Perfect Trip

We had a great get away. Home is exactly as described and even better than the pictures. We loved the outdoor areas, making pizzas and sitting by the fire pit. Enjoyed cruising around the lake on the pontoon even though the weather was cooler than normal. Host was quick with communication and easy to work with. We highly recommend and will be back next year for our annual friends weekend.

Our new annual anniversary getaway house

This house had the best water views, from the lower dock, upper deck above the water, patio and upper deck. And all 3 tvs outside were perfect for viewing the NFL draft. We grilled chicken and cooked pizza outside. The inside was very comfortable. Many fancy upgrades. Nice neighbors. so pleasant. now on our annual rotation.

Great Lake Getaway!

We had such a great time! This was one of our best rental experiences - the house was great, the outdoor space is awesome, and the boat was a fun bonus. We visited in October so it was a little chilly in the mornings but it warmed up quickly and we enjoyed fishing, swimming, and cruising on the boat during the day. Smores and football by the fire in the evenings were great too. Sebastian was a great and communicative host. We loved our stay and can’t wait to come back!

Great getaway

Perfect house for family of 7 and our dog :) We enjoyed the house and the lake but most of all we loved the access to the boat. Outdoor deck was nice, we look forward to coming back in the fall to enjoy more fishing and evenings by the fire.

Great Summer Vacation

Our family of five, plus our dog, has a wonderful vacation at Lake Tillery! The home was spacious and clean. The outdoor patio and decks were so relaxing. And the use of the boat provided hours of fun. Without doubt, we will be back.

Incredible view

The house is very warm and welcoming. The screened in porch is perfect for morning coffee. We had brunch on the deck under the pergola. We used both the grill and pizza oven on the stamped patio. Outstanding amenities!! Just be careful of the view of the lake. You may want to stay.

We had the best time. The amenities were perfect for our family. We loved the outside kitchen. Plenty of room for my large family. The boat usage was a big perk! Grandkids loved jumping off the dock!

Great Family Vaca Spot

My family throughly enjoyed our time at Sebastian’s property. The home has fantastic views and plenty of room to spread out outdoors. The use of the boat certainly made the trip! We were fortunate enough to have mostly sunny weather to enjoy getting out on and into the water. Any questions we did have were quickly addressed by Sebastian, which we really appreciated. Fantastic Stay

This is a fantastic place to stay on Lake Tillery. Communication was great throughout the process. We rented the boat during our stay, enjoyed an evening around the fire pit, and spent time on the dock on Sunday while watching football. We would definitely stay here again.

Amazing and Relaxing retreat!

Had a great week at the property enjoying the lake from the doc, the deck, the patio (around a fire), on the boat, and on kayaks. Quiet neighborhood to relax and play with our family while enjoying the lake.

Amazing place to stay

The place was great to stay. Everything was clean, there was a new deck and amenities were better than expected. My friends and I had an amazing time. The scenery was beautiful! The owner was great to work with and communication was great as well.

Nice house on the water

Too cold to enjoy a lot of the amenities but a clean comfortable house. Would be a great place to stay in the summer.

Wonderful property, wonderful host

Property is just as nice as pictured and the outside amenities are outstanding. Beautiful lake view and easy access. Also very convenient to nearby hiking. Extra shout out to our understanding host who helped us with a hiccup created by us. This is a property not to be missed.

I am from New York. I bought this lake house after falling in love with Lake Tillery while visiting a longtime friend over the past few years. I am an airline pilot and travel extensively so I am not easily impressed but I was sold on this property as soon as I saw the beautiful lake views and the amazing dock spaces.

This property has an expansive main channel Waterview and an oversized two-story dock with two boat lifts. The location of the house puts it as close to downtown Albermarle, with all of its shops and stores, as you can possibly get and still be lakefront. Very convenient 7 min drive.

Free use of our Tritoon on premises instead of renting one at the marina for $525/day (May-Oct)
Pet friendly with low pet fee
High end outdoor kitchen with extra large professional pizza oven capable of cooking multiple pizza's at once at temps of 1000°F
Five separate outdoor entertaining areas
On the main channel with wide stunning views. Not located in a cove with restricted views
Private boat and jet ski launch
Luxury bamboo linens, towels and an initial set of paper products and laundry detergent all provided free of charge
Free endless supply of seasoned firewood for the pizza oven and fire pit.
Abundant lake toys available free of charge

Whole house automatic backup generator installed. No possibility of suffering from the seemingly constant power outages that Lake Tillery residents endure all too frequently in the summertime from strong storms which cause the loss of air conditioning and electricity for 24+ hrs.
