Family getaway

We had a pleasant stay. The house is in a great location by the bridge that allows easy access to the mountain bike trails. The house offers lots of activities for adults and children. The great room upstairs is open and is accommodating for the whole family. The house could use some updating. The smaller suite bed is old as well as the furniture. The bunk room beds are also old. The pillows are not comfortable. The outdoor table is wobbly and although advertised, the bikes are not in good shape. We needed to rent our own for people who did not bring any. Another problems we ran into is that when you rent through a third party like VRBO you do not have access to the golf course or driving range. Overall experience was fine.

AMAZING

We loved this place! So many activities: corn hole, ping pong, air hockey, basketball, big jenga, lots of games. The deck seating was the best we've experienced in Sunriver. Great for hanging out at sunset, and eating dinner outside. The house itself was comfortable, spacious, and beautifully decorated. Location was great, a quick walk to the river (Cardinal Bridge) through the backyard. 10/10!

Nice place. With some TLC this could be dialed in.

All-in-all the place is nice. Good for several families with kids. The main issue is the house has seen better days. It needs a good month off in the summer to go through and do maintenance. They plan on building a new deck, which will be awesome, but go inside and uninstall/reinstall the dishwasher so it's installed straight and has the ability to keep the dish racks in, go through the master bedroom downstairs and redo the wall sockets that no longer hold the plugs in place, and please, for the safety of the kids, make sure the bunkbeds are way more stable. It's all routine maintenance stuff that once dialed in, this is actually a really nice place with bikes, air hockey, ping pong, and more.

Family get away

Overall the stay was pleasant for our party of 10. The house is in a great location close to the river which provided easy access to the mountain bike trails over the bridge. The upstairs is a great place for the family to gather along with the upstairs patio. Lots of activities for kids and grownups to do at the house. The kitchen is well stocked. Overall communication was good with the home management. Areas that I see could use improvement. The house is a little dated even with the recent updates. The outdoor table works but needs to be replaced . One of the recliners does not work. The downstairs bunk room and smaller suite mattresses are old along with the pillows. The house could use dual heating and cooling systems for the upstairs and downstairs living areas. They advertise bicycles but they are old and not in great shape. We needed to rent additional bikes. Lastly, it should be known that when you rent through a company that is not directly associated with sunriver resorts, you do not have access to golf or the golf range within the resort and have to play somewhere else.

Spacious home

Plenty of space for 10 people. 2 large en suite bedrooms. The bunks were a bit wobbly. Tons of games and puzzles, along with Cornhole, ping pong, air hockey and food all. Well appointed, but well used.

OK overall

This house was OK for our needs. There were just 2 adults, so we didn't use a lot of the fun games and things the hosts have in the house. The cleaning was just OK, there was dust on the blinds, a few bits of trash under furniture and a few visible cobwebs up high. The house could also use a bit of TLC. There are some missing and torn screens, a couple of can lights weren't flush against the ceiling and the outside paint is peeling in places. The hot tub seemed almost new and we really enjoyed that.

Beautiful Home in SunRiver

This home was clean, warm and inviting. The local Vacasa branch was communicative and available to us for our needs. The kitchen is well stocked. The hot tub is lovely and there is so much outdoor lounging space. Definitely worth a stay here.

Nice home - way off the beaten path

We stayed here for 4 days with kids and grandkids. Two story house with 2 large MBs (one up, one down). One room two bunk beds (unstable and wobbly), and another room for our teenage grandson. Main living is on top floor. Furniture was nice and rooms are very spacious. Good WiFi. Refrigerator has an ice machine, though the water tube ran slow. Garage has lots of games, air hockey, table tennis, corn hole. Spacious driveway for kids to play, and it's on a cul-de-sac. There were many bikes, but none in working order. Hubs/son spent a couple hours reworking brakes, putting on handlebars, maintenance, etc. Wheels were bent or out of working order. This was our biggest disappointment. Don't advertise "bikes" when none are actually functional. This house is way deep into Sunriver (not close to amenities, but we didn't mind.) SHARC passes were a nice benefit. All in all not a bad place, but could use some tender loving care. Bathrooms need updated. Sheets/towels are on the thin side. Looks like they may be doing some updates on the house (plans in a binder), but not sure when. Again, not a bad place and it worked for the grands, which was the goal.

