Perfect Little Weekend Getaway

Perfect size and vibe for a honeymoon or girls trip! Super easy to get to and perfect walking distance to the main street! Pool was well kept too!

Place was perfect. The pool and hot tub were amazing all weekend. We had one small issue with the TV and they had a guy over in 10 minutes to fix it. Location was perfect. Will definitely stay here again.

40th Anniversary stay!

We really enjoyed the cleanliness, location, and small holiday touches in the room. The bathroom door needs to be trimmed at the bottom, but it didn’t hamper our stay. We had a great time in the local wineries!

Great Fredericksburg Experience

We enjoyed our weekend stay! The location was great and within walking distance of Main St. attractions. My only complaints are the bathroom door rubbed against the floor and was not easy to open or close and the shower curtain had a yellow stain at the bottom which means it needs a thorough cleaning or needs to be replaced.

Comfortable & Romantic

Very comfortable unit! The unit was well maintained and the details were spot on! The pool was great to have and the location was great, off of main street so it was quiet at night but still very walkable from all the shops and restaurants.

Great little romantic place just off the main street

Very nice quaint property. Very clean, the bed and sheets were great! Pool was cold and not clean and someone kept turning off the hot tub so it was cold, but you could turn it on and it would warm up in a couple of hours. @ blocks from Main st so easy walk and the neighborhood was very quiet.

Great location, but property has some issues

This is a very centrally located spot, but far enough from the beaten path to be quiet. The room was reasonably comfortable, although the step up into the bathroom and then up again to the toilet is probably an accident waiting to happen. The spa needs to be preheated every time you want to use it, but if you preheat it a little too long, it gets too hot, so achieving just the right temperature is a challenge. Also when we arrived, I noticed that we had very little toilet paper left on the roll, and no spare, so I had to spend more time than I wanted begging for more toilet paper--there is no management on site, so if you have an issue after hours, you may have to wait until the next morning for a resolution.

Just what we needed

This space was great for a short couples trip. We walked everywhere we wanted to go, as we were just a couple blocks north of the Marktplatz. The neighborhood is quiet and it was nice having a pool (though smaller than the pics make it look). This place is a 10/10!

Close to Main!

This was a nice little private room 2 blocks from Main Street. Nice modern decor and clean comfortable room. But the pool was not clean, and there was no information in the room about area attractions and wineries, which we have had at most other places we have stayed.

Clean, Convenient Rental in Fredericksburg

This property is just 2 blocks from Main Street behind the Marktplatz, an easy walk to shops and restaurants. Bathroom is up to date with great shower and whirlpool tub. Very clean and well furnished. Pool is also clean and well maintained. Will stay again on next visit to Fredericksburg.

Perfect Low Key Getaway

Love this property! It was super cute and quiet. Close to Main Street so we were able to walk to the local shops and restaurants. just a 10-20 min drive to wineries.

Sweet Romance Suite #6 review

Room was not the same as shown. Furniture and cabinets were different but better than pictures. Pool/spa and pool area were filthy. Don’t expect to use. Room for the most part was clean, but bathroom needed to be swept. Coffee maker was NOT clean. TV, Frig, microwave, AC worked fine. TV is mounted to be watched in bed or in seating area which was nice. Chairs and Bed were very comfortable. Bedding was ok but had a large stain on the right side. Ample towels provided, but not enough wash cloths for 2 people for 4 days. Consider bringing your own. Very limited silver ware, plates, glasses, etc. Glad we brought disposables. Soap in the bathroom was so tiny. Bring your own bath soap. There are two steps in the bathroom which may be tricky for some at night. Bathroom door sticks and is difficult to close. Light outside of suite was not working. Consider bringing beach towels or blanket to cover the windows if you want to sleep in because curtains are very thin and no blinds and sun shines right on the bed. Good location 5-15 minute walk to most places on Main Street that we ate at for breakfast and dinner.

Disappointed

Bathroom sink still had makeup or something from someone else’s stay, which was concerning with Covid and all that the place probably wasn’t sanitized. The “spa” hot tub didn’t work and when contacted they told us to go to the other property(35 degrees running around) which that one didn’t work either. We were looking forward to the hot tub and relaxing for 2 nights. They gave us 70$ back for the weekend, which for me wasn’t really much. Never contacted again after that. Disappointed.

Almost all 5s on the rating

I would have given this all 5s except for a couple of things. There are 2 steps up into the bathroom which can be quite challenging if you are trying to leave the light off and let your spouse sleep. The unit was very clean, but they must have used a lot of Fabuloso because the smell was really strong when we opened the door. Other than that, the bed was heavenly. Room was very comfortable. Location is excellent. There is a lovely pool and patio area which we really enjoyed. Overall, a very nice stay.
