Excellent

This unit exceed our expectations. The unit was clean, very well equipped, had great views of the bay and city skyline, a couple of great little balconies, close to shops and public transport. The owner was super helpful with instructions etc. If you are staying in SE suburbs this is a great option.

Perfect

Everything about this property was perfect for us: - location (close to beach, restaurants and train!) - open plan with view (gorgeous on both sunny blue sky and grey days!) - Perfectly clean and everything just right and so lovely and comfortable. Even down to the text messages with well-timed reminder instructions were so very helpful. Didn't want to leave. It was perfect.

A little bit of work will go a long way.

The place has great potential, but really lacking in maintenance and cleanliness. It wouldn't take a lot of work, but it desperately needs to be better maintained. The carpets were quite dirty, the pulleys on the blinds broken and the floor boards loose in areas. However, the black mould in the bathrooms and the unclean range hood was too much for us. We couldn't use the cooktop as grease from the range hood was dripping on to the cooktop and we didn't want to risk it landing in the pan and giving us food poisoning. So we made other arrangements and stayed elsewhere for the last couple of nights.

Guest never communicated any maintenance issues during his stay, instead said everything Was alright when we sent him a message the second day after checking in. We use professional cleaners that would be happy to come back and fix any problems if guest has reported any. Guest originally wanted to stay 5 days in his booking request but was told that the minimum is 7 days in the Christmas week, he wasn't happy but still booked as it was only 10 days until Christmas. So obviously, leaving after 5 days was only because that was the original arrangement. Who would stay for 5 days in a place they aren't happy with and decide to leave on the 6th day without even communicating that to their host. Cleaners have reported place was full of rubbish when they arrived. 5 days worth of rubbish wasn't taken out. Smell was horrible and all bins were overflowing. Cans of wine and beer were left everywhere. We treat our guests with all respect and address their concerns and try to fix it for them if any. We take pride in the level of customer service we provide to our guests. It is evidenced by all our 5 star reviews.

Beautiful stay by the sea ....

Maro’s top floor apartment is superb! Brilliant views over the water and towards the city. A fabulous place to relax and destress. Beautifully fitted out, with everything you could need, including a very comfortable bed. My stay here was wonderful and just what I needed!

Great apartment which was clean and tidy and the condition was as per photos.(high standard) Close to train station and trains run regular to the city Great for a family stay as two single beds in the second bedroom Nice views and close proximity to beach and restaurants
