The house was very nice, the property was outstanding. Close to amenities of town and other destinations than a short drive back to the woods and waterfront. What a wonderful place, I would recommend The Cherry Lodge to everyone wanting a great getaway!

Perfect atmosphere on the water

The ten of us had a marvelous time! The property was exactly what we needed and wanted and the hosts made sure that our stay was uncomplicated and pleasant. We hope to stay there again soon!

We loved the property! Some very nice person put kindling started in the fire pit and made it so easy for a great fire. We saw a bald eagle and today deer. Wonderful secluded property! Comfort inside with plenty of places to sit. Our host came to meet us the second day. Thank you so much for sharing this 100 year property.

Thank you so much for your kind words! I am thrilled you got to see one of our resident bald eagles! I do want to apologize for the misplaced fireplace tools,I hope you didn’t want to build a fire inside. It appears a guest with toddlers moved them to the corner between the sofas to reduce toddler play and we did not catch that. You left the cottage absolutely beautiful, our cleaner asked if anyone had been there so thank you. Rob and I hope you will consider staying here again for your next girls getaway! A fantastic family getaway!

After a few months of home school and work due to covid, we were extremely excited for a change of scenery. The cottage was perfect for our family of 5, plus a few extra family guests...and my brother's dog. We had wonderful weather, enjoyed the yard lake, firepit, and cooking meals together. We look forward to returning!

Excllent family location

Our family of 7 plus one dog had a wonderful time at your home. The large yard and fire pit were extra's that we enjoyed each day. The house in itself meet all our expectations. I would recommend your property highly. Brian

Family Reunion

This was an old but really nice space. We had plenty of room, loved the porch and fire pit....and the amazing view. We made very special memories in this nostalgic cabin. Thank you for sharing your property with us! Blessings!

Linda the caretaker, her husband and the owner were so very nice and helpful with suggestions for the area. The owner sat with us for a bit and gave us a nice history of the property. We were allowed to check in early when we anrrived annd check out late since we were on a trolley tour our last morning. The house is super cozy, clean and right on the water. I fell asleep to the sound of lapping waves. 6 bedrooms and 2 full baths were perfect for a family girls getaway! The property is secluded in nature and private, yet 5 min to the town of Egg Harbor. I ran in the neighborhood in the early morning hours and only saw a few dog walkers and bicyclists. We are coming back next year!!

Really cute and charming property. Host is just down the road and super friendly so definitely a good place to book. I would recommend bringing swim shoes if you plan to go in the lake as the rocks can be a little sharp. Also will want to pack soap, hand towels, and condiments and spices for anything you plan to cook. Great place! 10/10

Awwww- you guys were great! Rob really really enjoyed talking to you. And made our cleaners very happy with how great a condition you left the home. I would always give you 10 stars to any potential host! I am sorry to hear about the soap, our cleaners were supposed to leave softsoap in each bathroom and kitchen.

Charming cottage with stunning lakefront

My husband and I and our dog had a wonderful stay at the charming Cherry Lodge! The lakefront is absolutely stunning. Watching sunsets around the fire pit and listening to the waves was a dream. Thank you for allowing us the privilege of enjoying this gem in Egg Harbor!

What a view!

We loved our stay at Cherry Lodge, it was just what we needed. We did a lot of hiking with our dog "Fred" and some shopping and ate too much at some good restaurants. The manager was very responsive and we adored sitting in the sun room and looking at the lake. There were some breathtaking sunsets. We did not get to use the fire pit but maybe next time. There certainly would be room to bring our kids and grandkids!

Amazing vacation spot. Secluded, spacious, amazing sunsets, open yard for the children to play.

We had 12 people stay at Cherry Lodge from 65 years old down to 2 years old. Everyone had a great experience. There are actually 6 bedrooms with a lot of room both inside and out for children to explore. You have a private beach and caught small mouth bass from our shore. The sunset is absolutely amazing. Our closest neighbor was probably 300 to 400 yards away. I would highly recommend this lodge. We will be back.

Part of an over century old family summer retreat, Cherry Lodge is classic, old time Door County. Def not a cookie cutter spec home or condo, it has been thoughtfully updated and modernized without giving up its original charm and character. It is located on a private drive, with no other homes in sight and boasts a huge sunny lawn, woods on three sides and beyond stunning water views from its waterfront firepit. . Truly waterfront, you will enjoy your own private, walk right into the water wash stone beach that slopes gently into the water.

A perfect family getaway, it is private but conveniently located to get to Egg Harbor in a few minutes and Murphy County Park with a public boat launch and fishing pier is less than a mile south.
There is plenty of space inside for everyone to spread out, and reliable WIFI for a workation.
