The host was most helpful, answering our questions in good time. The house was extremely clean and in good decorative order. The kitchen was very well equipped, with enough pots, pans, baking trays, knives and other utensils for us to cook Christmas dinner with ease.

My partner and I really enjoyed our stay at this residence for the weekend and would definitely return and recommend. It felt very homely, was nicely decorated and exceptionally clean on arrival. Communication and response time was excellent and the owner was very accommodating when another nights stay was required.

Great location, great stay

Property is beautiful. My family enjoyed our stay. Yvonne is great to deal with. Prime location to everything you can do in Manchester. House is fully stocked for convienence, for guests from out of the country. Will be staying here again!

Exceeded expectations

My friend and I spent a week here. The place was beautiful, spotless and very well kept. Loved the small touches. Nice quiet neighbourhood. We looked forward to coming back to the place after a busy day of shopping. Would return in a flash. If you don't have a car, the train is easily accessible (about 5-10 min walk). Only drawback is there is no shop or newsstand close by if you need to pick up something (there's a McDonalds). I'd definitely recommend this property.

Idyllic retreat near Manchester

A fabulous house, great facilities, very comfortable, tucked away in a beautiful square. Yvonne ensures I had everything I needed and the house was a great place to explore Salford, Manchester and surrounding areas - it was a real trip down memeory Lane for me and amazing to see how much Salford and Manchester have changed in 20 years. I’ll definitely return if I get a chance.

Very nice house

This is a really nice property in a nice little leafy square, easy striking distance to Manchester City Center. You will need to use a cab or uber most of the time, but it's quick and cheap enough. The picture of the pub in the listing is slightly misleading as it is just under a mile away. The house is very well equipped, although we had some issues with TV channels that would not show properly. Kitchen is well outfitted and open plan living on the ground floor is great for a group. Overall a really nice property I would recommend to anyone looking for a base to explore Manchester and the surrounding area. Very handy for Salford University and walking distance to Salford Crescent train station, too.

Lovely short break in Salford

My husband, younger son and I stayed here for 4 nights while visiting my other son who is at Manchester University / RNCM. It is a lovely holiday rental and a lot of care has gone into making it welcoming and comfortable. It is very well equipped, warm and there is plenty of hot water. It is spacious and clean with fast and free Wifi. The location is brilliant and I think you would be hard-pressed to find anywhere else so quiet and secluded with its own parking space in Manchester, yet so close to public transport making it very easy to get around. It is right next to Salford University and an easy bus ride to Manchester University. It is only a very short walk to Salford Crescent station and relatively easy to drive to also. There were a couple of small negatives for us - we didn't find the king-sized bed very comfortable and the mattress made us roll together, and that might put us off going for a longer stay. Also, we have stayed in many holiday cottages, but we have never before been charged for using the washing machine and £5 seems quite steep especially as the tumble dryer wasn't working. However, to be fair, this is made clear on the property description so we did know it would be the case. Overall a very pleasant stay and a property that I would recommend to others.

Fantastic place to stay while in Manchester!

The property was well appointed, clean and super convenient to major thoroughfares! Very comfortable and tucked in a quiet location. Landlord was very detailed about directions which was extremely helpful for us. We would definitely stay there again!

Lovely house

A lovely house. Well equipped. Situated in a quiet square so we could relax but have the city on our doorstep. Lots to see and do both in Salford and Manchester. We hope to return to this little beauty!

Wonderful getaway just outside the city

We couldn't have been more pleased with this beautiful home! Yvonne was gracious and accommodating and our stay was wonderful. The home is absolutely beautiful and tucked in the corner of a quiet square adjacent to the University of Salford, an easy walk from the train station. It's tastefully appointed and includes everything a traveler could need; the photos don't do it justice. Our only disappointment was that we only booked a single night here and so wish we could have stayed longer. We were visiting the Uni of Manchester; if our daughter decides to enroll there we'll definitely contact Yvonne for future visits. Absolutely perfect experience.

Great location

We stayed here for 6 nights in order to attend a Manchester United game. The property is in a great location only a 3 minute walk from the Salford Crescent train station (ask for Keith if you need any help getting around) and only a 10 minute train ride into the heart of Manchester. The property is in a quiet square next to the University of Salford. The kitchen is well stocked with equipment. The freezer is on the small side (especially compared to what we are used to in the States) so keep that in mind if you are buying groceries for a lengthy stay. Speaking of groceries there is a very good store about a 15 minute walk from the property called Sainsbury's, which has everything you could possibly need. The bedrooms are large and the beds comfortable. The bath is also very large with a separate shower and tub. Overall the property is very clean and well taken care of. The owner was fantastic to work with and was very responsive to my inquires about the area. Can't recommend this property highly enough. I hope to return in the future!

Excellent Property

We stayed here for 5 days over the New Year period as our son was attending Manchester General hospital for an operation. Despite the circumstances we loved our stay in this apartment. It is in an excellent location for getting about Manchester, and situated in a quiet residential square. The property was clean and very well equipped. Not quite the weather for enjoying the garden, but would be very pleasant come warmer times of the year. Owner was always quick to respond to any communication. Certainly recommend to others.

Awesome Property

This home was beautiful. We were very pleased we rented this house for our vacation. The home was perfect for our family, and came with everything needed to feel home away from home. We would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend this property to anyone. We were close to the city center and only a short walk from the nearest train station. Located in a quiet cul-de-sac, I doubt we could have found any more of a perfect rental home for our family. Thank you for making our vacation even more memorable.

Set in a back water of Manchester which is a beautiful Edwardian Square. In spring you have the cherry blossom trees and in winter the snow. It is an old fire station which moved many years ago. Parking on the cobbled drive is free but it is warden controlled elsewhere.
The latest very fast broadband is included in the price.
Old Trafford football club, the Chill Factore, and the Trafford Centre which is the famous shopping centre, are all close by.
