Lovers Point a Brief Walk Away

One of the greatest locations on Monterey Bay, the White House is a chip shot from Lovers Point where you can swim, your children can play in the sand, or you can watch the surfers at their best. A brief walk in the other direction will take you to a gourmet bakery, the charming shops of Pacific Grove, and breakfast at one the many restaurants in the downtown village. If one is lucky, one might see a school of dolphins jumping in the bay while on a walk on the pathway that hugs the water. The bedrooms are comfortable and cozy and the nook that overlooks the street allows one to watch the passerby as they stroll with their dogs. All in all a wonderful getaway for those who love to see the crashing of the waves on Monterey Bay.

Great house—very clean, well-equipped, and the kitchen had everything we needed. The patio was the highlight, with a fire pit and an incredible view of Lovers Point. Highly recommend!

We just returned home from a five night stay at the White House in Pacific Grove where we were visiting for my daughter's wedding. Pacific Grove in general suited our needs well as we wanted a nice area for the other out of state guests to explore. Being so close to the water and a very easy walk to downtown was perfect. The home away from home was very clean, comfortable and spacious. We did little cooking of meals but I did notice that the kitchen was well stocked with cookware and amenities. We unfortunately had to deal with work right in front of the house by the utility company for a day and a half which greatly impacted parking and involved a planned power outage, but that was nothing the owners or managers could have avoided on our behalf. Kyle, the manager who was our key point of contact, was very responsive to our questions when needed. The beds were all very comfortable by all reports. One thing I want to mention is that the claw foot bathtub/shower in the upstairs bath could be a problem for some. The upstairs tub is quite high to step into and a couple of us mentioned feeling off balance while standing in the tub. However, there is always an option for anyone to shower in the walk in shower on the lower level.

Location is amazing! The garage space for parking is very convenient. The place is quiet and clean. Just a few steps from the beach and very close other great amenities in town. We would definitely stay here again!

Fantastic location and view. Nice beds. The kitchen could have a few more plates and dishes and possibly an extra blanket or two but otherwise very well appointed. Lots of space to hang out and visit. Would definitely return.

Great Location, Great view

The house itself is large, comfortable and has beautiful views of Lovers Point. There's great spaces to enjoy the views, our favorites were the window banquette seating area and the front deck with a fire pit table. The location is centrally located to PG downtown, the coastal trail is out the front door, Asilomar Beach and Monterey Aquarium are a short walk. Two Thumbs Up!

We stayed 2 nights with extended family of 6 adults. Sleeping accommodations were comfortable (1 adult on couch). Dinner on the deck with fire pit and view was a highlight. Great location to walk out to beach, shops and restaurants, and less than 2 miles to aquarium. Location on busy street had noise as would be expected, but not a problem for us. Responsiveness of management team when WIFI needed work was friendly and quick. Would definitely stay here again!

Perfect location. The house was great. Lots of places to sit both casual seating and tables and chairs for work and dining. Beds were comfortable and bathrooms were well equipped with plenty of towels and linens. We would definitely stay in The White House again.

Absolutely perfect location. A very comfortable floor plan, space, and accommodations. I fell in love with this place! The big window seat at the front of the house has my heart. And I was happy to spend a majority of our time there on the patio space out front, what a luxury to have a patio facing the ocean. Instant favorite, and a home I would confidently recommend.

Great location

The White House is the perfect location to walk to Monterey Aquarium, restaurants, stores, beautiful walks along the ocean. The place was very clean and the beds were all comfortable. The management staff was excellent to work with. The one suggestion I have is they need to outfit their kitchen better. They need more cooking pots & pans and utensils. It was very sparse on silverware, plates and glassware - they need to double what they stock. Also, rentals should have storage containers/bags. Should also supply basic seasonings which they did have a some. Other than the fact the kitchen needs to be much better stocked it was an excellent stay and would highly recommend it.

Delightful Stay, Comfortable, and Quality

We left saying that this may have been our best experience ever with a rental house! What a delightful weekend spent with our two families. We had everything we needed and couldn't have asked for a more wonderful location. Just steps away from Lovers Point, the coastal path, the beach, restaurants, and more. It was really nice to be able to park our car in the garage. The kitchen was well stocked and great to cook a nice meal in. The house is clearly cared for well. The beds were all extremely comfortable and clean. We will absolutely be back. Thank you!

Lovely Place to Stay

House is beautiful, well-maintained and appointed, and so relaxing with ocean views from many rooms. Watching the sunrise over the ocean was a morning delight. Bathrooms have heated floors, great showers and plenty of towels. Bedrooms have extra blankets and the king beds and pillows are quite comfortable. The kitchen is well-equipped if you want to cook. Location is a busy road, but the house is well-insulated. Honda CRV was an easy fit in the garage, but there is some street parking. There is nothing lacking on this property, we loved staying here and plan to come back next year.

Great location and beautiful home

This home was perfect for our vacation! The location is ideal and very walkable to shops and restaurants. The home was exactly as described in the listing. We loved sitting on the porch in the evenings and watching the sea lions go by in the ocean. We will definitely stay here again the next time we come!

Cozy, Comfortable & Beautiful Ocean View

I rented this cozy house for my son’s wedding in Carmel. It was perfect from an ocean view location to walking distance to the beach area and restaurants. The serene atmosphere was simply breathtaking. My family and I are looking forward to coming back again soon. Our host, Kyle was amazing and very accommodating.

Stayed here for my birthday in March with 3 girlfriends. We had the best time. House was perfect. Nothing beats an ocean view even while raining. Can’t wait to book again
