This suite is located smack-dab in the middle of Providence. You're not only going to love its spaciousness, you're also going to love its cozy, homey feel conveniently located in the heart of Fox Point within walking distance to Brown, RISD, and some of the best restaurants Providence has to offer!

Around the suite you'll find donut themed décor inspired by the famous PV Donuts (less than a 5 minute walk away). This large open space provides the perfect getaway for a couple or small family.

Enter through the silver door and our suite awaits on the 2nd floor up two small flights of stairs. Upon entrance you will be greeted with a large welcoming foyer area with a cozy bench & coat rack. Straight ahead is the half bath/ laundry area. To the left of the foyer is the main living space. This includes a couch, sofa, flat screen tv, dedicated work space with a brand new printer & a dining room table.

To the left of the living room/ dining area is a fully stocked kitchen (including a coffee maker, toaster & tea kettle) with an island that seats two. There is also a small table with two stools by a huge open window space that looks out onto all the restaurants and shops. This spot is perfect for your morning coffee!

If you take a right upon entrance you will see a beautiful full length mirror and to the right is the bedroom, which includes a queen size bed and a large closet filled with hangers. The bedroom has an en suite full bathroom, which includes towels, face towels, hand soap, cotton swabs, magnified mirror, hair dryer & body wash.

Great Spot in a Fun Neighborhood

We were stayed here when we were in town for work. The parking was super convenient and the apartment was great. It’s a fun neighborhood with lots of walkable restaurants.

Convenient to just about everything!

We enjoyed our stay. The unit was comfortable for our purposes. Busy weekend made for a lot of noise outside in the evenings, but otherwise fine.

Fantastic Location

My son attended Brown Pre College, so this was my home away from home for the week. I absolutely loved the location and the flat was perfect for me. It’s very close to great restaurants. I walked around the river everyday, felt very safe, and enjoyed every minute. The hosts had amazing communication, and I loved their “welcome” email with restaurant suggestions. I highly recommend staying here!

Location!

This location is absolutely ideal for anyone looking to stay in Providence. A very safe neighborhood with tons of coffee shops, food, breweries, shops, etc. within walking distance. The flat was very clean and large. The reserved parking was a really nice feature! 🙂

Great Location for the Region

This was a great location for the region. It's a quick commute to and from the airport. It's a very walkable neighborhood and also a great place to be if you want to take a day trip to Cape Cod or Newport.

Perfect Providence place.

We could not be more happy with this clean, bright, contemporary Providence flat. The appliances were new, the neighborhood was rich with things to do. We give our highest recommendation for others to also stay at this site. We will be sure to stay here on future visits to Providence.

Perfect and comfortable

Stayed here while my daughter attended Brown PreCollege and it was a great spot for me to land. Made for a perfect getaway for me to get some work done, feel safe and comfortable, and take in the city. A great home away from home. Thankful for the attention to detail and the communication from the owners. Would happily stay here again. ◡̈

Stay in Providence for WaterFire Aug 2024

We are from Scotland and on a US road trip, visiting 6 cities and staying in Providence to, see the city, visit Newport and for the WaterFire river lighting event. The property location is great, parking (cost extra?) was really handy and we had a great time there. only a few minor comments. Strangely all cups and glasses were plastic came as a surprise, (a lot of broken floor tiles, I suspect is the reason why), bowls etc were made of China, just odd. Check-in was a shambles did receive door code until minutes before check in, asked for a couple of hours later check out and this offered at an extra cost to accommodate cleaner, although apartment was empty that night, so presumably not getting cleaned that day. The apartment was dusty in some rooms, probably because the dryer external vent was broken and not fixed properly. The apartment is on a busy corner so expect road noise.

Property issues

Listing does not fall in a “luxury” category as stated 1 Entry way into building was trashy, dirty floor and piles of mail all over floor 2 Entrance way lights erratic at night leaving stairs dark 3 Minimally furnished,no dresser in BR for clothes, only 1 reading little light 4 Bathroom light unable to use due to very loud fan running all the time, only 1 door on shower 5 Oven doesn’t work, icemaker broken, no trays for ice, no sink plug in kitchen sink to fill sink to do dishes. 6 very noisy street corner 7 Only able to use TV with streaming accounts 8 Unlike other rentals we have had through VRBO the only communication was through “pdf” via VRBO account. Always have had notebook with lots of info fe rental, location info etc. 9 Excessive lighting in sitting area, all 12 or 1 ceiling lights 10 Only wall decorations were multiple photos of donuts which was overkill!!! Poorly decorated and not inviting or comfortable to spend time there. We have rented through VRBO for many years in US and Europe and this listing was poorly represented and was not an enjoyable or welcoming rental.

Somewhat misrepresented

The unit itself was clean and spacious. It was not as described as “luxury” or “downtown”. The decor was minimalist/HoBo and very pleasant. It’s important to know there is tv programming available only internet. If you have no streaming options, it doesn’t work. One of the shower doors is missing, bed is a full/double vice queen, ice maker didn’t work, many cosmetic blemishes throughout. The building is not in a good area and the common spaces are filthy. There is graffiti on building, entrance and trash cans lined up in front with graffiti. I didn’t leave the unit at night and made sure all doors and windows were locked. Owners were very nice and professional however the property was subpar and not as advertised. I wouldn’t stay there again. Sorry.

Perfect Getaway

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Fox Point community had everything we wanted & needed within walking distance. We jogged 3 miles each morning all around the downtown park and pedestrian bridge area. We stopped in at PV donuts with our free donut gift card (thank you!! thank you!!!) and now I’m ruined for life on donuts from anywhere else. Delicious! Coffee every morning in the beautiful, spacious 2nd story flat. Walked to pizzerias, bars, restaurants, Trader Joe’s & I also had to work remotely one day from the flat in the wonderfully appointed office space. Internet was great! Bed was extremely comfortable. It is a very trendy, busy, fun area. We loved the vibe & energy. It was busy at night with quite a bit of street traffic/noise. It doesn’t bother me but my husband struggles to sleep with intermittent noise, so I just put on green noise/black screen from YouTube that will play for 10 hours continuously and we slept great!! Parking was convenient & we had no issues. Great stay & would definitely love to come again!! Oh, and communication was great. The few questions we had were answered promptly & we felt grateful to feel like special guests. Oh, and we also walked to India Point Park. If you want to stay in a trendy neighborhood with an opportunity to get out and really experience what a city is about, this is a great place to stay with a lot going on and we felt totally safe & comfortable here. Hope you have the same experience if you choose to stay here😊

Hello! We are Juliana & Alex, a couple very passionate about good food, exercising & donuts. We have two loving cavapoos, Reese & Rosie. We live in Massachusetts, but travel often to Providence (mostly for PV Donuts).
We love PV Donuts so much that we actually had them cater our wedding!
Our method is to order almost every flavor, then take a bite together from each one and then go back to our favorites at the end. At this point we are usually in diabetic shock, but it’s always worth it.

We met doing CrossFit back in 2016, which we still do together now. This allows us to enjoy our main hobby of eating all the yummy food. We have had a lot of fun exploring Providence and hope that we can help make your time here an unforgettable experience.
