Beautiful and relaxing

This was our first time staying here, but we will definitely be back! The house is beautiful, has everything you need for your stay and is in a great location! The owners are awesome, leaving little touches like muffins and flowers, and they are very easy to communicate with!

Weekend getaway

The stay was awesome. We were greeted with delicious cupcakes and a nice note. The location was great just a block off the beach and the hosts were easy to contact and quick to answer any questions we had. Would recommend The Mermaid to anyone looking to enjoy the Mississippi Gulf Coast.

Pass Christian

If you want to get away from the crowds of the Gulf Coast this is a wonderful place to stay. A short walk to the beach and an easy drive to some wonderful shopping and restaurants. The house is very well appointed, comfortable with secure parking. Our hosts were very easy to work with.

Great Stay

We loved our two nights at this home. It’s furnished with lovely things and it’s competently run by friendly, prompt people. The fresh flowers and bakery treats left for us were such a thoughtful element. The proximity to the shore is perfect and the surrounding homes are beautiful to see. We slept well on firm mattresses and enjoyed our time immensely. We would stay again.

Beach side getaway!

Perfectly located within sight of the beach and ocean! Easy access to beaches, short drive to restaurants and casinos ,quiet and comfortable! Every thing we wanted! We’ll be back!

Great hosts! Really easy to work with. Super clean and comfortable. Every detail was just right. Wonderful beds, too, which is always a great surprise. Highly recommend this great property.

Amazing stay!

My best friend and I were looking for somewhere to meet for a short weekend beach get-away. This property was everything described and more!!! The house was just lovely and so well equipped. The owners even left us a delicious tray of chocolate covered strawberries for our weekend. We will definitely stay here again!

Hidden Gem of the Gulf

This place was all we could have asked for and more. Quiet, close to everything, and just a couple minute walk to the beach. Kurt and Dana were excellent hosts and would recommend their place to anyone. Thanks for letting us crash at your place for the week!

Heaven on Earth

My family and I had the most incredible stay! Every part of the home is simply perfection!! From the location, to the cleanliness, to the decor, to the wonderful little touches that that owners leave for each guest. Perfect spot

Super clean and comfortable. Owners couldn’t be easier to communicate with. I plan my fishing trips with this home’s availability. Have stayed lots of places, but this spot just hits all the notes.

Loved this house!

This is the perfect place for us. Clean, spacious and comfortable. Great place to enjoy some family time with our college daughter. Kurt and Dana are awesome! They communicated exceptionally well and are very helpful. Five plus stars!!!!

Anniversary Weekend

We spent two nights at this lovely cottage for an anniversary trip. The location is great, very short walk to the beach and even a beach view. Lots of great restaurants close by too! The cottage was so clean and very well equipped. We had fresh flowers and the yummiest chocolate covered strawberries on the table when we arrived. I would definitely recommend this property!

Great Location and fully stocked

The owners were super easy to contact. The house is so well kept and fully stocked including beach toys and dog crate. I just wish that the yard was fully fenced. Walking distance to eating, and the farmers market was great on Saturday. We will return.

Happy as a Mermaid!

This amazing property was absolutely perfect for our week stay in Pass Christian. The home was so much more than the listing could ever suggest; truly a home, not just a house. The kitchen was perfect for cooking multiple nights and had everything we needed. The home is just off the beach - the white picket fences made the stroll delightful! The beds and pillows were the most comfortable we've slept on (yes, we even googled the brands to buy for home!) I work remote, and enjoyed sitting on the front porch with my laptop. I can see why this rental has five-stars for everything. It's as perfect as they come!

Friends Fun

Lovely property, lovely home, lovely town…the quaint quiet atmosphere of Pass Christian was perfect. The home and hosts were wonderful. We were greeted with fresh flowers and chocolates. Necessities were provided. The home was in a safe area and we felt it easy to nest for the week. Kurt was quick to respond to an air-conditioning concern even on a Sunday evening. The beach was perfect to walk in the morning and the location made it easy to travel to neighboring towns for touring sights and shopping. The check in and check out process was simple. What more could you want for a vacation stay?!

Perfect in every way!

Upon arrival we knew we had made a fabulous choice for our Thanksgiving getaway! Fresh flowers and a sparkling clean home. What a thoughtful touch to have left a gift card to the local bookstore/coffee shop, which is within walking distance of this precious home. We are a military family who fell in love with the coast when it was time to retire. Original southerners by birth, we find the gulf coast offers not only famous southern hospitality, but a rich blend of the various coastal culture from New Orleans to Florida (not to mention fantastic foods) that cannot be duplicated anywhere else on planet earth. We know this because we have traveled all over planet earth! The gulf coast is a special place and we consider it a privilege to be able to share it with others.
