The house and setting was so serene and relaxing. We enjoyed the outdoor area and the warm cabin like wooded welcoming and comfortable interior. So grateful for the appropriate amount of heat set, knowing that it was a bit cold at night, and extra blankets set aside for us.We had a wonderful time and a chance to reset from the city life.

We had a great stay! For the price, you can't beat it having lake front rental with kayaks. Nice views of the lake. Very peaceful. 15-40mins away from great hiking. It was private; sometimes we heard neighbors, but rarely. House on a main road and would hear road noise, but if no cars passing, then it was quiet. We used the kayaks, and I brought my paddleboard. Life jackets were provided. There were a lot of lily pads and the pictures must be older. On the small lake, there was a trail through them, but we could not utilize the full lake for this reason. The dock is very close to the house. Late afternoon shade made the deck perfect for eating dinner. If you go in the summer, you will have to empty the dehumidifier every other day. No big deal, just wanted to mention. There is also a ring camera on the front door that wasn't mentioned in the listing. Nonstick cookware could use an upgrade.I'm listing pros and cons for an honest review, but would absoutely recommed this place. We enjoyed our stay.

This was a great location, and the lake was beautiful. We loved watching the beavers swim and play at sunset. The house was cozy and had all we needed for our weekend trip. It was also a quick trip to the the Bethel Performing Arts Center.

Lake Life

Our stay wasn’t long enough. First, we were pleasantly surprised as soon as we stepped foot into this quaint farmhouse country style home away from home. It was clean and equipped with everything we needed. We saw loads of wildlife including an owl to greet us. This location was the perfect reset we needed. Cannot wait to go back!

Super cute cottage perfect for a weekend away from the city

We absolutely loved our stay here. The cottage was very clean and decorated nicely. If it had rained the entire time I would have been happy to stay inside and read by the living room window. We even had an issue with a door (our fault) and they were so helpful and responsive when we needed help. The water is less of a “lake” and more of a shallow pond but it’s beautiful nonetheless. The towns nearby have amazing food and friendly service. We enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend.

A wonderful place to stay! Clean, has everything you could need. The host was great, she came through for both things I needed her to. Very quiet! I slept like a baby…I have to thank everyone that made this stay possible!! Kayaking on the lake and having a fire was awesome!. This is the perfect get away!!

Cute and quiet getaway

Stayed here for three nights with an old friend and my big dog! We loved the deck and the kayaks and that several rooms had TVs. Also close to the cute town of Jeffersonville! The kitchen was beautiful but not a sharp knife to be found for cooking unfortunately. Lots of small applicants though! The property wasn’t totally clean when we arrived (clean dishwasher full, sticky kitchen table, and garbage outside overflowing), but the host texted back right away about the garbage issue. Beds were comfortable (downstairs is a trundle bed with ok mattresses) and the views were gorgeous! So glad you allow dogs too!!

Great stay in the Catskills

Overall a great stay in a wonderful property. We would have thought there would be a bit more of opportunities to explore but Skilifts were still closed despite quite some snow … however, we need to come back in summer as we think this might be a complete different experience…

Such a beautiful property!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The home is absolutely beautiful and peaceful. The grounds are lovely and also peaceful. We are looking forward to coming back in the spring! It snowed overnight and we awoke to a gorgeous white winter wonderland view! Thank you so much.

Aesthetically beautiful house with several improvement areas

My wife and I were looking forward to a nice getaway for our mini-moon. The vrbo is aesthetically beautiful with plenty of windows, sky lights, and a fully-loaded kitchen. We enjoyed taking the kayaks into the water. The location is close to multiple trails, restaurants, and breweries. Unfortunately, the vrbo did not meet our expectations. The indoor fireplace was non-operational due to insurance reasons (there was a sign on the property) despite being listed and pictured on vrbo. There was a mix-up in cleaning schedule so we encountered the property manager trying to get into the site unannounced (which the vrbo owners did apologize for). Above all, my wife and I heard what we believe were mice in the walls at night. Taking a closer look around, we found small droppings in the kitchen. By the end of our three-night stay, we found ourselves happy to head home. I notified the host before putting the review up and they said they would address as much as possible as there are some things out of their control. Hoping this review helps patch up some areas of improvement.

We have 3 kids , we live near NYC and in the weekend we go up to our cozy lake house to relax . Time we spend here helps us to bond as a family , we share family time without being distracted by technologies . The mountains and lakes takes away all our stress , we practice yoga and meditation with kids . We expect our guests to feel the same when they are staying in the lake house as we do . I believe life is short , there is nothing better than spending quality time with your family and friends ...and there is no better space than being in the nature .. Namaste
