Great location

Near bus station, grocery, walmart, restaurants, phamacies, etc. 15 min walk to hallandale beach 45 min walk to the start of Hollywood beach broadwalk 1 hour walk to Margaritaville Pool not so clean

Easy to get around

The host answered all of my questions very quickly. We felt safe and it was very easy to get around to different places in the Miami area. Very close to nice Hollywood beach.

Nice place!

Pretty nice place and great price. Close to beach, race track, and lots of local bars/restuarants in walking distance. Had a small issue with plumbing, but the host was quick to fix the issue with little interruption to our stay. We would definitely stay again!

Good deal for a few nights.

The unit needed plumbing attention and the beds were too soft for our liking, but it was an inexpensive place that suited our needs for a couple nights.

Beware, neighbors very sketchy

Think boarding house for the wayward. We arrived very late at night to find two people outside the door doing drugs, the smell of urine coming up the outside stairs was terrible. We couldn't get the combo lock to open, owner was very responsive at 12 am. The unit itself is all the ad says it is. The building seems to be some kind of flop house, scary and sketchy at best. We ended up staying two of our four nights elsewhere. As a side note i unfortunately left an overpriced hair straightener at the unit, two months later after many promises to send it to me it has not arrived.

De-comissioned Motel

I hate to write a bad review, but I would hate more for anyone else to book this rental thinking it was a condo by the beach. It is a de-commissioned weekly rate motel — filled with pimps, hookers and other unsavory characters...located behind a CVS in an alley. There was a strong urine smell throughout the entire property, no tv, bad AC and there was even some weed left on top of the fridge. There was a man dressed as “security” who told us if we parked anywhere else besides where he told us to park — they would tow our car. There was even an interior door into the adjacent unit...it felt really scary and unsafe. The windows didn’t even lock. Sorry to say...I want everyone to have a chance to make a business. But, this rental should be like $30/a night. At least at the worst motel 6...there is a locking window, some level of cleanliness, tv and AC.

So nice we stayed an extra day!

Another review said they had trouble extending their stay, but Raul was able to fulfill our request within an hour of messaging him. Very easy-going host. Check-in was simple. Received a message hours before, explaining everything we needed to know. Key was located in a lock-box right on the door. Parking is very convenient, right downstairs from the room. Spots were always available. The room is a nicely upgraded Knights Inn unit. The hotel still functions, but feels secluded from their revolving guests. Looks just as advertised. Small beach supplies were also available for use. Large SmartTV with streaming services. Comfortable beds with soft sheets. And the shower head is VERY nice. The area is great and we felt safe. Easy walk to the beach. But if you’d prefer to drive, there are multiple parking lots along the beach. Simply download and app called ‘PayByPhone’ or pay on their website. Very affordable rates. Many stores and gas stations around to meet your needs. Avoid Walmart, as it is very crowded. Publix is much better, and just as close. Easy drive to the surrounding areas (Ft. Lauderdale, Miami Beach, Key Biscayne). We even made a day trip to Key West. Overall a great place. Would definitely stay again!

Not as advertised

I got to the property late at night there was a male suiting on stairs. Not sure why. I could not open lock box to retrieve key. Travelled with my elderly mother and teenagers, areA seemed sketchy, like a rooming house. Emailed owner who would come out to unlock but we had already left to look for a hotel. Owner said he would refund the night. Still waiting. I went back the next day and witness a drug deal, I decided not to stay at the property. I emailed owner and never heard back from him.

Neat place

I had a problem trying to extend my stay by a night. I tried for 4 weeks prior to my stay. Raul did not know how to do it. VRBO was no help at all, although they said they sent him instructions. Someone else reserved it a few nights before my stay. We had to find another place which was a pain and expensive. Raul tried to make it right. When we got there we were surprised in how cute the place was. Just don’t look too close. Haha! Pros: beach items, cute decor, big tv, cute kitchenette, extra bed, awesome shower head Cons: bed was squishy, a lot of cosmetic problems (i.e. doors, ceiling bathroom counter), location (heavy construction of huge building) no much space to put clothes and bathroom items. I wish we would have gotten to stay our second night, but probably not more than 3 night.

Great location, exactly what was advertised

The room was exactly what was advertised. Great location, well supplied with toiletries, towels, dishes, and cooking supplies. We didn't have to purchase the basics like cooking spray or seasonings. The pool was clean and warm and the room was welcoming. No issues with neighbors and nice view of the marina. Easy check in and Raul was easy to communicate with before and during our stay. Would definitely recommend.
