The apartment was clean and bright, with a lot of space for our family of six. Mary was helpful and provided a lot of good recommendations. She takes pride in the property and to shows. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were super clean. The parking was easily accessible and the apartment is walking distance to the historic centre, the lake and even a playground. It’s a great home base for exploring Lake Garda.

Absolutely amazing apartment. Beautifully and tastefully decorated. Spacious, clean, and comfortable. Fantastic location with stunning views from the balcony. Ferry is just across the street — a five minute walk at most. The center of town is minutes awayas well. The entire experience was made that much better thanks to the kindness, graciousness, and generosity of our host, Marida. Her lovely sister runs Garda Caffe around the corner and Marida sells her delicious wine there. Highly recommend this gem of an apartment.

Great location, friendly host, good apartment

We had a great stay at Desenzano. We were traveling with two young children and my mother so this apartment had plenty of space. It was clean and tidy, with everything you'd need for your stay. Fantastic location across the road from the water, near a playground and the pedestrian streets of the old town. The host was lovely and made sure we felt welcome.

Beautiful and in the center of town.

Spacious, beautiful views in the lovely town of Desenzano. Easy to discover the town on foot and the lake with the convenient marina and boat schedules. Highly recommend staying here. Mary is very helpful and a great host. We were her first Americans to stay so we felt very honored that she took time to guide us of to all Lake Garda has to offer. Thank you Mary!

Fast perfekt

Informations about our vacation in Desenzano. The accommodation was in the range of our expectations. The beds were fine, if you like harder mattresses, 2 bathrooms and an extra toilet ranged too. There were adequate towels and toilet paper available.  ;) A great livingroom to sit was also available.  Outside the balcony you could have a view to the Lake Garda. The kitchen was integrated into the living room a bit small but great enough to cook or prepare breakfast. A refrigerator with freezer was available too. There was also a great round table where we had our breakfasts. Unfortunately we have not found out how to get more hot water for showers, otherwise one may not be a wimp. The wireless connection was only useable with Whatsapp, the other attempts with other apps to connect to the Internet failed. The large and long garage was indeed ok, but two mid-range cars do not fit, if necessary. Perhaps two Fiat 500 have place enough. But everything was right, because the underground garage was lockable. And the last, we didn't know where we seperate our garbage. We couldn't find the right containers in the house. Desenzano and Lake Garda and the apartment are well worth a visit

Loved our stay

We have stayed for a week in July 2017 - 2 families with 2 kids each. The four bedrooms were perfect for us and it worked out very well. The apartment is a generous size and it is in a perfect spot. Easy walk to the ferry and to the town center. We did pay extra for parking in the building as there is no free parking anywhere nearby and it was very convenient. There is a grocery store across the street that carries the basics, if you want a better selection another one is about a mile down the road. Lots of cafes and restaurants nearby. Only one of the bedrooms (the biggest one) has an A/C so the other rooms do get a little hot in the summer heat - but if you put the bedroom A/C and the two other A/Cs in the living room on and opened the doors before going to bed it was bearable. It has a small but functional kitchen space - we usually used it to make breakfast and sometimes a quick dinner. It did have some basics already there which was nice - salt, pepper, olive oil, vinegar etc. The dishwasher detergent and laundry detergent was also provided. We loved sitting on the balcony in the morning and in the evening, so serene. The owner, Mary, is fantastic. Very responsive and helpful. She was waiting for us when we arrived and also had two mini bottles of local wine for us, very sweet and much needed after a long drive. She also provided us with some tips for restaurants and other stuff to do. The best part, of course, is the lake itself - Lago di Garda is beautiful. We have actually travelled all around the lake and would highly recommend that as the north is quite different than the south. We also took the kids to Gardaland and Caneva water park, they loved both and it was an easy drive from Desenzano. The internet was very good and reliable, worked reasonably well even when more than one device was connected. Overall, it was an amazing vacation.

