The cabin is updated, clean and spacious yet cozy. We loved the "northwoods" and antique decor. The property is well kept and full of trees (good shade on those hot summer days). The cabin is set on a hill and there are about 200 steps to the lake which includes about 16 stairs on the hill. In my opinion, the cost reflects not being exactly "lakeside", so we were okay with that.
We had a great time using the kayaks and paddle boat on the 129 acre Range Line Lake which connects thru a channel to larger lakes. The lake is quiet so you won't be bothered by many power boats or jet skis. The weather was perfect (which helped).
The kitchen had all the utensils and appliances we needed including a kuerig coffee maker. The living room has a Roku TV for streaming channels, a sofa, and four chairs. There is one bedroom with a queen bed and a second bedroom with a full size bed (we had an air mattress, which fit nicely in the living room in case someone was a bad bed partner, snoring :-)). The bathroom is clean and has lots of room. The wifi works great.
Rich, the property manager will get your vacation started and help with any issues.
We met the owner, Sue, who is a very pleasant person and owns a lovely shop (Diversions) in town. Be sure to check it out.
