Perfect family getaway

We loved our stay here. There was plenty of room for our family to sleep, relax, and hangout outside! The waterfront was the icing on the cake. Beautiful views, tranquil setting, overall very relaxing. We hope to be back for another family getaway!! Thank you!

Amazing family vacation

The house was perfect for our yearly family vacation, accommodating 2 families! We really enjoyed our family time at the lake. Not only was the location amazing, but the house was also soo clean! Our host, was very responsive to our needs. We are looking forward to coming back next year!

Great Lake-Life

Our family had a great fall getaway. We enjoyed being right on the water and having our pontoon boat on our private dock. Crystal was a great hostess, friendly and easy-going and provided us with fabulous recommendations. Looking forward to returning next year!

Great getaway

This house was clean and comfortable. The added air conditioning was a big improvement over last year. The location is perfect for us with a beach, boat ramp, and dock. We've always stayed in Moultonborough and we like the area and the people. The property owner is always available too. We had an excellent family vacation.

Waterfront Fun

This home was a perfect fit for my family: Older parents, myself, my brother and 4 adult children. The dock accommodated our rented boat and had a ladder for swimming off the dock. There is a sandbar close to the property that is popular with boaters. We watched fireworks all around the lake from Adirondack chairs on the dock on the 4th. It’s located close enough to do day trips to Squam, Meredith, and Weirs attractions. Chrystal lives next door and was responsive to any questions we had during the stay. We had a very enjoyable week!!

Old Friends Get Away

We really enjoyed our time together at the Lake House. There was plenty of space for our group of five. The house was well equiped for our needs. The location, right on the Lake, is beautiful. The surrounding area has so many options for activities for all ages to enjoy. Chrystal was quick to answer any questions we had.

Best vacation spot!

The location was amazing! We had beautiful weather and the house along with its host Chrystal checked all the boxes! It was everything we hoped for and then done! We had 4 families together and had plenty of room and tons of fun! Private dock and beach made vacationing with little ones super manageable and convenient! Centrally located on the lake to get to most places by boat or a quick drive! We will definitely be back! Thanks to Chrystal for making this family vacation super memorable and an awesome place to stay!

Awesome Long Island Vacation

The perfect lake home on a bridged island. The house was clean, the kitchen well equipped and the beds comfortable. Watch the sunrise from the dock and it’s only a 2-3 minute walk to enjoy beautiful sunsets at the Moultonborough beach. We had a great time with our dog and look forward to returning. Chrystal is a wonderful host!

Great place for a great vacation!

We had a wonderful, memorable week at this home. The owner was super helpful, accommodating, and welcoming. The home is in a cove on the lake, so the water is calm. It is located only yards from the loading dock and beach. Great private dock for all water toys with sandy beach to swim in. I highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a great week on the lake.

Heat wave in August

Just be aware, if you catch a heat wave in August the house does not have air conditioning. 2 of the 4 bedrooms have a window unit. The kitchen, living room dining room and the other 2 bedrooms have nothing. You could not sleep in those rooms it was so hot. The location is great directly on the lake, but we felt mislead by the listing.

Perfect lake life vacation in NH

Our family had a great vacation. The house was perfect, plenty of room, a sandy beach, a brand new dock and an awesome lake. Chrystal was a great host who made us feel at home and was available for any help we needed. The lake is a special spot to visit and this was a great house to do it from. We'd happily go back!

Lake Life Heaven

What a wonderful property this is! Let me start by saying Chrystal ( our host) was extremely helpful and accommodating. Always checking to see if we were ok and if we needed anything. House was clean and well maintained. Location on the lake was outstanding. Would definitely rent again.

Lake Getaway

Chrystal was very helpful, she let us know we were able to check in early if we wanted, we got there and everything was perfect. We brought our 3 Golden Retrievers and our boat and really enjoyed the sunny fall weekend. The dogs loved jumping off the dock and being able to come back in through the private beach area. It was exactly what were were looking for, its not easy to rent with 3 dogs but Chrystal made us feel just like home. For any dog owner who is looking for a house on the water to rent, this is it!

Good place to get away from it all

First off, lakefront property - always a plus. The place was exactly as advertised and away from civilization for anyone to unwind. House was clean (albeit with weak water pressure but not temperature), wi-fi and entertainment were good, and the owner was right next door for any questions. There is a place for a campfire to sit down and watch the stars or make smores. And a multitude of places to fish on the lake or not - I recommend underneath the bridge which you drove over to the house. The area - not the house - is not without small pitfalls. Either due to COVID or oversight on our part, boat rentals weren't allowed - we wanted to explore the lake, we couldn't. Secondly, there are no extensive markets nearby - for anyone from big or metropolitan cities, the limited produce options are noticed. So if you want to prevent yourself from running out of snacks or drinks that you believe aren't niche but actually are, stock up. Anything else that detracted to the experience could be linked to quarantine so we worked around it by taking nature available options. In summation, a great experience if one wants to get away from society.
