Excellent stay

We had a fantastic time this weekend. Property was clean, great view and perfect outdoor area. It was a laid back weekend with a little fun in the sun.Highlights for us were the outdoor kitchen and dock area. Nice kitchen, everything was clean, and we will be back!

Beautiful Getaway on the Water

We had a wonderful time. The property was perfect and had all of the amenities we needed and more. The ability to use the pontoon boat made our stay extra special. The host was pleasant and helpful and made the check in process seamless. A beautiful place with many opportunities to unwind and relax in a peaceful setting.

Family vacation 2024

Great Lake Getaway!

We had such a great time! This was one of our best rental experiences - the house was great, the outdoor space is awesome, and the boat was a fun bonus. We visited in October so it was a little chilly in the mornings but it warmed up quickly and we enjoyed fishing, swimming, and cruising on the boat during the day. Smores and football by the fire in the evenings were great too. Sebastian was a great and communicative host. We loved our stay and can’t wait to come back!

Great getaway

Perfect house for family of 7 and our dog :) We enjoyed the house and the lake but most of all we loved the access to the boat. Outdoor deck was nice, we look forward to coming back in the fall to enjoy more fishing and evenings by the fire.

Incredible view

The house is very warm and welcoming. The screened in porch is perfect for morning coffee. We had brunch on the deck under the pergola. We used both the grill and pizza oven on the stamped patio. Outstanding amenities!! Just be careful of the view of the lake. You may want to stay.

Great Summer Vacation

Our family of five, plus our dog, has a wonderful vacation at Lake Tillery! The home was spacious and clean. The outdoor patio and decks were so relaxing. And the use of the boat provided hours of fun. Without doubt, we will be back.

SIMPLY AWESOME!

We are so thrilled with this past week that we had at this amazing property! I’m not sure where to begin!The house is awesome- very clean, nicely furnished, comfortable beds and bedding, well stocked kitchen, great appliances and lots of tv’s! We brought our own games, but there are many options in the laundry area too! The outdoor entertaining is off the chain! The outdoor kitchen is amazing and there is a lot of seating! The firepit on the main patio was where a lot of our memories were made! My kids (young adults) loved the dock as well as the crows nest area with amazing views. Did I mention that EVERY toilet has a heated toilet seat!? My goodness now I don’t know how I will live without this in my life! The newly renovated bathrooms were gorgeous and the showers were amazing!The pontoon was immaculate and ran like a champ. This lake is so beautiful and we enjoyed our trips admiring the homes and scenery! The stereo system on the boat was great too…The best part- the host, SEBASTIAN! I’ve rented many VRBO’s and he is by far the most attentive and interactive host we have ever had. He responded immediately each time we called or had a question. SUPER nice man who clearly loves this home and wants a great experience for all his guests. THANK YOU!This is a wonderful home for ALL ages and it’s in a great location. Side note, the neighbors were lovely people! :-)11 out of 10 stars! BOOK THIS HOUSE! :-)The Needles

We had the best time. The amenities were perfect for our family. We loved the outside kitchen. Plenty of room for my large family. The boat usage was a big perk! Grandkids loved jumping off the dock!

Great Family Vaca Spot

My family throughly enjoyed our time at Sebastian’s property. The home has fantastic views and plenty of room to spread out outdoors. The use of the boat certainly made the trip! We were fortunate enough to have mostly sunny weather to enjoy getting out on and into the water. Any questions we did have were quickly addressed by Sebastian, which we really appreciated. The perfect vacation

This lake house is absolutely perfect! There is something for everyone here and plenty of space for family fun. My family and I plan to vacation here again. If you are considering this house then look no further, this is where you want to be!

Fantastic Stay

This is a fantastic place to stay on Lake Tillery. Communication was great throughout the process. We rented the boat during our stay, enjoyed an evening around the fire pit, and spent time on the dock on Sunday while watching football. We would definitely stay here again.

Amazing and Relaxing retreat!

Had a great week at the property enjoying the lake from the doc, the deck, the patio (around a fire), on the boat, and on kayaks. Quiet neighborhood to relax and play with our family while enjoying the lake.

I am from New York. I bought this lake house after falling in love with Lake Tillery while visiting a longtime friend over the past few years. I am an airline pilot and travel extensively so I am not easily impressed but I was sold on this property as soon as I saw the beautiful lake views and the amazing dock spaces.

This property has an expansive main channel Waterview and an oversized two-story dock with two boat lifts. The location of the house puts it as close to downtown Albermarle, with all of its shops and stores, as you can possibly get and still be lakefront. Very convenient 7 min drive.

Free use of our Tritoon on premises instead of renting one at the marina for $525/day (May-Oct)
Pet friendly with low pet fee
High end outdoor kitchen with extra large professional pizza oven capable of cooking multiple pizza's at once at temps of 1000°F
Five separate outdoor entertaining areas
On the main channel with wide stunning views. Not located in a cove with restricted views
Private boat and jet ski launch
Luxury bamboo linens, towels and an initial set of paper products and laundry detergent all provided free of charge
Free endless supply of seasoned firewood for the pizza oven and fire pit.
Abundant lake toys available free of charge

Whole house automatic backup generator installed. No possibility of suffering from the seemingly constant power outages that Lake Tillery residents endure all too frequently in the summertime from strong storms which cause the loss of air conditioning and electricity for 24+ hrs.
