We stayed for ten days in April last year and we found it delightful. It's a small, charming cottage with two bedrooms that's very attractively furnished in bright colours and rattan, very Mediterranean feeling.
The kitchen is well equipped and the bathroom is adequate, with a shower, bidet, etc. The beauty of the place is the terrace with the view of the Mediterranean. We met some locals who told us that this house has the best view of the area.
The owners have kept it as natural as possible, so that you enter via a pathway through a wooded area that keeps it totally private from the road, and come upon a spectacular sweeping view of the Mediterranean. We spent almost the entire time outside on the terrace and had all our meals there, even though, being April, it was sometimes a bit cool. We imagine it is wonderful when the weather is very hot, as it seems to be cooler there than in the villages and towns or in the valley.
We toured a bit, and came across some of the most gorgeous sites we've ever seen--the Route des Cretes between La Ciotat and Cassis, and the Grand Canyon du Verdon, about two hours' drive north through some of the most charming villages and countryside. Thoroughly recommended for young and old!
