Spacious, charming home. We usually stay in hotels, but this was so much nicer. We spent the first 30 minutes exploring all of the interesting architecture. The yard was very nice; unfortunately it rained the whole time we visited so we didn’t get to enjoy it. Since this is a historical home, it does come with some of the quirks you would expect to see like steep stairs and smaller bathrooms, but experiencing this piece of history is well worth any small inconveniences. We will definitely stay again.

The home was clean and comfortable. It is a very convenient location. When we arrived, I text a question to the host and received a response within 2 minutes. Very enjoyable stay.

Hot tub was great, beautiful big deck, host was quick to respond when questions arose. Great location! Parking was tight, says 2 car garage but you would have to have an awfully small car to get in it. All and all we enjoyed our stay very much!!

We had a great stay and would certainly stay again. Very unique, vintage home with wood floors and trim everywhere. Everything was perfect for our visit to Chippewa Falls. It was also nice to have the garage to park our motorcycles in at night.

This was the perfect place for our group of 7 with the right amount of sleeping space and dining space. It was quite hot while we were there so did not get to enjoy the outside space or the hot tub but hope to return sometime when it is cooler to take care of those wonderful features. A safety issue that should be mentioned - there are no handrails going up the stairs to three of the bedrooms and no handrail to basement either. I would hesitate to stay here with young children without those safety protocols in place. The stairs going to second level are wood and can be quite slippery in socks. The stairs going to basement are carpeted but very steep (laundry is in basement).

My family and I had a great stay at this property! We had plenty of room to spread out in the house but it was also nice to spend time together in the living room, dining areas, and backyard. The view from the patio area is amazing! Jason and Krista are wonderful hosts and made us feel so welcome!

This is a super comfy home with lots of room for our family. The house is well stocked for cooking and the hot tub was a treat. The house is walking distance to downtown Chippewa Falls and has a great view from the deck. Easily one of the top VRBOs we have stayed at due to it being a complete package and a great value. This is a gem!

We loved our stay. The home was adorable, spacious, and perfect for our family of five. Our only regret was that we didn't get to enjoy it longer due to an extended family event. We hope to return the next time we are visiting family in the area!

Great location for walking distance from downtown and Leinie Lodge. Quaint old home with a lot of space for 5 of us. We enjoyed sitting outside around the fire pit. It was a bonus that the wood was provided for us.

My husband Jason & have been raising our family in this home for 15 years and have lived in the home for nearly 20 years. We have 4 children ages 15-7 and they have rode up and down the alley where the home is located and nearby streets with their bicycles for years.

We love the history and character that an old home has to offer. We have renovated every part of the home over the years on our own. We recently built a new home, but have decided we cannot part with the home that has helped write on the slate of our family.

We love the charm that the City of Chippewa Falls has to offer and believe others would love to spend a weekend in our quaint home soaking up the small town atmosphere. We love to walk downtown and listen to music in the park on Sundays or grab a bite to eat at Max's.

Our photo was taken August 9, 2019, which was the day we left this home for our new home. It was a bitter sweet day.

We hope you enjoy your stay in our home.