Great place & location

House was perfect for hanging out together yet was set up to ensure everyone could spread out comfortably. Some of the bikes weren't working but the mgmt team was very quick to respond & help. We had a great time!

Amazing Stay!

The house was absolutely amazing for our family. We were very comfortable the entire week we were there and the house was able to comfortably accommodate multiple families. The location next to the river was amazing as it allowed us to do a river float and get out basically right at the house. Highly recommend using the Besson Day Use location as a pushing off point for a float- was a perfect 2-3 hour float with kids. Would love to see the bike quality improve a bit as most of them were not functional and we needed to rent. Overall, amazing stay and we are hoping to come back next year!

The perfect set up

I booked this house once we decided on Bend for our annual golf trip. The house was perfect for our group. It was spacious, clean, convenient and easy to access. The floorplan is great for larger groups. Our group was all adults and we each had our own rooms. Having the ping pong table in the garage was a nice addition and made for some added competition when we returned from the golf course each day. I would definitely book this house again and would love to take my family back to Bend/Sun River!

Really Fun House

Great place but need improvements

So I had read the previous reviews and figured all the repairs had been made but half bikes are still broken. The air conditioning was off and the heat was on when we arrived and we were dying had to pull out the fans. The bottom works but the upstairs does not keep it cool. It's a beautiful house but needs some attention. So used to coming into vrbos and seeing a nice coffee selection nope nothing no sugar we bought coffee and creamer had to buy sugar we left it for the next family. But the walls down the stairs are so dirty because there's no handrails. Tons of stains on the carpets not color but so crusty. I think someone peed down the wall next to the toilet I dont know how else liquid lines on the paint like that. The hot tub is at 96 degrees and the jets only work on 1 seat. Then this morning I had set my clothes on the floor and brand new socks out of package I get out of shower and there was fleas on my socks. It was awesome place to bring my dog but he has been on prescription flea meds every month and does not have fleas. I even have records but then the pans under the oven were all covered in grease so I washed them before we put them back even though we didn't use them. But the games were cool it was great family time and the sharc passes are amazing opportunity. Lots of room amazing back porch high quality recliners. Just need some financial improvements I would start with the bikes and hot tubs and fix the a/c Possibly flea treatments with the pet fee $.

Great for Our 2 families…skiers & non skiers!

This house is perfect for 2 families. It was really nice having 2 master bedrooms & the bunk room for the teens! Kitchen was spacious & had everything needed for preparing meals & lots of dishes & silverware! The location w/in SunRiver is nice & quiet and great access to hiking trails & river…but almost 10 min in from the entrance & village…so not super convenient for walking there. Overall we were really happy with our stay!

Lots of activities for the family

My family and I enjoyed our stay and took advantage all the games and things to do. We took the bikes for a ride, played pingpong, Cornhole, and so much more. There are definitely some things that need some attention around the house, like missing slats from the upstairs bed, no propane for the patio heaters, some unusable bikes that require repairs, broken ice maker in freezer, the list goes on. The lack of attention to detail and special touches was disappointing when paying this much. But overall, the cabin vibes and the location is just what we wanted.

Very cozy

This house was very cozy. We were pleased with it and all of the bikes and games they had. Lots of dishes and seating area. Also, very close to the river, which we got to bike ride to and swim in. We found a rope swing past the bridge too, for those who’d like to go look for it. We were disappointed only by 2 things: the hot tub was off when we arrived & we had to call the tub service place to get instructions on how to turn it on, since there were no instructions. Kids never got to use it the first night and we were only able to use it late and even then, it wasn’t hot enough. That’s one of the main reasons we got the house. The other thing is the downstairs king suite, it was amazing but the shower didn’t have any hot water. Overall, a great stay with terrific communication & customer service.

Great - location, quiet, awesome outdoor spaces, layout, excellent for families, quick maintenance response to issues, if maintenance issues fixed would absolutely stay again Not great - leaking ceiling, moldy smell in certain areas, extremely strong pet urine smell throughout the home - needs good deep cleaning or replace flooring

Perfect location - fast walk to river put in, scenic bridge overlook and the National Forest trails. House is perfect for family - inside and outside games were in great shape. Hot tub available. Very little to complain about - we had a great week.
