Great Getaway

We spent a week with 10 ppl. The Condo was great. There was enough space for everyone. I loved that the property was gated and a new ice cream and coffee shop are within a short 5 min. walk.

A Real Gem

Property was everything we could have hoped for. Very close to the beach ( walking about 3 min). The beach supplies that were available in house was a nice touch. Highly recommend.

We had a great time.

The Vrbo was good. We could of used hand soap at the sinks (kitchen) and soap for the shower plus there was only four coffee cups for a place that sleeps 10. We needed more beach chairs. The bedding was clean, towels were clean which is very important. The tvs worked well with lots of channels. The chairs and couch looked fairly new and were nice. The washer and dryer worked well, clean. It bothers me that we were asked to take out our trash when we checked out after we paid a pricey cleaning fee. The nearby public beach was amazing. Overall a great trip.

Spring Break

Had a very nice stay at Blue Fin. The house was very clean and well supplied with dishes, lots of towels, and beach chairs. It fit our group of 7 well! We learned early on to drive a car to the beach and set up or chairs and umbrellas and leave the car in the lot for when we were ready to go home. It’s a bit of a walk to the beach if you are carrying stuff. The pool is nice but the water was chilly. Some electrical issues at the house...a couple circuits kept tripping on their own. Overall it was really nice and we would go back.

Labor Day Weekend

As told by the property manager we were the first to book this listing. Everything was wonderful!! We were shocked by the additional supplies already provided (sugar, coffee, condiments, beach supplies, laundry detergent, board games, and the list goes on) Condo situated in a quiet gated neighborhood. Pool was steps away from the house, however we did have to drive 2 minutes down to public beach access (no biggie). Clean charcoal grills right by parking lot. Only downfall was there were a few dead bugs in drawers and living room area was a little cramped for our 9 person party.

Just okay

We got a call on check in to tell us the condo was ready but the master bedroom room upstairs outlet didn't work and someone would be out Monday to fix it. I that's fine an outlet not a big deal upon getting to the condo we find out the whole room had no power I called spike to 3 different people they sorry for the inconvenience and they put a rush on the order someone would be there the next day well no one came for 3 days so we could not use the room at all for 3 of our days there. I went and read some comments and come to fins out the guest before me had reported the outage so it really should have been fixed before I checked in. I voiced my opinion about I shouldn't have been charged full price because I rented a 4 br but could only use 3 for half my stay and have yet to hear back. I don't care how nice the place or where it's located if customer service is not any good nothing is. The kitchen could use some more utensils like a pizza cutter, ice cream scoop. The bedrooms are not as big as the pictures make them look. The beach is a pretty good walk that you will not want to make with kids.

Unclean unit

We were very excited to get to the vacation rental after a long 2 day's drive from Texas to Florida. We arrived at the rental and the house was filthy. It had crumbs all over the kitchen floor, the countertops were covered in a sticky substance, we pulled the sheets back and there was hair on the beds. There was food splatter on the walls that they claimed were just " old stains", which came right off with a cleaner I had to use myself. There was plastic trash on the floor in the bathroom and more hair. The bunk beds had some weird substance on them. We took pictures. We made contact with the manager and she claimed it was cleaned after the previous renter. The manager did send someone to clean who only brought Windex and the wrong sheets to change the bed, she then had to leave and come back. The housecleaner stated that "if the beds look like they have not been slept in then they will not change the sheets" she sprayed Windex on the countertops and that was the only cleaning she did and she left. I and my family ended up cleaning the property ourselves. They charge a cleaning fee to each renter yet they do not clean it. I personally think I should get a refund for the cleaning fee . We did not get to rest the first night we were there. Pros: The condo was situated in a cute area and a cute ice cream shop was down the ways. The unit itself accommodated 10 people comfortably. Beach is drivable to if ya have small kids or walking if older. Cute area.

Wonderful

This property was well maintained and perfect for two small families, the pool was great and there was also a putting green area, shuffle board and bocce ball which the kids loved. There was beach chairs there and an umbrella which was nice. If you have young kids plan on driving to the beach, but older kids or adults could walk or bike there. The beach access has parking if you get there early enough and there are restrooms and a place to hose off which was super convenient. The communication with the management company was amazing (they texted to check on us regularly) and we had zero issues! We would stay there again for sure!

Nice place!

Pictures are very accurate. Nice place, cute decor. Warm friendly feel. In walking distance to the Beach but we always had one car drive the “beach gear” down vs. carrying it all.

Spacious Condo close to beach

Renting condo was very easy, unit was spacious and decorated beach style. Very clean and neat . I was thinking the unit was closer to the beach. Beach was about a mile from unit .

Some struggles, overall nice

Great location and neighborhood. Nice that it’s a gated community. Bedrooms are big and comfortable. Nice outdoor space. Problem with keypad entry. We were new to using this type of key pad and there was no instruction as to how to work it. So we arrived after a long 9 hr drive and weren’t able to enter. We called the mgmt company and had to wait for the call center rep to contact the on call agent for us. Thank goodness it was still early enough to catch a bite to eat while we waited. But I can imagine the distress that might ensue with a family with children arriving late and tired and can’t figure out the entry because proper instructions were not provided for the key pad system. Considering how specific some other instructions or rules were in our agreement I would highly recommend being just as specific on the key pad entry instructions so guests can actually get inside upon arrival. The on call agent did call us about 20 minutes later and explained it to us. Once inside it was a great stay except the wireless network that was supposed to be available for our unit was not even visible as an option on our devices so we had to make due with our own data plans. The last issue we experienced was the TiVo remote in living area was not connecting to the box and we had to do some fixes to make it work. The unit itself was very comfortable. Plenty of space and well cleaned nice decor. I would recommend wiping down floorboards. Overall, this is a great option and the price was just right.
