Good stay for 4 adults and 4 toddlers

Good location, excellent layout of cabin, great arcade box , and nice property. Would have been nice if owners trimmed the overgrowth covering the beautiful view.

Beautiful views

Views from the property were as good as some of the best hikes in the park. Very nice accommodations. Road to the property is well paved but a bit of a challenge if you aren't used to driving small mountain roads.

Views can’t be beat

Great time at the cabin. Would have rated 5 stars but pictures are very misleading. Cabin has zero yard/green space. Sunrise on one side and sunset on the other side of the cabin.

million dollar view!

Terrible Communication and Unhelpful Host

We arrived to this cabin at 6:00 PM and found that the air conditioning was broken - 80 degrees in the cabin. I messaged the VRBO host and didn't hear back. I found a book in the cabin that said to call a property manager if there were issues. Turns out, there is a company that manages the property and the VRBO host appears to be hands off. The property manager was unable to fix the AC and they moved us to another cabin late that night due to the heat. I heard back from the VRBO host late the next morning asking if we ever got the AC fixed. Apparently, they didn't know that the property manager was working with us. The cabin we were moved to was not family friendly and didn't compare with the this cabin in terms of view, fire pit or family friendly furnishings, but we were stuck at that point. I asked the VRBO host to consider some sort of refund and never heard back. The new cabin we were in was such a bad match for our family that we ultimately just left a day early.Props to the property manager who helped us out as best they could. But, this host is awful. They did nothing to help correct the issue with their property, never responded after their initial message asking if the AC ever got fixed or even apologized for the inconvenience. Beyond that, they clearly weren't even communicating with their own property manager. This is the worst VRBO host I've ever dealt with.

First, I want to clarify that the VRBO host and the property manager are actually the same person. The message you sent the night you arrived came through our overnight messaging system and wasn't delivered until the next morning, so unfortunately, our morning shift hadn’t yet seen that you’d already been moved by our after-hours team which is why they tried to assist you at that point. Regarding the cabin you were moved to — this was actually an upgraded property. It was larger, had higher-quality furnishings, and we covered the $400 rate difference as a courtesy, at no cost to you. We also sent you the link to view the home in advance and let you know that if it didn’t feel like the right fit, we were more than happy to find another option. You confirmed that the cabin would work, so we proceeded with that arrangement. We’re sorry to hear that the replacement home didn’t feel like a good match for your family. That’s never what we want for our guests. We always do our best to respond quickly and find the best solution in a tough situation — in this case, a broken AC is something we took seriously and acted on immediately. We completely understand the frustration when things don’t go as planned, and we apologize that this impacted your stay. We appreciate your kind words about the property manager’s efforts, and we’re always working to improve communication and guest satisfaction. Breathtaking view! Not as private as it seems, and cleaners need improvement

Absolutely breathtaking view in the mountains. The property itself was very well maintained. A few important things to note... First - driving to this cabin will take you up the side of a mountain (of course). I would not recommend it on slippery roads. Second - the cleaners need to be alerted about two things that need improvement... 1- check UNDER the bathroom mats! I moved one of them and discovered a large dead insect with claws that a colony of ants was actively dissecting. This angered the ants and they quickly spread to the entire bathroom. and 2- the hot-tub was NOT cleaned (scrubbed) when it was drained. There was a gross ring around the top of it that could be scraped off with our nails. The water was freshly changed, however. Third - My wife and I were hoping for a more private venue, but the hot-tub overlooks the house next door and it's really rather close. The renters next door had children in their hot-tub, which was in clear view of ours and made us feel a little awkward in our skimpy swimsuits. Fourth - the beautiful tile shower is a clear selling point of this property, but there is virtually no water pressure so the water kind of drips out of the shower head. The big beautiful shower is mostly really unusable except for the first few feet underneath the shower head. With all of that said, we did have an amazing trip and were very satisfied with the property. We drank our morning coffee while watching the spectacular view of the mountains. The big windows offer a clear view in case you don't want to sit outside. And we loved the coffee maker that's in the kitchen, it was versatile and allowed both kcups and grounds.

Great stay!

We arrived on Friday. The view is spectacular! The cabin was spacious and overall clean. There were a few places that could have been cleaner, such as the kitchen and the floors. The cabin does have well water. The sulfur smell was hard to look over, but not a deal breaker. Bring bottled water to drink!! The bedrooms do get stuffy at night but are equipped with box fans. There were plenty of towels, wash cloths, etc. We didn’t have any salt or pepper so if you plan on cooking you might want to bring some. The hot tub was spacious and easy to use. If you plan on coming in the winter, I highly suggest a 4x4 vehicle. The drive to the cabin is very steep. Overall, the cabin was a enjoyable stay and a nice getaway.

Beautiful views!

House was great. It was not as secluded or large as the pics made it seem. But the views were better than pictures can capture. Several very minor inconveniences (bedroom door knob broken). Overall, it was great!

The name says it all

This cabin is amazing. The check in process is so easy, and the owners were quick to respond with any questions, especially in the uncertain time. The view is incredible, that’s why you should choose this place. The property has everything you need. I would definitely recommend it!

Amazing

Breathtaking view is accurate! Amazing view of mountains all around. The cabin was so easy to find and the mountain road to get there was fun! When we arrived the cabin was clean and spotless. The kitchen had all the appliances you might need. The hot tub and porch were great for evenings after venturing to pigeon forge and Gatlinburg. Very easy to get to both locations, this cabin is far enough to feel secluded but minutes to the action. We had great weather and a great time!

We had a wonderful time and would love to stay again. The only thing we’d like to see different is, TVs in each room and the photo showed a jacuzzi tub which wasn’t in the master bath. Otherwise it was fabulous!!!

We had an amazing stay. The location is great and the view is even better. We had no trouble getting to Pigeon Forge or Gatlinburg. The view is amazing. If you want to experience the mountains, definitely stay here.

Beautiful place in the mountains!!!
