Pros - good location, well supplied, easy checkinCons- House looks shabby and needs a deep cleaning and new paint, updating. Bathrooms not really clean.Furniture looks like a garage sale. The sheets were old and thin and the towels were old and dingy. Bedspread on king size bed was horrible, although there was nicer stuff in closet. I saw a cockroach in the kitchen. Had to take batteries out of one of the smoke detectors as it kept beeping. We were asked to strip beds, clean stove and dishes, take out trash. This really bugs me when we are paying a cleaning fee

Was a very pleasant stay. The history of the home and the family that built it was truly a joy to read about. My family too has been in NM for generatioms and you could feel the warmth of family. We loved all the space and the work that was put in to add touches of modern style. This would definately be a place I would recommend for longer stays and we will most likely look to book again next year!

Great location & plenty of room. We were only 3 adults but definitely a complete family home away from home. A patio a 2nd floor deck, 2 bathrooms & a carport were great extras.

Location, location, location. This property is perfect for a family. The host was extremely respnsive, and the home is centrally located to everything you might wish to see. A short walk to Old Town and easy acess to stores and the interstate. Most attractions are within a 10 to 15 minute drive. Safe and secure private off street parking is also a major plus. Would rent again.

The house was lovely with plenty of room, clean, and comfortable beds and living room area. Definitely soacious for 4 people.The location was perfect as it's only a block from Old Town. Earl was super friendly and quick to respond. I'll definitely be staying here again!

Close to Old Town

Great location, close to old town. We walked to old town and the Sawmill market almost every night. Don't miss the Sawmill Market as we ate there almost every night, pizza is insane. The host is great and takes care of any issues promptly.We would gladly say here again.

We really enjoyed staying at this property. It was just a few blocks from Old Town, therefore we did not have to use our vehicle very much to get around. The owner’s response to our questions, were swift and the instructions for the house were left right inside of the house. Thank you for a wonderful stay and we hope to return again.

Casa de mi Tia

The neighborhood was nice and quiet. We all felt safe and secure in the property. Access to Old Town via walking was super convenient. I would recommend this place to anyone wanting to stay in Alberquerque. A suggestion...adding another couch or a couple of chairs in the living room would be nice.

The house is nice. Really big for a family. The beds are older with box spring and plastic covers making it somewhat difficult to sleep. Other than that it was a really nice stay

Great place to stay and close to lots of fun places to shop and eat!

Check in and check out process was easy and the home was clean and comfortable. Old Town shopping and local places to eat are so close. On a personal note I got to visit the Candy Lady and get some of the rock candy they used for Breaking Bad! WiFi works great and we really enjoyed our stay with two teenage girls. Highly recommended!

There was a mix up with check in, but the host happily resolved it to everyone’s satisfaction. The location is great and the home is very comfy.

Christmas in Old Town

Great location for Christmas activities. Old Town and the River of Lights were both pretty cool. The House is good sized and comfortable to stay at.

Good spacious budget lodging for groups

Much to like about Casita de Mi Tia: the place is definitely clean; the kitchen is large and easy to use; the beds we used were comfortable; it was warm and comfortable in the middle of a very cold night; we loved finding Hydrox cookies and other snacks beckoning from a basket on the kitchen counter. Its best feature is how walkable it is to the Old Town Plaza though bring a flashlight if you’re doing it at night. There were some interior issues that will need attending to for people who plan a longer stay than our’s. I will write to Earl privately about these ao he can attend to them as well as he did to the couple of small needs we had.

Another Stay at La Casa de mis Abuelos

This was our third stay. Clearly, we love the house! It's convenient to everything we need to do, it's very private and secure, and Earl is an incredibly responsive host! The only downside during our stay was learning that Monica's El Portal restaurant, at the corner with Rio Grande Boulevard, has closed.

Great Family Vacation Spot

Earl was a great host for this lovely property! We had a wonderful stay. He was responsive and helpful the entire time. We loved our trip in ABQ, and a huge part was staying in this home. It was clean, warm, and welcoming.

I am bilingual and have lived in Alb. all my life. I am also proud dad of 3 beautiful children and love spending time with my family.

This Property is suited for folks who would like to get away from the busy streets of Albuquerque, but is just minutes away from mostly everything. Including the transit system, I - 40 interstate. Old Town Plaza, etc. I grew up on this very same street and know most of the families in our neighborhood. You will love the nice peaceful area. Plenty of parking on the property. Lots of lighting for security. AC and Heating with all of the amenities available to you.

This an Adobe Style home the four base wall are made with thick mud bricks. So the place stays nice and cool in the summer and warm and cozy in the winter. Private cozy patio where you and your friends and family can enjoy the fire pit or BBQ grill.
