Perfect Beach House

This was an amazing home to stay at. I have never stayed in a better stocked kitchen for a cook’s paradise, and with view like these who wants to go out to eat! Comfortable beds, big dining room table , spacious living room for making memories and so much more. Very pleased with this vacation with our Iowa family ❤️

Awesome coast property

This property was amazingly beautiful and clean in an ideal location with immediate access to the ocean beach and views of the bay. The kitchen was stocked better than anyplace we have stayed before. It was a spectacular rental !!

Wonderful Family Celebration

The house was very clean, fully equipped, and perfectly located on the water; The views were amazing! There was pliantly of stuff for the children to do and they really enjoyed their pirate themed room with the hidden play area. We will definitely be back!

Lovely hosts

We come to Bayshore often and have stayed at various homes; this is by far the best. The location and views are gorgeous, and layout of the home is great for a group (although it was just two of us when we stayed), and the kitchen is well-stocked. The hosts even left us some cookies and a few crabs in the fridge as a welcome. It really felt like they were excited to have us, and I That feeling enhanced our stay.

Everything we wanted and more!

We wanted to spend time on the beach with our young kids. We wanted to avoid having to cart all the kids and the stuff to the beach every time we wanted to go. This house was literally on the beach. It was surrounded by the sand from the beach and the driveway was at risk of being covered by the sand! Incredible! The house itself was perfect for our party. It was clean, had comfy beds, and had wide open spaces perfect for just hanging out and relaxing!

Beautiful house and Great Hosts!!!

The house was amazing and so family friendly! I immediately fell in love with the gorgeous super well stocked kitchen! Anything you can think of needing was there. The kids loved the family room and the bean bags were a huge hit! The beds were so comfortable and each room was themed. The view is breath taking just wish we had more sunny days to enjoy the sunsets. We would definitely love to go back when the weather is warmer. We have rented many beach houses up and down the Oregon coast and I have never had an owner reach out with a welcome email. Three words about our experience "love love love!"

Wonderful Oregon Coast beach house

We had a lovely weekend at this beautiful house, with large common area and fantastic kitchen (with great supplies for foodies who like to cook!). Thank you so much to the owners, Lara and husband. They were so responsive and accommodating. We had a wonderful time!

Long ago while Lara was in college at the University of Oregon she used to dream of renting a house for her family to come and visit. Mostly she was just craving her mother's home-cooked meals. Fast forward to 2005 when Clark and Lara traveled to Europe and fell in love with several vacation rental properties along the way. In Italy Sophie gave us directions to the Vatican and told us about a neat little restaurant tucked away in an alley. In Alsace, their host left a bottle of wine from her family's vineyard and in Greece, their hostess left a beautiful jar of honey and olives.
Lara was instantly in love with the vacation rental idea and when she returned she began hosting guests in her Little Pink House in Eugene Oregon. This was so much fun for her that when they decided to purchase their first home on the Oregon coast she decided to offer it as a vacation rental in the summer months. Fast forward to 2020. We purchased this home in 2018 and have remodeled, repainted and refurnished the Schrear House.

From the moment we stepped into the house we were in love. The views are absolutely spectacular. The house is situated in a way that provides views of Cape Perpetua, the Alsea River jaws to the ocean, and the Alsea Bay and Bridge. The home sits on the sand with a beautiful deck for relaxing.
