Home because closing was delayed

My family purchased a home to close in June however, the seller needed more time with tenets move out date, so our move in and closing was pushed back 3 weeks. The home that I scheduled to stay in on VRBO is huge! Very modern, great lighting, and in the heart of buckhead which if you have never been to Atlanta is the area to be in. Thank you for your investment into rentals! If you are visiting Atlanta with a group or family you will not be disappointed with this home. It has all you need to host 6-8 people.

Bare bones, less than 2 stars, you are much better off at a hotel.

I was given two hours after check in to report problems and was ignored after that. For the price, you are much better off at a hotel. We were given three low quality bath towels for what was to be 6 adults. There were no paper towels and only one deadbolt lock. I did not feel safe here and checked out after only one night. I expected a pet friendly home, the fences in the back yard were all falling down, the back yard was unkempt, and there was no sidewalk on a very busy street. I asked for a refund and was also ignored. There were roaches in the light fixtures of the bathroom. The pictures look nice, but the home is not as advertised. The ONLY thing going for it is the location....and even at that there were homeless people walking around. I could not get the owner to communicate with me about the towels and lack of paper towels and ended up not wanting to risk the safety of my family who were arriving later, so we checked into a hotel. I thought spending over 4000.00 for a week would ensure a top of the line, safe, and clean environment. It was the opposite of pristine. I have stayed at VRBO properties for many years with no issues until now. To say I am disappointed in both VRBO and the property owner would be the under statement of the decade.
