Serene relaxing nature. Wood stove indoors, propane fire pit outdoors. Everything you need for a comfortable stay. Fridge, stove, dIshwasher, washer/dryer BBQ. Blackout curtains for a good nights sleep. Your own parking at the cabin. The cabin is situated on its own private section of our 5 acre property. Surrounded by trees nestled in the woods and private. Offering all the cabin comforts to make your stay enjoyable. Sit back and enjoy a private deck to look out into the forest. We have the best tasting fresh well water. No need for bottled water. High speed 5G internet service.

We stayed here for a few days for our wedding anniversary ans first time visiting Canada. I dont think I can put into words how much we loved our stay! The cabin is perfect! Everything had been thought of and we wanted for nothing, even things we hadnt thought we would need but ended up doing. The attention to details was amazing and it was spotlessly clean with tasteful decor.The location was stunning, so peaceful, set within the trees so all we could hear were the sounds of nature around us. The outdoor space was stunning too, with a choice of seating area, various lighting options and a lovely little hanging feature for when it rained which sounded lovely as the water trickled through. The fire was also a lovely touch fire and the outdoor blankets, I loved these! I cant really do this place justice with a review to be honest, there are too many good things to say about it, but I recommend anyone thinking of booking to do so, you wont regret it. We are lucky enough to travel quite a lot each year, but this is the first trip I have been on where I was genuinely sad to leave. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay! We have definitely fallen in love with Canada.

Dream Cabin

If we could give 6 stars, we would! Clean, fresh and all condiments needed and kitchen equipment fully complete. Bed and pillows great and bathroom sparkling and bright. Kitchen and living room really good sized. Plenty of windows. The outside is the real gem. Old growth forest, wild ferns that sway on a gentle breeze. A cedar path from the deck at the cabin to immerse yourself into the trees, to a small deck with two chairs and a small table. Complete with fresh cut flowers and dappled sunshine to enjoy morning coffee or a glass of wine to reflect on your day. No traffic noise as this land is located at end of road.2 minute drive for gas, convenience store and main Island highway. We will be back. Thanks

A Peaceful Forest Retreat

My husband and I spent a week in this beautiful cabin and enjoyed our stay very much. The hosts had obviously tried to anticipate everything their guests might need, and they were quick to respond when we had a question. Although the cabin itself had everything we needed, the cedar deck was the main attraction for us. We loved having our coffee outside every morning while we listened to the birds or reading in the afternoon in the midst of the forest. When it was cool in the morning or at night, we appreciated having the propane fire, and when it rained one day, we built a cozy wood fire indoors. At night, the hosts turned on the fairy lights strung through the trees, and the effect was magical. All in all, it was a fantastic place to unwind and reconnect.

Vancouver Island at its Best

My wife and I absolutely loved our stay in Cederwood Cabin , Perfect location (out of town), Every amenity you could ask for and we are already planning on coming back. Town is 15 minutes minutes away for any thing you may need and you are surrounded but Parks and nature trails. Even spotted a small black bear in one of the parks nearby. I have stayed in many holiday homes and I can honestly say that this was perfect for us.Thank you

Tranquil, tasteful, and "tucked in"

This tastefully well appointed cabin retreat was exactly what we were looking for, and it had everything we needed. The fireplace was perfect to warm up beside after a day at the windy beach. The only noise we heard was some gentle rain on the roof. We highly recommend this retreat..

Great place, super comfortable and cozy

Reality exceeded the photos and expectations. We spent 2 nights at the cabin, and it was a real charm. The place is clean and fully equipped with everything you may need. It felt like things were well thought through and it made us feel like staying at a cozy home. The location is in the woods and a bit remote from the nearest town, which was exactly what we were looking for. I would most definitely recommend checking this out!

Winter stay at Cedarwood Cabin

We enjoyed 3 nights during Christmas at Cedarwood Cabin. The snow blanketing the forest was incredibly beautiful and quiet. The cabin is extremely comfortable, private and well appointed. As 2 chefs, we couldn't have asked for more from the well equipped kitchen. Also enjoyed time sitting on the large covered deck with propane fire. The indoor fireplace was also very cozy. We both enjoyed a facial at Gisele's spa cabin, which is a just a short walk on this private property. We had a very relaxing time. Thanks Gisele and Gerry!

Things experienced for the first time at this cabin -The sound of hummingbird wings -The sound of large bird wings flying overhead -The silence of deer as they move through the trees All while enjoying tea on the patio.

Peace Amid the Forest

Ambience and amenities are excellent. The pictures do not do this super cute cabin justice. One can tell that heart and soul went into creating such a comfortable and serene atmosphere. Do not let the drive from Parksville/Qualicum deter you. This is a must stay. We will definitely be back.

Amazing property. Hosts were very responsive and dedicated to making our experience unique. Attention to detail - anything we could think of, was there. If you want to spend a quiet time in a cabin in the woods, but also be a short drive away from Qualicum Beach, this is the place you're looking for.

This is truly a hidden gem! The pictures do not do it justice as it is absolutely gorgeous in person. They have truly thought of everything from having a spice drawer, to providing coffee creamer and condiments in the fridge, all the way to having literally every tool and appliance you would need for a long stay! We did not need the wood-burning fireplace but thought that was a great feature. It was awesome to have a dishwasher as well as laundry if you needed it. It is very close to Parksville and all those fun activities for adventuring. The outside of the cabin was stunning with a huge overhang over the deck to a little grassy area and even a walk out bridge path that led to some chairs under gorgeous Edison bulbs. The propane fire with the included propane was awesome and we appreciated that! It was exceptionally clean and I loved the little touches of chic but west coast decor. I quite liked the fact that the bathroom had shampoo and conditioner in it and when we entered they had a wonderful salt rock lamp that was on and some essential oils that made it smell good. It was great to have a fan/light in the living room and in the bedroom! I can’t wait to stay here again :-) thank you for having us and for your wonderful communication! If I could write this 10 stars I would.
