A really nice vacation home, spacious, functional, tastefully decorated with a few interesting art objects from India (and Africa?). The view of Savusavu Bay is a never ending spectacle, changing with the time of the day (and night), the weather, the tide. Up at the house, you live in complete privacy, yet the owner, Bruce, and the property manager, Jolene, who go out of their way to help when needed, can often be found in person around their office, down near the road. The same is true for their two friendly Fijian workmen, Tuks and Wise; they can also tell you a lot about life of Fijians in the jungle which will soon be forgotten. -- If the mosquitoes bother you around the house, you can escape into the pool. The windows of the house are protected with insect screens and can be left open day and night. -- Don't miss snorkeling, paddleboarding or kayaking right out front. -- Bruce's Sekawa River Tour was an unforgettable experience, with sailing over the Bay on his catamaran in wind and rain, and paddling on the quiet river along the virgin tropical jungle. -- Would have loved to stay at this place, with these people, for longer than ten days.
