Great break in Hardelot

Laurent was a great host who was super helpful with information on the property and surrounding areas. Location is awesome as it's so close to the beach and a short walk to the town. The garden was great and enclosed so really safe for the kids to run around and have fun! Would definitely look to return in the future.

Convenient and family friendly villa by the sea

We spend a wonderful week at the Villa with our little boy and a friend. We were lucky to be welcomed directly by the owner who had beforehand already given us extensive information about the house and things to do which was very helpful. It was a luxury to fall asleep while listening to the sound of the waves. A big thank you to our host Laurent, we had a great stay.

Quiet, private location with good beach access and parking next to the house

Good property for a family, with easy access to the beach, large yard, spacious living/dining/kitchen, numerous bedrooms, well equipped with bicycles, outdoor furniture, etc. Drawbacks for us since we are older than 68, were the steep stairs, little lighting in the dated bathroom, and really no ocean view as advertised in the photos, the reason why we chose the property. There is a peekaboo view from the upstairs bedroom. We appreciated having the house to ourselves and very good contact with the owner.

Dear Gary and Juli, Thank you to have taken good care of our villa and to have enjoyed the equipments offered, space and proximity of the beach. Thank you also for your review. It helps to improve our cottage. We will add lights in the bathroom. Refreshing it is in the pipe but not planed yet. The view on the ocean is garantee from the garden and level 1. From living room, it depends of the height of the neighboor hedge yearly cut (end of october).The wide direct view on the dunes and forest is peacefull. To avoid the stairs, there was a possibility to use an optional downstair bedroom + bathroom not advertised here. I should have informed you. Hope to welcome you again!

Een superlocatie

We hebben een heerlijke week gehad. Het weer was mooi zodat we elke dag konden beginnen met ontbijt in de tuin. Wat een rust heerste er en het uitzicht is prachtig. Het huis is eenvoudig ingericht maar het was schoon en het ontbrak ons aan niets. Hardelot is een gezellig plaatsje en is lopend goed bereikbaar. Een groot pluspunt vonden wij de aanwezigheid van fietsen.

Ruhiges Haus mit Blick auf's Meer

Wir hatten als Familie mit unseren vier Kinder einen sehr schönen Urlaub in diesem toll gelegenen Haus. Die Ausstattung war wie beschrieben sehr gut. Das Haus grenzt direkt an die Dünen und man hat einen wunderbaren Blick auf das Meer. Ein 4min-Spaziergang bringt einem direkt zum Sandstrand. In unserer Urlaubswoche war das Wetter etwas stürmischer und kühler, aber trotzdem konnte man den Strand genießen. Im Haus gab es auch verschiedene nützliche Dinge dafür wie z.B. Sonnenschirm, Windschutz. Die Kommunikation mit dem Gastgeber Laurent hat im Vorfeld sehr gut funktioniert. Alle Fragen wurden zügig beantwortet. Da das Haus ohne Bettwäsche und Handtücher zu mieten war, hat Laurent uns eine Firma vor Ort genannt. Dort konnten wir alles problemlos online buchen. Es wurde pünktlich geliefert und abgeholt. Sehr praktisch. Im Zentrum von Hardelot (6min Fußweg) findet man mehrere Bäckereien, einen Supermarkt und viele Restaurants. Wir fanden das Restaurant Crêpe Dorée sehr lecker mit köstlichen Galettes und Crêpes. Außerdem kann man an der langen Strand-Promenade malerische Sonnenuntergänge beobachten. Das Schloss von Hardelot ist auf jeden Fall einen Besuch wert. Es hat außerdem einen phantastischen Garten. Vielen Dank an Laurent! Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Herrliches Urlaubsdomizil mit wunderbarem Blick

Wir haben den Urlaub in dem großzügig ausgestatteten Haus mit seinem wunderbaren Ausblick und dem weitläufigem Garten sehr genossen!!! Die Lage des Hauses lädt zu herrlichen Strand- und Dünenspaziergängen ein, ist aber auch ein toller Ausgangspunkt für Radtouren in die weitere Umgebung. Gerne werden wir in dieses Urlaubsdomizil wiederkommen!!!

Urlaub zum Erholen und Genießen

Wir waren für 1 Woche im Juni (vor der Ferienzeit) in dem gut eingerichteten Haus mit grossem Grundstück in Strandnähe und Blick auf Strand und Meer und den Wald von Hardelot.Im Garten verweilten wir auf den Gartenstühlen die meisten Abende um die tolle Aussicht und den Sonnenuntergang zu genießen. Die drei Schlafzimmer (Betten mit guten Matratzen) und unten das große Wohnzimmer mit Küche boten viel Platz und tolle Aussicht. .Vom ruhig gelegenen Haus aus waren tolle Wanderungen am langen Sandstrand und ausgeschilderte Wanderungen durch die hohen Dünen mit Aussichtspunkten aufs Meer und durch den Wald von Hardelot bis weit über das sehenswerte Schloss von Hardelot möglich... Weitere Sehenswürdigkeiten in der Nähe gelegenen Stadt Boulogne sur mer mit dem sagenhaften Nausicaa ( viel Zeit zum Staunen und Verweilen in dem Riesenaquarium mitbringen)und der Altstadt mit Kathedrale und großer Krypta und urbaner Malkunst an Häuserfronten sind lohnenswert..... . Die Kommunikation mit dem sehr netten Vermieter war jederzeit ausgezeichnet. Der Vermieter hat im Haus auch eine große Broschüre mit Wissenswertem über das Haus und viele weitere Ausflugsbeschreibungen hinterlegt. Wir sind sehr entspannt und gut erholt nach Hause gefahren und kommen sehr gerne wieder.

Fijn verblijf in Hardelot

Met het gezin hebben we de meivakantie doorgebracht in deze ruime vakantiewoning in Hardelot. Het huis is zeer compleet qua voorzieningen en gelegen op een groot omheind perceel. Daarmee ideaal voor kinderen. Het uitzicht op de duinen en het strand is werkelijk fantastisch! Het huis ligt in een rustige buurt, dus we konden genieten van de geluiden van de vogels in de duinen. Het strand is slechts 200m lopen. De eigenaar van de woning is goed bereikbaar voor vragen en reageert snel.

Cadre exceptionnel dans une maison ultra équipée

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour dans la maison de Gaëlle et Laurent. La vue sur les dunes est exceptionnelle et relaxant, sans compter que la plage est à 150m à pied. La maison est grande, très bien équipée et très propre, les vélos à disposition sont un gros plus. Merci aux propriétaires pour leur disponibilité et leur bienveillance. Hardelot est une superbe station balnéaire, avec son château, ses lacs, son centre équestre, ses golfs, son front de mer...Nous reviendrons sans hésiter.

Sejour en famille

Nous avons vraiment apprécié l'accès à la plage par un petit chemin, la vue sur les dunes ainsi que la mise à disposition des vélos pour faire de belles ballades en famille. Petit bémol : nous avons eu très très froid dans la maison.

Merci pour votre séjour chez nous et de votre commentaire qui nous aide à améliorer notre maison de vacances pour les prochains. Nous sommes désolés que vous ayez eut froid. Les températures extérieures ont été extrêmement basses pendant vos vacances. Notre villa (2005) est construite aux normes de l'époque (isolation, double vitrage, chauffage). Nous renforcerons donc l'isolation et ajouterons des chauffages d'appoint pour la prochaine saison.
