proximity to the Glaze Meadow complex cannot be beat. The home is well equipped with comfortable furniture and beds. The only areas to improve upon would be the deck (I almost stepped through a loose board) and the outdoor seating. The chairs at the table are pretty darn uncomfortable. Other than that we were happy with our stay.

Great for extended family

Plenty of bedrooms. Only one shower but we made that work. Lots of firewood, snow shovel.that we used a lot on the front porch. Porch skylight was leaking and making a very treacherous ice patch outside the front door. Plenty of kitchen utensils and appliances. The living/dining area was very spacious for our Thanksgiving celebration.

Good location, house needs improvements

GM 129: Good location, the provided bikes and helmets definitely a plus. Fairly new carpets in the bedrooms and nice bathrooms. The bedrooms were fine, and good house layout. Good kitchen supplies, except for the old scratched non-stick Farberware fry pans which need to be replaced. The coffee maker did not work. No teaspoons, only tablespoons. F But after paying A LOT for five nights, no laundry or dishwasher detergent was supplied. I've rented at Black Butte for over 40 years and that's a first. And the check out instructions state starting a load of dishes and laundry - with what? The instructions for the TV are incorrect. They seem to be referring to another remote. Had to have tech people figure out a workaround for watching DVD's. The tile floors are scratched, stained, and always look dirty even when not. Lounge chairs are needed for the deck. We all decided we will not be returning to this house. The communication with Vacasa was good.

Holiday Get-away

We had a lovely time with family and friends. The house was laid out well for 2 families and plenty of amenities. Close to Glaze Meadow and right on the golf course. I would definitely stay here again. Thank you!

Hardly stunning

While it’s taken me several months to write this review due to disbelief and frustration, I wanted to share why I would never recommend this place to rent to anyone, at least while managed by Vacasa. Important details such as bat poop everywhere, horrible smell downstairs, flat tired bikes, lack of /or broken screens on the windows, locked door to deck upstairs, unusable television, broken lock on the front door, and multiple lightbulbs burnt out upon our arrival - specifically the most important light over the stairwell. While walking down the dark stairs on the first night of our two week vacation, my mother couldn’t see the final step above the landing and fell breaking her wrist and ankle. BBR medics came out documenting the fall and her condition but Vacasa not only failed to recognize this incident after I called to report it, but their communications to alert us to updates on any of the aforementioned issues were next to none. I’ve been staying in the ranch every year since 1991 and this was by far the worst experience we’ve ever had. Yes, the bathrooms were newly remodeled and the location was great. But do yourself a favor and skip this place. Not with the money or experience renting through Vacasa.