Dejlig lejlighed med skøn terrasse og plads til en stor familie.Savnede dog nogle bedre køkkenfaciliteter. Især var redskaber ikke så gode. Der var sløve knive der ikke kunne anvendes til at tilberede mad.Men dette trækker nu ikke ned på den samlede vurdering af en dejligt ren og rummelig lejlighed

Highly recommend!

Traveled from the USA, stayed at the apartment for 6 nights with 6 adults and two children. I can’t tell you how pleased we were with the accommodations. 4 bedrooms and three full baths, plenty of living space with very nice furnishings. The view of Lake Garda is gorgeous, and location is absolutely perfect. Steps away from a grocery store, quaint shopping and excellent restaurants. Not to mention a couple blocks away from the port. Mary was an outstanding host. She offered to pick us up from the train station and helped us set-up transportation back to the airport. Mary was always available to help with anything we needed. This place is a gem. Thank you, Mary for all of your help!

Lovely Desenzano del Garda apartment!

Mary is such a gracious hostess. She picked us up from and dropped us off at the train station up the hill. When we had issues with a couple of the appliances, she responded right away. We found the apartment suited our needs. The rooms were large and comfortable, the bathrooms were great, although this won’t be the right place for anyone who likes to cook meals in, as the kitchen is very small and limited. It is very close to restaurants, cafes, the ferry stop and beaches. It is a great jump-off point for other lakeside villages and activities. I highly recommend this place!

Klasse Urlaub auch dank vieler Tipps der Vermieter

Wir haben zu fünft eine Woche in Desenzano verbracht und haben uns in der Wohnung sehr sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Zimmer waren sauber und liebevoll eingerichtet. Die Wohnung lag direkt am Gardasee, die Fußgängerzone des Ortes mit vielen Restaurants ist in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß zu erreichen. Auch der Bahnhof und ein kleiner Supermarkt waren bequem zu Fuß zu erreichen, sodass das Auto die ganze Woche über sicher in der Tiefgarage stehen bleiben konnte. Bei unserer Anreise haben wir viele sehr gute Tipps für Restaurants und Sehenswürdigkeiten von der Vermieterin bzw. ihrem Sohn erhalten. Auch dank der gemütlichen Wohnung war es ein sehr entspannter und gelungener Urlaub für uns.

Lovely apartment, Great location

We stayed at the apartment in August for 10 days 2 family's 4 adults 4 teenagers. The location of the apartment is brilliant, easy walking distance to all that Desenzano offers including the ferry, buses shops restaurants Supermarket and town center. The apartment is beautifully decorated with fantastic views of the Lake and was large enough to cater for all our needs, yes the kitchen area is small, but 8 of us managed and it has everything you would need in a holiday apartment, it can get quiet noisy from road traffic but you are in the center of town. We paid extra for parking at the apartment which is a must if you have a car. Air Conditioning - we thought when we booked Air con was in all the rooms, it wasn't only in the lounge and main bedroom, which in August is not ideal and it did get very hot in the other bedrooms but Mary has stated she is looking to add this for next year which would definatlely be an advantage. Mary is wonderful host and very responsive, she greeted us on arrival and is very knowledgeable about the area and has loads of useful information. All in All we had and absolutely fantastic time and cant wait to visit Lake Garda again Thank you Mary

Tolle Ferienwohnung mit toller Lage

Wir haben unseren Urlaub zu acht in der Ferienwohnung verbracht und waren sehr zufrieden damit. In der Wohnung gibt es genügend Platz. Die Innenstadt von Desenzano, sowie Strände und Beachvolleyballfelder sind in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß zu erreichen.

