Really terrrible weather, so we had to leave for one night since the highway was flooded, but the house was lovely. Good value for money - great decks with partial views of the ocean. Really enjoyed the hot tub. Also used the pool once and the washer/dryer was very nice to have!

Nice accommodations

We were extremely satisfied with our accommodations overall. The house is beautiful and we loved the hot tub and pool. I wish we could have seen more of the ocean from the house as only a small portion was visible. I would definitely stay there again

Absolutely amazing!

We had a great time staying at triple fins! Very short walk to a great beach! Very quiet and everyone was friendly! House was very clean and had more than enough stuff to keep our young family entertained for a week! Will definitely be staying again!

Great location and amenities!

The home has great space and amenities. The very short walk to the beach was great and the beach was full of beautiful shells. we were able to bike to a quaint coffee shop on the sound side. Sunrise and sunset views.

Triple fins was exactly as advertised

Came down from my daughter's graduation gift to her stay was amazing. I've stayed multiple times in OBX Surf and Sound were great host two minor things on arrival ( first week of season not our first rodeo we get it ) needed screens for windows and confirm a breaker was off due to lights being replaced. Both were dealt with super quick within hours. Property was clean and location is super couldnt be happier definitely booking again.

Great week in Rodanthe

Our stay at this property was better than expected. We found everything as advertised and enjoyed the pool/hot tub/pool table and all the other great amenities as well as the close proximity to the beach entrance. The only negative we found was at check out. Check out time is listed as 10am and the cleaning staff were at the house by 7:30am and waited in the driveway while we finished packing the car. I'm sure turnover days are hectic but this process could be improved on. Overall this home was perfect for our needs and we highly recommend it!

We were very grateful that they were able to get us into the home, after Hurricane Erin. We only lost 1/2 a day there. So we are thankful. Their communication was not the best initially (uncertain due to hurricane?), but once checked in, it was great. The property was good, including the pool. The house was very dirty though, with black mold in many places. We were concerned for the small children in the house breathing this in and contemplated asking for some money back but knew that would not likely happen. The carpet was not vacuumed and there was a lot of dog hair and even dog food in a pile in one of the bedrooms. The carpet was very dirty. Also a lot of water stains in ceilings. This home needs a good cleaning and some TLC. There were a couple broken kitchen cabinets, along with 2 broken chairs on the upper level deck. All this being said, we still had a great vacation!

Great location

The house itself is huge with tons of room! The location is great so close to the beach. It is a tad out dated and not the cleanest. While being such a great space for big family's the little things we didn't think we need to pack we should have as in toilet paper, frying pans( the ones they had were either Incredibly small or so old and gross). We went during "off" season and had to order and pay an extra fee for all our sheets and towels for the bathrooms and was a tad disappointed that we also had to lug the huge bins of sheets and towels up the stairs and make each bed. The password we were given for wifi never worked and they sent someone out right away and he was there about 2 minutes and told us there was an "outage" and couldn't help us. Tvs in every room but they didn't work or we couldn't figure them out. The pool was great it wasn't supposed to be open while we were there but it was, it was not heated but our kids still went in. The hot tub was also a nice plus. Overall the space is great and the location was key and the views were very nice.

Enjoyable

We really liked the location and the amenities that this home had to offer. The pool was beautiful but we did not get much use of it due to the weather. I would recommend renting this property we enjoyed it and love the fact our dog could as well. Hot tub was a huge bonus as well as game room. Plenty of space. Some of the furniture was outdated and kitchen faucet had a leak underneath… but it did not ruin our trip, very minor inconvenience.

PROPERTY WAS FINE / SURF OR SOUND WAS VERY UNHELPFUL THROUGHOUT STAY

WE ENJOYED THE PROPERTY. THE HOUSE WAS BIG AND PROVIDED LOTS OF SPACE FOR US ALL TO ENJOY OUR TIME AS A FAMILY. HOWEVER, THE HOT TUB WOULDN'T WORK. EVERYTIME I CALLED SURF OR SOUND I EITHER DIDNT GET THROUGH OR THEY SAID THEY WOULD CALL ME BACK OR SEND SOMEONE TO FIX MY ISSUE AND NO ONE CAME AND WHEN THEY DID COME THEY WERENT ABLE TO FIX OUR ISSUES. THE COMMUNICATION WAS LACKING WITH THIS REALTY COMPANY AND IT WAS A HASSLE TO DEAL WITH THEM EVEN BEFORE OUR TRIP WITH THE PANDEMIC. SURF OR SOUND WAS UN SYMPATHETIC TO THE FACT THAT WITH THIS PANDEMIC HAPPENING THE UNCERTAINTY OF WHETHER WE WOULD BE ABLE TO COME OR NOT WAS STRESSFUL AND THE FACT THAT WE WERE TOLD NUMEROUS TIMES THEY WERENT GOING TO REFUND US ANY MONEY WAS RIDICULOUS. HORRIBLE BUSINESS.

Family get together

Everything was great. 4 adult couples. Plenty of room. Weather was the only issue but we understood that we booked during tropical season. Hot tub was used daily. Pool was nice, clean and ready but didnt use due to weather. Close walk to the beach. Several small stores within a short drive or bike ride. Watermans Tavern on the bay. Great staff and nice bay sunset views
