Artistic dome in tropical garden

Green Moon Lodge is a stunning jungle dome in Montezuma that will take your breath away! Built and decorated with artwork done by myself and local artists, this is a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the surrounding jungle.
The bedroom has large, round windows to lounge in and a roof that opens for stargazing!! The bathroom is magical. The spacious living room and kitchen open up to a lush tropical garden with monkeys passing by. Located 3 minutes uphill from Montezuma center and beaches.

The most magical space…

This space, this place, and the people are INCREDIBLE! I thoroughly enjoyed my time and couldn’t have picked a more peaceful spot than the Green Moon Lodge! Best decision ever!

Rainforest heaven and amazing host

I cannot say enough good things about the Green Moon Lodge and Katrin. From the beginning Katrin was extremely responsive, accommodating and helpful. It was really interesting to hear here story of how this magical place came to be. If the photos intrigue you, I can promise you once you step onto her property you will feel like you’ve been transported somewhere else. It’s truly a little rainforest haven. When I pulled up I had asked about the monkeys as I hadn’t seen wild monkeys in Costa Rica yet. Seconds later her boyfriend Rubin came out and said he just saw them towards the back of the property. Sure enough there were monkeys in the trees! That was quite the entrance haha. The property is beaming with beautiful flora and fauna. Lush tropical gardens, butterflies and birds fluttering around. And of course, little lizards. The dome itself is beautifully constructed, thoughtfully decorated, extremely spacious, clean and full of natural light and carries a powerful beautiful energy. The bed is comfortable AND there is a washing machine! Katrin has a book with recommendations for food, activities, etc and is always available should you have any other questions. I had the pleasure of running into her and Rubin on my way to check out a beach she recommended and we enjoyed walking together and learning more about her and the community. Montezuma itself is a beautiful quiet little beach town with stunning beaches, tide pools, waterfalls, delicious restaurants and the friendliest people. I stayed three nights and wish I could have stayed longer!

Will definitely come again!

Our stay in the Green Moon Lodge was perfect! We stayed at Katrin‘s lodge for 3 nights and couldn’t be happier about it. There is a fully equipped kitchen, nice bathroom with a washing machine and a very comfy bed with a rooftop hatch for awesome views at night. In the garden is a hammock and a sitting area and occasionally you can see some Agutis who come to visit. We had a scooter to go to the beach and the town of Montezuma. Katrin is a great host and she will help you with everything you need. Will definitely come again.

Loved every minute!

Katrin was a wonderful host! Very clear and quick communication. The green dome house was a dream. It allowed us to relax, unwind and even boosted our creative energy. The exquisite detail and artist expression of the home is just wondrous! We wish we could have stayed longer! Thank you Katrin!

Sehr empfehlenswert

Die Green Moon Lodge ist ein magischer Ort. Es ist einfach unbeschreiblich, in diesem Ambiente zu schlafen und aufzuwachen! Im Garten schwirrten Kolibris um uns, während wir in der Hängematte Kaffee tranken. Katrin hat uns sehr gut betreut und das Dom-Haus hat alles, was man für den Aufenthalt braucht. Ganz besonders das Badezimmer hat uns gefallen. Sehr empfehlenswert!

Our best time in Costa Rica

This is a magical place, something different, something more than a usual holiday apartment. The design is excellent, the concept is unique. Don't think twice, you need to try this place! My girlfriend and me had a wonderful experience also in Montezuma through sand beaches, falls, trails, and wildlife. Our host, Katrin, which is also the designer of the place, is a lovable person and she gave us excellent recommendations. Our best time in costa Rica.
