Wayland Square

We enjoyed our summer stay in Wayland Square. It is a very convenient location for visiting all areas of RI & only 1 hour from Boston.

Outstanding experience in Providence

Everything in the apartment unit was perfect. Due to covid, we rather eat or stay at the unit a great deal of time and I can assure it is completely equipped in all regards to make the stay a trouble-free experience. From all, i mean, all appliances, cooking ware, basic spices, oil, etc in the kitchen to the laundry needs, etc. Bed is ultra comfortable with two kinds of pillows (4 in total) for every taste. Big enough for my daughter to study in one place and I holding my job’s calls in another totally independent space. The apartment unit is beautiful decorated and the neighborhood is as gorgeous as the apartment, just meters from pharmacy, beautiful cafe’s, restaurantes, stores. The location is excellent, walking distance to Brown and downtown and just a few blocks away from the beautiful running/walking path that goes along the park and the river. I enjoyed so much going for a Run in the mornings, stopping by for a delicious coffe and pastries and stretching in the huge terrace (which also is perfect for a late afternoon cozy happy hour). A well-though place with attention to details and property manager’s ultra nice and available 24/7.

Beautiful place and excellent location!

Beautiful apartment in lovely historic home. Furnishings were clean and comfortable and kitchen has everything you need. The location is great, walking to all my the shops and restaurants in the square and just a little bit longer walk to Brown. Check in/our is easy. Thanks!

Wayland Square is comprised of several unique and charming cafes, restaurants, bookstores and boutique shopping. Combining the cool, quiet suburban life with being within a short walk to downtown Providence, the East Side of Providence is a friendly place for families, students and professionals alike. Short walk to Brown and RISD.
Easy access to public transit with a bus stop just across the street. A quick 5 minute walk to Brown and 10 minute walk to RISD. Enjoy a stroll to Blackstone Boulevard, Thayer Street, Hope Street, and the art district of Hope Village, all are within walking distance or a quick drive. A short distance to the river, and India Point Park, take a nice bike ride on the bike path from India Point running along the water all the way to historic Bristol. You can easily make your way downtown, to the theatre district and Waterfire. Also, downtown you will find Zip cars are conveniently located as well as the bus and train station. T.F Green airport is a 15 minute drive away. Enjoy a ferry ride to Historic Newport or Block Island and relax on the beautiful beaches or take a winery tour. Prefer to take the drive to Newport and enjoy the scenic route it is about a 40 minutes. Boston and Cape Cod are about an hour's drive.
