Jack, the host was fantastic! We were visiting this area for our son's wedding and used this beautiful house as my family's home for a long weekend. During the 3 nights we were there, we were able to enjoy the views, the hot tub and even had time to read on the dock before rehearsal dinner. Amazing!
A few ducks that joined me while I read on the floating dock.

Kitchen was fully furnished and spacious for cooking. Loved the open space for living and dining with family. Plenty of rooms for sleeping, very comfortable. Ability to use our sons boat was a bonus! Had evening fires and enjoyed our stay. We will be back!!!

We were three couples staying for a long weekend, and we found the house to be roomy, light-filled, peaceful, well-stocked with kitchen items and paper goods, and in a lovely setting. Two minor disappointments – the lack of a closet or clothes rack in the basement master bedroom, and finding a full-size bed in the second bedroom upstairs, instead of the queen-sized bed described online.Those things aside, however, we all enjoyed our stay.

Didn’t use the hot tub. Perfect for our little chihuahua! Plenty of room/bathrooms for everyone. Perfect for our family of eight. Our teen aged granddaughter was thrilled that she had her own bedroom. Our eight year old granddaughter liked the puzzles, games, books, etc. That were age appropriate for her. Unfortunately, we did not get to enjoy the lake due to our commitments and the weather. Thanks for sharing your beautiful home.

Our stay at Green Cove was fantastic. The house offered more than enough room for the 7 adults we had in our family. The backyard was well taken care of and offered a relaxing place to gather after a day on the lake. We used the two included kayaks to venture around the quiet coves each morning. Boat and Wave Runner rentals are easy to find at the local marina's and the dock offered an easy way to pick up and drop off the 7 people in our group so that everyone did not need to travel to the marina to pick up the boat. The firepit was fun to gather around and make S'mores in the evening. The attached Deck offered plenty of space for every to enjoy breakfast while overlooking the quiet cove. Thanks for a wonderful time and lasting memories.

House was perfection! Super cozy, comforting and inviting. This was the most relaxing vacation my family of 9 has ever had! Beds were all comfortable, showers were huge and kitchen was well stocked with appliances/pots and pans. Host was amazing with communication and follow ups. Its safe to say we will be back!! Hot days at the lake.

We stayed at week at Lake Norman during the last heat wave. The kids could swim and we could paddleboard right off the dock. The house was nicely spaced with bedrooms in different parts of the house allowing everyone to go to bed at their own times. Worked well for a family getaway. Nice neighborhood too, not like “lake houses,” but homes people live in.

Return to Jack's place

Seamless from the get go to the end. We had stayed here last year and had a ball and were looking forward to our return this year. If anything, it was better. Jack put in a firepit that was great fun to use. We had everything we needed. We swam, fished, took Kayak trips, and even played basketball at a nearby court. Thank you Jack for sharing your home with us. God willing we'll be back next year

Great for families!

We came to Charlotte for my daughter's graduation and treated ourselves to Mother's Day weekend at the lake. The home is beautiful and had everything we needed. It is well equipped to cook meals, play games, enjoy the view and the lake. We hope to return soon!

Highly Recommended!

We had group of 6 friends from various states attending the PGA Championship at Quail Hollow in Charlotte. We were looking for a place on Lake Norman for 4-5 days and we found this gem! The house and location were everything we wanted! The host was awesome and very courteous and timely! Very nice restaurants nearby and easy access to Charlotte, Hickory, and Statesville. We highly recommend this listing and will definitely stay here again next time we are in the area!

Amazing Lake Vaycay

The house was immaculate and had wonderful amenities. The lake was peaceful and calming. We saw squirrels, Herron, fish, geese and ducks. The cove was quiet and peaceful- never once heard the engine of a boat. The golf course right next door made it perfect.

Birthday celebration with adult children

Beautiful home with great amenities. 4 couples and each had their own full bath! The hot tub was a big plus! The setting was gorgeous - so nice to be right on the water! The host was very responsive to questions. Nice touches with a welcome basket, extra paper towel and toilet paper.Would love to come back when weather is warmer to utilize the khaki’s. Would highly recommend!!

Our trip was a golf/NCAA basketball trip. The house met our requirements with one exception...the TV's offered only streaming services making it problematic to watch the basketball on network (CBS) tv without a subscription to Paramount. Hard to believe a rental property would not have access to basic tv, especially when the property listing stated "cable channels" which was not accurate.

We want to go again!!

We were 5 friends gathering to attend an online conference as a group. We found the home exactly as represented in the ad. The hosts were very responsive and kind. Contact information was provided early and questions were answered quickly. Check in information was on time and super easy. We had plenty of room to spread out and the home was furnished with everything we needed. The host's notebook in the kitchen provided lots of helpful information and area recommendations. We have bookmarked this house as our "go to " when we meet again!

Fabulous Trip

Jack was the absolute best host I have experienced. He has attentive and responded quickly. The house was beautiful, clean and exactly what we needed, better than expected. Trip was for my brothers 40th birthday get away with our parents siblings and spouses. We had plenty of room and were very comfortable. 10 out of 10 experience! View is gorgeous!
