Our accommodations were very clean but rather shabby. Fixtures were broken off all over the bathroom, the toilet bowl had a crack running all the way down it, and one of the chairs inside had a broken seat. The worst problem was that we were without hot water for the duration of our stay. Nothing like coming back from a cold wet day of scuba diving to jump into an ice cold shower. They were pretty unapologetic about it as well and suggested to my parents that they cancel if the hot water outage was a problem. Thanks a lot. My parents in the blue marlin had a broken microwave and their floor fan (the only “AC” available) broke halfway through our stay. They were unable to get ahold of anyone so I reached out and the issue was handled in a timely manner which was definitely appreciated.

Thank you for your feedback, Megan. We would like to apologize for the issues you encountered in the home. Our property manager has been notified of broken fixtures and appliances and will be working to address them as soon as possible. We are very sorry for the issue with the hot water. Regrettably, a new heater had to be ordered and couldn't be fixed in time for your stay. We truly hope we can host you for a more comfortable stay in the future, thank you.

Good but not Great

Check in was not easy. We never received the codes and no one was on site. We contacted them by email in the morning and still had not gotten a response by 4pm when we arrived to check in. We had to pay for internet and an international call to be able to get access to check in so that was a hefty addition charge due to their poor organization. We paid for two cabanas. They were nice and clean but definitely hot, even with the fans. One cabana did not have hot water the first day. The rest was fine. We found a cockroach in the second cabana. Overall the cabanas appeared to be clean. Beds were comfortable and they are well stocked. They are well located near restaurants and stores.

Fun in the sun

My wife and I loved the location, the privacy, the cleanliness, the hospitality, the convenience and the pool. It was a perfect setting for us but we also realized the potential for our family of grown children enjoying it with us while being able to enjoy their own privacy because of the separate cabanas.