Tolle Unterkunft bei toller Lage

2 junge Pärchen haben ein verlängertes Wochenende am Gardasee verbracht. Es war alles fußläufig zu erreichen. Für 4 Personen war die Ferienwohnung geräumig. Jedes Paar hatte sein eigenes Bad und es fehlte an nichts. Die Dusche hätte vielleicht etwas wärmer sein können.Aber somit war für die morgendliche Erfrischung gesorgt. Rundum war es ein sehr sehr gelungener Aufenthalt in einer tollen Unterkunft. Wir waren sicher nicht das letzte Mal dort.

Posto bellissimo,vista lago, arredato con grande gusto.

Un posto delizioso. Abbiamo soggiornato comodamente in otto. Ci sono 4 camere dal letto con comodi materassi, i 3 bagni sono spaziosi e con box doccia ampi. Una bella sala da pranzo con gradevole vista lago. Abbiamo avuto a disposizione anche due comodi box auto. La signora Marida è stata molto attenta alle nostre richieste, cordiale e disponibile. Speriamo di ritornare in futuro.

Große Ferienwohnung mit traumhaftem Blick

Wir haben eine Woche in der großzügig geschnittenen Wohnung verbracht. Die Wohnung ist auf dem neuesten Stand: moderne Bäder (incl. Handtücher und Toilettenpapier), schöner moderner Laminatboden, liebevolle Einrichtung, Parkplatz in der Tiefgarage, Fahrstuhl, Klimaanlage und WIFI (sehr gute Leistung). Auf dem kleinen Balkon kann man gemütlich zu dritt essen mit Blick auf den See, im Wohnzimmer finden am großen Esstisch bis zu 8 Personen Platz. Man ist zu Fuß in 2 Min. am See oder in Desenzano. Den ausführlichen Beschreibungen der anderen Reisenden können wir uns nur anschließen. Die Küche ist zum Zubereiten eines guten Frühstücks oder kleinen Mahlzeiten geeignet. Unsere Vermieterin Marida war sehr hilfsbereit und hat uns wunderbare Tipps über die Golfplätze, Restaurants und Sehenswürdigkeiten in der Umgebung geben. Danke Marida!

Fantastic apartment, beautifully furnished, great

This is a very large apartment with suited our family (2 adults and 3 kids) brilliantly. The host is fantastic - friendly, welcoming and flexible. We had a fantastic time here as you are only a few mi uses walk from the centre of Desenzano. The apartment is beautiful to live in, with lovely decor, furniture, colours, lampshades and other Italian glassware. There are two shower rooms and and wc. The bedrooms are also beautiful with lovely bed linen, lots of towels, nice shutters and lots of windows. The combination of all of the above led to a memorable, lovely stay for us. Thanks, Marida!

We had lovely stay in a well equipped apartment, at the centre of an ideal place to explore the lake

2 couples and an adult singe occupied Blue Lake apartment. It was ideal for what we wanted. It has good spacious accommodation, it is well equipped, has a good view of the Lake, and is just a 5 minute walk into the town's centre. You will read from other reviews that it has a small kitchen area - but we needed nothing more than this. There is definitely a bit of plug juggling needed with the appliances but important one, the coffee machine was more often than not plugged in. It is not in the quietest location, but then you are in a town ( and we live in the country). Everything was clean, tidy and very well presented - it was a delight to meet Mary on the first day. The town is one of the largest on the Lake which therefore gives you plenty to do and see - whilst some of the other towns seemed to be more restricted. We particularly enjoyed the markets. There was one throughout the weekend, which was smaller and seemed to have a more select group of traders. On the Tuesday there was an enormous market that took over the whole town and had everything that you could imagine available. The bistro immediately below the apartment is extremely good - don't disregard because it is so close! I would happily recommend it to any group of 3 couples, or a large family.

wunderschöne geräumige Wohnung mit Blick auf den See

Die Wohnung ist in tadellosem Zustand mit ausreichend Platz für 6 Personen. Die Vermieter sind sehr zuvorkommend und die zwei Garagenplätze direkt im Haus. Die Übergabe war unkompliziert und der Empfang herzlich. Ein Supermarkt ist keine 3 Gehminuten entfernt und die Fußgängerzone der Stadt beginnt vor der Tür. Wir kommen wieder und können dieses Appartement nur weiter empfehlen.

