Characteristic apartment (living room, bedroom and bathroom - available 4-6 beds) located in the medieval village of Sassetta.

Tourist offer:
Mare: located on the hills, offers easy access to the wide beaches of white sand in an area with few urban settlements between the parks of Rimigliano and Wildlife Oasis of Bolgheri (we recommend the beaches of Marina di Donoratico (blue flag) , the 'seat' and 'former club Mediteranee')
Are also possible day trips to the beaches of Rimigliano, the Gulf of Baratti and the small gulf called Buca delle Fate.

Spa / spa near the village (about 800 meters) has been recently opened a facility in typical Tuscan architectural style with several swimming pools (indoor / outdoor), sauna, turkish bath ...

Hiking / cycling / horse trails: are available in the woods and in the surrounding countryside various paths adequately disclosed passable on foot, horseback or mountain bike.

Cultural visits: the medieval village of Sassetta is perched on a ridge of rock and marble (typical and widely used in the medieval village), in the castle of the eleventh century is the Church of St. Andrew with the baptismal font and a Madonna on table of 400 of great artistic value.
Are also possible visits (from 15 minutes to 1 hour by car) to the nearby Etruscan necropolis of Populonia and Baratti, the medieval fortress of San Silvestro in the municipality of Campiglia, the historical centers of Volterra and Massa Marittima and the geothermal plants (heads) Lardarello.
Are possible visits to the historic centers of the neighboring countries of Suvereto, Castagneto Carducci, Bolgheri, and Monteverdi.

Folklore / festivals / culinary initiatives: the biggest tourist attraction is the "Feast of October" which takes place in the last three Sundays of the month. The main attractions are the Carousel, the historical parade and various culinary initiatives. During the year there are various festivals and events, visit the website for further Sassetta is located along the "Wine Route", along this "way" that winds between Sassetta and surrounding municipalities are various wineries (in this area are produced wines such as Sassicaia and Ornellaia).

Superior vaccation in Sassetta

We all enjoy our vaccation in Sassetta, a beautiful little village in Italy/Toscana. Gentle People there, Great Aura in Nature and people‘s Communication. The Appartement as a typical building and Standard absolutly ok and we loved this atmosphere. We will back soon. Thanks for all!

Casa carina ma fredda e buia

La casa che ho prenotata è graziosa, ben arredata in stile rustico tipico della zona. La zona giorno è ben organizzata e abbastanza spaziosa. La camera da letto con un letto matrimoniale e 2 letti singoli è molto grande e il bagno è molto piccolo. Tutte le finestre sono poste in basso, pertanto la casa risulta buia, anche di giorno. La pulizia è approssimativa in ogni ambiente. Purtroppo mi è capitato un tempo piovoso e piuttosto freddo per la stagione. Dopo tre giorni al freddo, ho chiesto al proprietario quale soluzione proponeva, visto che il caminetto fumava Mi è stato propoto un altra casa, molto più piccola, ma con una pompa di calore. Ero ormai raffreddata, con una brutta tosse. Non mi sembrava di avere scelta - ho quindi accettato il cambio. La casetta è buia, poiché solo una porta-finestra con accanto una finestrella. La camera e il bagno sono ciechi. Insomma dopo 3 giorni si è già stufi di stare in questo minuscolo open space senza connessione wifi. Dimenticavo, nella prima casa non c'è il balcone visibile su una foto dell'annuncio - è il balcone della casa di fronte. Preciso che tra la casa prenotata e quella dove ho alloggiato perpompaproponesoluva

Ganz tolle Reise und ganz tolle Unterkunft

Der Aufenthalt war wirklich sehr schön. Sassetta liegt in einem idyllischen Dorf mit kleiner Infrastruktur. Es gibt ein paar Restaurants und ein paar Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Städte wie Bolgherie und Piombino sind nur ein Katzensprung. Die Wohnung selbst ist wunderschön und traditionell eingerichtet. Die Aussicht aus den Fenstern ist atemberaubend. Man hat wirklich alles, was man braucht. Sehr schön ist auch das Städtchen selbst. Der historische Ortskern ist so schön, dass er ein Reiseziel für viele Touristen nur zum anschauen ist. Die meisten Städte sind von dort aus gut über Land zu erreichen. So müssen keine Mautgebühren gezahlt werden. Wir waren jeden Tag am Meer und haben die Zeit sehr genossen. Natürlich haben wir auch Volterra besucht. Die Abwicklung war super einfach und der Gastgeber war unglaublich nett und zuvorkommend. Wir können diese Unterkunft bestens weiter empfehlen und werden sie sicherlich auch noch mal aufsuchen. Wir können nur Danke sagen.

Mitten in der Fußgängerzone

Sehr netter Vermieter, der uns jede Menge für Tipps für Restaurants und Strände in der Gegend geben konnte. Wir können zwar Italienisch aber der Vermieter konnte auch sehr gut Englisch. Bei uns war nach 2 Tagen die Gasflasche leer und der Vermieter hat nach unserem Anruf nach 20 Minuten schon für Ersatz gesorgt. Die Wohnung liegt mitten in der Fußgängerzone eines lebendigen kleinen Ortes. Das Auto kann man gut außerhalb des Zentrums parken. Hier gibt es auch mehrere Restaurants. Wir waren in August da und da gab es an einem Tag einen Kinoabend und an einem zweiten Abend ein Konzert auf dem zentralen Platz. Meer in 20 Minuten erreichbar. Sehr zu empfehlen auch das Fest in La Gabella, das immer Ende August stattfindet. Wir haben zu viert im großen Schlafzimmer geschlafen. Der Ort liegt auf etwa 330 Meter Höhe und damit war es für uns nie so heiß dass wir die vorhandene Klimaanlage einschalten hätten müssen. Für 4 Personen sehr gut geeignet. Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen hier. Vielen Dank an den Vermieter!!!

Soggiorno in borgo storico

Siamo rimasti molto soddisfatti da questo soggiorno - l'appartamento in affitto è nel borgo storico di Sassetta, inerpicato sulle colline, in zona pedonale. Consta di un ambiente giorno con cucina più soggiorno, e di un'unica camera da letto con letto matrimoniale e due singoli molto ampia; entrambi gli ambienti sono mansardati, e nella zona notte ci sono alcune limitazioni di altezza (nella zona giorno no). L'accoglienza del proprietario è stata ottima, è una persona molto gentile. Sassetta è tutta arroccata sulle pendici del colle, è uno dei suoi pregi ma potrebbe diventare un problema se non trovate parcheggio: in tal caso sbarcate la famiglia in piazza e uscite un po' dal paese, ci sono vari slarghi sulla strada ed è assolutamente sicuro. Direi che la casa non è adatta per persone a ridotta mobilità o bimbi molto piccoli, vista la ripida stradina in cui è ubicata e le scale di accesso - per il resto mi sentirei di raccomandarla data la bellezza del posto e la comodità con cui si raggiungono vari siti interessanti.

Schöne, rustikale Ferienwohnung

Schöne Ferienwohnung in super Lage. Diese Wohnung war 2 Wochen unser Basislager für einen wunderschönen Urlaub. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Pizzerien sind vor Ort, ein Auto ist dennoch unumgänglich. Sehr zu empfehlen, wenn man sich mit der kleinen Dusche arrangieren kann. Die Fotos sagen alles. Der Kontakt zum Vermieter war hervorragend und unkompliziert.
