Peaceful

This was a highly peaceful property with promise of superb opportunity for rest and relaxation. It had all that I could want as well as being exceptionally clean. Olga was very kind and the perfect gracious host.

Peaceful Getaway

The pictures don't do this property justice! The grounds were beautiful and the studio was so clean and comfortable. Olga has thought of everything you might need while staying with them. The place was just what we needed to recharge.

Serenity on the Selway

Tranquility at its best! Olga & Morgan are first class hosts. They have a wealth of knowledge about the area and we thank them for their kindness and hospitality. The bed was comfortable and we enjoyed cooking our meals on the deck overlooking the beautiful Selway River. It doesn’t get much better than this!

Peaceful Riverside

Fantastic place on the riverside. Quiet and well maintained. Be careful about making day plans...it's hard to leave the peace of listening to the river while having coffee!

Slice of Heaven

Everything about this property was perfect. We were seeking a place to unplug and we found it! Olga went above and beyond by baking cookies and leaving goodies from her garden on the table for our arrival. She and her husband offered anything we needed to complete our experience, from supplies for a local beach excursion to directions to waterfalls and hiking trails. The view was glorious from the loft with local wildlife and the rushing river and creeks. We agreed this was our best vacation ever with constant smiles and such a feeling of contentment Thank you for EVERYTHING Olga! We'll be back! xoxox

Idaho Peace & Tranquility

Olga & Morgan, extremely kind, hospitable, considerate folks! They are new friends😊 1st week, I was told, using too much Internet & too many phone calls, on the “landline”. Corrected immediately. Stopped using ALL Internet & stopped using the landline. Hot water tank is not big enough for “one” shower, definitely not a fan of cold showers, and had to take a couple @ the Lowell Loft. There really is need of a stove / oven combination. There’s only so many times you can grill & cook on a hot plate, before you run out of choices & options. Would definitely return, for a shorter duration, next time! The River Sound is amazing! Jim ✝️

Selway River Beauty

The owners are very professional and wonderful folks. This is a beautiful place to stay. We really enjoyed ourselves. We saw turkeys, deer and beautiful sunrises and sunsets.

River Vacation Getaway

We had a fabulous time at the Loft on the Selway River. The property was beautiful. The Loft was clean and perfect for our little mini vacation. I would highly recommend this spot to anyone who wanted to get away from it all and would gladly go back for another visit!!

My name is Olga. I grew up in Riga, the capital city of Latvia, on the Baltic Sea shore, spending summers on the white sand beaches. I love the crackling sound of moving water which relaxes my being and allows for restful sleep. I enjoy the local white sandy beaches for swimming and frolicking, and hiking in the cedar-treed forests seeking wild mushrooms. Observing wild life from the my kitchen window or porch connects me to the Real World. You also might find me floating in an inflatable kayak or riding my bike along the Selway River.

My husband bought this Wild and Scenic recreational property thirty years ago to be close to the world-class rafting of the Selway and Lochsa Rivers. The property has 700 feet of primary river frontage, and allows for great fishing and floating access. We started building the house in 2005, finishing it in 2008. During the construction of the main house, we stayed in the loft and were enamored with the direct and close river view and noise. The unique Selway River corridor ecosystem represents an coastal disjunct, with flora similar to the Olympic Peninsula, 400 miles to the east.
