We came in town for our daughter’s wedding. The house was spacious and check in was easy and quick. The owner Tim is great with communication and responds quickly. We didn’t get a chance to use the pool. But we loved our stay! Would highly recommend.

The house was beautiful and spacious. The pool was clean though a little too cold for us to go in. Would love to rent again during warmer weather. Our host Timothy, was very welcoming. Everything was clean and the kitchen was stocked with more than most.

We loved the pool and patio area. The house had all we needed and the beds were very comfortable. We had plenty of towels and linens. We enjoyed watching football and the young adults liked playing games in the theater room . We had everything we needed in the kitchen for home cooked meals. The owner was super responsive and made check in easy. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely stay here again.

Very quiet neighborhood yet close to many restaurants and shopping areas. Pool was a great addition. A bit dated with the wallpaper, but very comfortable and roomy. Tim was very easy to get in touch with and was very helpful with questions. I highly recommend this property, we will certainly return.

Never again

Owner said he would be by to fix problems but never showed up. The skimmer with a 30 foot hose attached was left in the pool for the whole stay so we couldn’t swim. The outlet in the kitchen (1 of 2) didn’t work, it was a party house before us, verified by a neighbor, and liquor bottles were in the cushions of the couch. Dishwasher didn’t work, toaster didn’t work, laundry room sink leaked on the floor, floors were very dirty, outside lights near the pool didn’t work.The house was nice but too many problems.

Reunion and more in Florida

My wife and my son and his wife and our two teenage grandsons spent the week at this property while we isit attended a family reunion in Baker County, then dinner and a performance of West Side Story at the Alhambra in Jacksonville, and a trip to Universal Studios in Orlando. This was a comfortable and well-appointed place to return to every evening to relax, stretch out, unwind, and get a good night's sleep. We spent the last full day of our visit playing in the pool, watching streaming films and just taking it easy. The pool is great! The owner provides lots of inflatable rafts and pool toys to use and there are plenty of places to sit around the pool deck and patio. The location is easily accessible off I-10 and there are plenty of shops and stores and restaurants in the area. We are looking forward to staying there again.

Visiting family

Looking for a place to stay while in town to visit family. This location was close, gave us all the space we needed, and was quite comfortable. And bonus-the master bathroom shower had a grab bar for my 86 year old mom. Tim was a great host! Keeping his number for future visits!

We spent Christmas at this home and we had a great time. The property is clean and spacious, it was like being back home. Plenty of rooms and a nice theater room. Ideal location to stores and restaurants.

Property is in a great location, not too far from anything. It was very accomodating. Pool waa nice even though we did not use it. It was Peaceful and relaxing. And the host was very helpful and at my assistance with the simplest thing.

Originally from Upstate Western New York, and relocated to Jacksonville in 2000. Permanently settled here and consider Jacksonville my home. I am a partner in my own sales company and travel usually mid week, but do live only 3 miles from this home and will stop in on occasion to make sure that all is good with your stay. I am very active so I know a lot of the out door places to visit like parks, beaches, recreational areas, kayak launches, bike trails. I really enjoy the area a lot as there are many things to do within easy driving distance.

You feel like you are in your own home, not a rental property. Very comfortable, it is a very relaxing and peaceful atmosphere inside or outside this home.

Quiet and Safe neighborhood. Neighbors are friendly. Close to highway and easy drive to many attractions. Rest and relax at home or enjoy the local area.

Large Pool and Patio Deck to entertain family and friends. Jump in the pool, play corn toss on the patio, or just lounge on the pool deck. Later in the day, start a fire in the Fire Pit. Grill out, I have a Green Egg style grill, in addition to a basic charcoal grill and Fire Pit, for cooking. Plenty of parking. Bring your friends.

If weather does not cooperate, you can still hang out under the patio canopy, or inside watch a DVD or kids can play video games or watch movie in the 9 seat Theater Room.

The formal dining room accommodates 8 people at the dining room table for fantastic family get togethers.

Walk, Jog or Ride bikes, on the Jacksonville Baldwin Trail which is 2 miles away. Many wonderful parks for kids to play.

Kayak on one of many waterways in the North East FL, or go tubing in some of the springs. We are only 5 miles from a public boat launch so feel free to bring your boat.

Under 5 miles drive to check out some of the many excellent local places to eat in the 5 Points, Riverside, Avondale area.

Spend a day at Atlantic or Jacksonville Beach. Only 30 minutes away. Beach chairs, cooler, and sun umbrella are provided. But come back to the peaceful quiet home.

Really easy to get around to some out unique areas Fernandina Beach, Amelia Island, St. Augustine, St. Simons Island, Jekyl Island. Explore so hidden gems with a short drive.
