NEW BATHROOM RENOVATED IN NOVEMBER 2025

Old house for private use by tenants, 1,300 sq ft, sleeps 5/6. Enclosed garden (except small animals) of 1,700 sq ft facing south.

Newly equipped kitchen, renovated second living room, working fireplace, bathroom with bathtub and toilet.
High-speed WiFi, terrace, barbecue, garden furniture.

Shops, swimming pool, fishing, leisure center within a radius of 5 to 20 km.

End-of-stay cleaning included.

Sheets and towels optional (€25 double bed - €15 single bed).

Heating extra €20/unit (based on meter reading).

The 3 bedrooms and bathroom are located on the 1st floor, accessed via a staircase.
The 2 living rooms, kitchen and 1 separate toilet are on the ground floor

No arrivals after 8:00 p.m. out of respect for the person in charge of check-in.

We had very nice communication with the owner. Had been met as agreed by the site. Check in and out worked flawlessly. Great property, charming as in description. We had a great time and fully recommend it

Holiday may 2023

We really loved staying in this house. The pooltable was great! We spend several days in Paris and visit Étretat. Paris is an 1 hour drive and Étretat 1 hour and 50 minutes. The host speaks English and was very friendly.

GB: Splendid old house in beautiful and peaceful setting. More complete then description, all good stuff, nice filled cutlery drawer. WIFI works excellent. Washing machine is in the cellar, door from terrace. Cellar is low, floor mostly sand. There’s also a garden hose here. House was quite clean at arrival and well maintained for a French house. Bathroom is quite cramped. Chair and bed for baby are available. There´s also a lot of toys and books, alto they´re in French. 2xdouble-bed, 2xsingle-bed. Spacious bedrooms with enough closets for clothing etc. A very spacious garden with gravelled path for at least 5 cars. A variety of garden furniture. There’s always a place in the sun or shadow. Shed with some old (kids)bikes, table tennis, toys and space enough for your own bikes, roof box etc. Good and quick contact with the owner, he speaks good English and is customer friendly. He has given us info to travel to Paris: Train from Évreux. Contact with the ‘keyman’ was good too, his English a bit less, but sufficient. Big supermarket in Conches-en-Ouche, also an indoor playground (not visited) (15min.). An even bigger supermarket (Carrefour) in Évreux with other shops around (20min.). There’s also a nice (shopping)centre in this city. Chocolate museum in Damville is nice (Michel Cluizel). We’ve made a daytrip to Paris with 3 kids (0,2,4) by train and underground. And a daytrip to Caen and coast by car. Both very successful, a width baby car is a bit of an issue in de underground stations. Close-by is a little water stream, forest and grain fields. Nice scenery for car tours, cycling, mtb’ing, walking. There´s a horse ranch close-by (500m) to be visited, nice for the kids. With possibility to hire horses. Perhaps we’ll visit again, it was a big success.

Les vacances idéales

Nous avons passé de très bonnes vacances dans un lueu calme et reposant ou les hommes ont pu faire du vélo et du sport. Et les filles, farniente, lecture sur les transats. La maison est calme et il n'y a pas beaucoup de passage. Bien organisée et les livres ont fait le bonheur de mes enfants

Une maison bien située pour les balades. Au 1er étage manque de rénovation thermique et de la salle de bains. Cuisine bien équipée. Des jeux à disposition et des transats. Mais certains équipements de jardin et de cuisine sont inutilisables.

Schönes Ferienhaus - absolut empfehlenswert!!!

