建物と改装は私たちの第二の性質になっています...。
この古い石造りの家の魅力のために落ちた...
私たちの家から約100メートルのところにあるサン・マルタン・デ・グルソンのこの村の家には薬局がありました。 それは1800年からのものです...今私たちはそれにスタンプを入れます...

Wonderful property in quiet village

Thank you so much Irish for a lovely stay at your wonderful house. It was very comfortable with lots of space for 8 adults. Iris provided great recommendations for things to do around Saint Martin de Gurson and the village has a bar and a small shop. The jacuzzi was a big hit!

Nous avons passé un super week-end dans la maison d’Iris. La maison est très belle, et décorée avec goût. Les lits sont confortables. La cuisine est très bien équipée. Nous avons profité du billard à l’intérieur et de la piscine et des jacuzzis à l’extérieur. On a passé de belles soirées dans le coin salon sous le auvent. Maison parfaite pour de belles réunions de famille ou entre amis.

Nous avons adoré ce gîte , il y règne une ambiance "maison de famille" très chouette. Spacieux, bien équipé, décoration soignée (gros coup de cœur pour le salon extérieur !). On à (particulièrement les enfants) apprécié les équipements de loisirs, la piscine, billard, jacuzzi, le grand jardin clos ! La campagne environnante est très jolie, les paysages sur la route de St Émilion sont superbes. Et pour finir Iris est très agréable, et disponible. Fanny

Belle maison, spacieuse, bien équipée

Maison agréable, qui doit pouvoir maintenir la fraicheur pendant l'été! L'extérieur est bien "isolé", sans vis-à-vis et c'est très appréciable. Un bbq est mis à disposition, ainsi qu'une grande table, des chaises longues... Tout y est! Coté cuisine, il y a un piano gaz 5 feux et un grand four, un lave vaisselle, une machine à laver... La salle de jeux (billard, babyfoot) est un gros plus surtout lorsque le temps est maussade. Le jacuzzi est top également lorsque l'on ne peut pas profiter de la piscine. Il y a de nombreux équipements de bébé (chaise haute, parc en bois, des lits adaptés, un anneau de bain...) ainsi que des barrières de sécurité. Nous avons vraiment apprécié notre séjour malgré la fraicheur en ce début mai. Les propriétaires sont très accueillants et à l'écoute. Ils se rendent disponibles en cas de besoin et sont charmants. Je recommande cette location. Nous reviendrions avec plaisir!

House exceeded our expectations with so much room. Felt like home so quickly.

We really enjoyed our stay. There was so much more space than we had thought before arriving. As the weather was so good we spent most of our time in the garden and pool. The hot tub was a lovely added luxury. We often wandered around the village (popping into the bar for a cheeky G&T on the way home). The village is beautiful and quiet. We walked to a local vineyard once (the rose Iris suggested was lovely in the sunny garden). We also explored some of the local towns and villages. We found Iris' suggestions of places to visit/eat really helpful. It meant we could avoid the tourist traps. We would definitely recommend this property (especially for young families) as a safe and simple holiday.

If you like charm, privacy and luxery.

This well equiped and spacious house is the perfect match for people who want to enjoy some privacy without losing the benifits of the collective facilities (swimming pool, restaurant, activities, ...) of the gîtes that are located just at 100 metres from the house. The lovely house is located in the middle of the village and it has all modern confort that a family needs to enjoy are great vacation. The large garden, the private outdoor jaccuzi and the covered terrace are perfect to relax and enjoy some privacy. We have been here already 5 or 6 times and whe always loved our stay. We are going back in August this year. The hospitality of Iris and Michiel is the cherry on the pie.

Our story starts in Belgium, Mechelen, in 1997. It's the year we opened Sauna & Health Center 'De Bron' .

Three years later we concentrated on the restaurant business and launched Restaurant 'De Kok & De Proever' and in 2001 Grand Café en Lounge Bar 'Toko Karachillio', all in Mechelen.

It was quite a busy and stressy period but also very interesting.

we wanted to move the south!

It was our dream to renovate an old house into a charming B&B, also offering diners.

In 2003 we found the perfect place in Saint Martin de Gurson, a little village in the Purple Perigord, in the middle of the vineyards.

We were in love with the house, the environment!

It has cost us a lot of energy and time, but we managed to make our dream come true!

Le Guinot now has 5 guesthouses (for 2 to 5 persons: gites), a mannor house, a village house and 2 gîte-houses and a b&b at our neighbour’s .

Our philosophy stayed the same over the years: we offer high quality services in a relaxed and personal environment, kidsproof & at friendly prices.

Welcome to « La Maison aux Volets Bleus » or translated « The House with the Blue Shutters »

Building and renovating has become our second nature….

We fell for the charmes of another house …

In this village house in Saint Martin de Gurson, at about 100m from our home, there used to be a pharmacy. It dates from the years 1800…now we put our stamp on it…

The white gable is in a beautiful contrast with the clear bleu shutters. It’s a surprising house. It’s a lot bigger than it shows from the outside!

We maintained the old authentic buidling elements as old doors and wooden floors, but as we love modern decoration too, we mixed it with lots of white and design.

In total there are 5 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a library, a pool table room, a lounge with a big fire place, an open kitchen and a huge covered barn and fenced garden of 1000m2.

The village house is only for rent as a whole and can accommodate 1,2 or 3 families. It sleeps up to 12 persons. Ideal for a unique vacation on a lovely spot; Towels and bed linen are included, as well as gaz,water, wood etc…as also a change over cleaning at Saturdays.