Superb! First Class Accommodation.

This is a beautiful apartment conveniently located within 3 minutes walk of the town centre and ferries. The accommodation has been professionally decorated to very high standards and is immaculately presented. The beds are comfortable with memory foam mattresses and very attractive bedding. The three double bedrooms are spacious with plenty of storage and the single bedroom also has sufficient storage.The seating is cosy and more than adequate for five or six people. The dining table was beautifully laid out with pretty china and cutlery. We felt at home the moment we walked in. Lovely bathrooms with big showers and lots of hot water. The kitchen area is a little small but is adequate with everything provided. A note for British people - take a travel kettle if you want tea as Italian accommodation tends to provide coffee making machines only. We also made use of the washing machine - iron and clothes-airer are also provided.There is a nice balcony to sit out on with views of the lake. There is a lift in the building which was great as I took my elderly mother with me. Marida, the owner is absolutely lovely and welcoming and went out of her way to help with any questions and queries and made us feel so welcome. I would return to this apartment anytime and hope to do so before too long. This is without doubt 5 star accommodation and a great place to stay.

Super Ferienwohnung für 6-7 Personen

Wir haben zu sechst 5 Nächte in der Ferienwohnung verbracht. Die Wohnung ist sehr großzügig geschnitten, man kann sich auch mal zurückziehen. Zu Fuss ist man in 2 Minuten in der Innenstadt von Desenzano und an der Uferpromenade. Die Auswahl an Restaurants und Geschäften ist sehr groß und für jeden Geschmack etwas dabei. Tipp: Wenns mal keine Pizza sein soll, besucht Johns Burger Restaurant, zu Fuss 5 Minuten von der Wohnung entfernt und wahnsinnig gutes Essen mit viel Liebe zubereitet. Mit den drei Bädern gibt es morgens auch keinen Stau, insgesamt ist alles sauber und gepflegt. Der Balkon ist zwar nicht groß genug für 6 Personen, aber der Blick auf den See ist sehr schön. Zwei Stellplätze in der Tiefgarage ersparen die Parkplatzsuche. Immer Dienstags findet in Desenzano der Straßenmarkt statt, quasi direkt vor der Haustür. Einen Stern abzug gibt es wegen des sehr schlechten WLANs, die Bandbreite reicht gerade mal, um eine WhatsApp zu verschicken, alles andere funktioniert nicht. Und die Handtücher waren schlecht gewaschen (15 Min. auf 30 Grad) und rochen streng. Dank Waschmaschine in der Wohnung konnte dies schnell behoben werden, trotzdem ein fader Beigeschmack. Insgesamt trotzdem eine Empfehlung wert.

Top Lage, tolle Unterkunft

Sehr geräumiges, sauberes, neu ausgestattetes Appartement in Top Lage. Alles vor der Haustür: Altstadt, Restaurants, Bars, Geschäfte, dienstags Markt, Hafen, Strand, See. Die Vermieterin hat uns hervorragend betreut und tolle Empfehlungen gegeben. Wir konnten von hier aus viele Ausflüge in die Umgebung machen. Die beiden Autos waren kühl und sicher in der Tiefgarage des Hauses untergebracht. Wir haben uns sehr wohl und sicher gefühlt und kommen gerne wieder.

Top Lage, tolle Ausstattung

Sehr geräumiges Appartement mit Klimaanlage, es war alles sehr sauber und die Lage war optimal für Ausflüge in die Umgebung, am Abend zu Fuß durch die Altstadt, den See entlang spazieren, der Markt war am Dienstag direkt vor der Haustür, die beiden Autos waren kühl und sicher untergebracht in der Tiefgarage des Hauses. Für uns war es der perfekte Urlaub, wir kommen gerne wieder.