Wir hatten einen tollen Frankreich-Urlaub auch Dank des schönen Ferienhauses! Die Lage des Hauses, das gepflegte Grundstück mit dem großen, umzäunten Garten als auch das gesamte Interieur des Hauses hat uns sehr gut gefallen! Alles sehr gemütlich und durch das separate Billardzimmer auch eine nette Möglichkeit vor Ort, sich auch bei schlechtem Wetter zu beschäftigen. Man ist sehr ländlich gelegen, was wir ausgesprochen erholsam und entschleunigend fanden. Genau das haben wir gesucht und hier gefunden. Direkt vom Haus aus, gibt es diverse Möglichkeiten mit dem Hund schöne Spaziergänge zu machen! Auch der Empfang und Kontakt vor Ort, war sehr sympathisch und wir haben uns sofort sehr wohl und willkommen gefühlt! Noch ein kleiner Hinweis, die Treppe zu den Schlafräumen könnte für ältere oder geh-eingeschränkte Personen eine kleine Herausforderung darstellen, wir hatten damit jedoch keinerlei Probleme, auch nach einigen Flaschen Wein nicht! In 15 Minuten kann man mit dem Auto alles Wichtige problemlos erreichen, dazu zähle ich u.a. Supermarkt mit Tankmöglichkeit, Bäckereien, Restaurants, Metzgerei alles in Conches-en-Ouches gelegen und noch Vieles mehr. Das größte Kompliment was wir einer Unterkunft immer machen können ist, dass wir keine Sekunde zögern würden, das Ferienhaus erneut zu buchen! Uns hat es Allen super gut gefallen, daher empfehle ich dieses schöne Haus gerne weiter! Vielen Dank an Nicolas für den netten und unkomplizierten Buchungsvorgang und Schriftverkehr vorab.

Schönes Ferienhaus mit besonderer Atmosphäre

Älteres Ferienhaus, wunderschön gelegen, mit älterem Baumbestand. Sehr ruhige Lage, allerdings ohne Kfz kaum zu erreichen. Eingebettet in die lieblich Waldlandschaft der Normandie. Monets Garten in Giverny gut zu erreichen.

Gîte au calme, très bien équipé, jardin baigné de soleil, il y avait tout pour passer 3 jours en mode détente. Les enfants ont pu se dépenser dans le jardin (le petit toboggan a eu du succès) et les parents étaient à peu près sereins 😉 On conseillera le gîte !

Rural idyll

We were met by the owner's neighbour and shown around the property, which was spacious and comfortable for our family of four. We made good use of the kitchen facilities and produce from the garden, enjoying meals around the kitchen table. We made very good use of the pool table and board games in the evening and the garden in the daytime/early evening. We would recommend this property to couples or families for socialising and entertaining young children. We really enjoyed our stay!

Für Leute, die Abgeschiedenheit und Ruhe lieben, ist das der richtige Ort. Hier kann man jedem Trubel entfliehen. Das Haus ist ideal für Rad - und Wanderbegeisterte. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt, es hat uns an nichts gefehlt und unser Hund hatte viel Bewegungsfreiheit in dem großen Garten.

Excellent séjour de 10 jours

Nous étions 4 adultes du 10 au 20 avril 2022. Nous avons passé un séjour formidable et le beau temps était de la partie. Le gîte est dans la verdure et le calme, ce que nous recherchions et nous avons fait de belles balades. Le gîte est proche d'Evreux et autres petites villes très agréables. Nous avons été jusqu'à Giverny (maison et jardins de Claude Monet). Notre plus grand trajet a été de 1h30 aller à Etretat où nous avons passé une journée magnifique. Voilà pour les idées de sorties. il ne manquait rien dans ce gîte, billard, ping-pong, fléchettes. A l'intérieur on se sentait très bien, maison chaleureuse. Bon accueil du Mr qui nous a réceptionné et communication sympatique par message avec le propriétaire.

Maison charmante et confortable

Ce fut notre second séjour dans cette jolie maison au cœur d’un hameau bordé de champs et de forêts. Cette jolie maison normande est très agréable et nous apprécions particulièrement les soirées au coin du feu dans le charmant salon. La cuisine est conviviale et possède tout l’équipement pour préparer des bons repas en famille. Nous espérons y revenir prochainement.

Très bon séjour

L'espace, la verdure, le calme... Le fait que c'est à 1h30 de Paris seulement (voir 1h si ça roule bien). Les courses à 15 minutes ou en livraison par Carrefour. Des balades ou cours montée chevaux juste à coté. Très bonne expérience en famille.
