We stayed Jan-May and were new to vrbo. We couldn't have been more pleased. We were not looking for perfection, but it came pretty close (for our needs). Having several children, we wanted a lived-in feel, but still wanted that "vacation" touch, too. The decor was lovely, the kitchen very well stocked (we needed to buy a potato peeler). There were even wonderful frogg toggs for sunburns!!! We LOVED the neighborhood. Everyone was friendly, we felt safe having the children be able to ride their bikes, and treasured our evening walks all over the neighborhood by the lake. Everyone's landscapes were kept very attractive. The pool was a welcome delight for our whole family, and only about a 1 minute walk from the house (unless you stop to talk to half the neighbors on the way there). The air conditioning did a fantastic job on even the hottest days. We liked being able to open all the windows and enjoy the breeze, but once the air was on, the system would have it cooled right down in a matter of minutes. There is a small fenced yard for young children, a water-hose to cool down with (the kids loved watering the roses and flowering plants most days.) We did bring our own folding chairs to put out on the little patio to enjoy the morning sun. There is a small parking area for a few cars right outside the sliding door, but the people who park there were respectful of our privacy (and ended up becoming friends). With our large family, we never felt crowded at all, and could spread out over the house. Our only regret is that it is already occupied for next season. Thanks so much Sandra
