This is a home listed through Vacasa, posted on VRBO. This is the second time I've stayed in a Vacasa home and both times I've had issues and no one is available to help. When I rent from VRBO it's usually the owner you speak to if you need help with something, but with Vacasa you have to call an 800 number. I sat on hold for 20 minutes, no one ever answered. I texted all of the #s that sent me info (re: check in, etc) and finally heard back from one. Over the course of 4 hours I got 3 text msgs, never did fix the problem. When I complained about the wait they said they were having higher than normal call volumes. Ok, maybe, but I've worked customer service quite a bit and never have I ever started helping someone and then left and randomly checked back in every hour. You talk to one person, try to solve their issue and then go to the next.
Two problems. The TV is not connected to the internet so you can't stream anything. They say you can, but you absolutely can not because the tv is in no way connected to the internet nor does it seem capable of being. If the tv can't access wifi you can't chromecast and stream to the tv. We tried everything we could think of, every setting, googled it, no luck. After 12 hours dealing with customer service i gave up. The second was that they gave me one pool code, it was wrong. There was another one in the book in the house, it was also wrong. I had to get another guest to give me their code so we could access the pool. No pool and no streaming to the tv would've been pretty big letdown foe my kids, luckily we got a code feom another guest and we weren't staying that long.
Also all of the smoke alarms were disconnected and sitting on the kitchen counter, which is a bit of a safety issue. And both of the doors to the patio were really hard to open and close.
