This was our first stay on a boat and we enjoyed it!
There were 3 of us, me, my husband, and our friend. The boat was comfortable for the 3 of us and we enjoyed our time on it! As others have noted, it can be a little difficult to get on and off the boat, but we used the power of team work to help me and my shorter legs get traverse that first step.
We had the bad luck of arriving during a fairly windy rain storm. There are wheelbarrows bear the community center and parking lot so you can get your stuff to and from the boat more easily. And the arrival instructions were very clear and helpful, so we were more easily able to get ourselves onto the boat quickly and get less drenched in the downpour :-)
The boat was rockier that first night because of the wind and rain, but we felt comfortable, safe, and warm in the boat and even enjoyed the rocking come sleep time! If you are prone to seasickness, bring some meds.
The boat is super comfy and looks exactly as described and shown in the listing. The kitchen is very functional, but we decided to enjoy the cuisine offered in Eastport instead of cooking.
The boatt and marina are within walking distance of many restaurants, bars, and fun things to do, and you don't even have to cross the bridge into downtown Annapolis if you don't want to!
I definitely recommend the Kathleen Marie to anyone looking for a fun and different stay in the Annapolis area.
Oh, and the sunrise on our last morning was GORGEOUS!!
